Bayern Munich’s season is threatening to go completely off of the rails now after yet another loss in the Bundesliga, and a first leg loss to Lazio in the Champions League. Not only are results going awry, but Thomas Tuchel’s tactics are failing to bring the best out of this Bayern Side, as Bayer Leverkusen’s triumph in the Bundesliga feels inevitable. This Bayern season is on the edge of disaster if things don’t turn around quickly. Hence, plenty of links of Zidane to Bayern, Flick back to Bayern… and even Solskjaer to Bayern?

NOTE: 24 hours after publishing this video, Tuchel and Bayern announced they are parting ways at the end of the season.

But what I can say is that if if Bayern fails to win the Bundesliga the season that the manager in charge who oversaw them lose their strangle hold of the league let their 11 season Run come to an end will certainly have some repairs to do to his reputation when it was

Announced that tle would be taking over for nlman there was certainly confusion given nagles man’s run with Bayern certainly wasn’t sack worthy but I think there was an overriding feeling that tle would improve Bayern still yes there were some concerns regarding the brand of football and his relationships with

Some players towards the end of his tenure with Chelsea but with how Chelsea continued to suffer following T’s dismissal it felt more like a Chelsea problem rather than a tle problem and that he would find that Champions League winning form with Bayern a team that knows how to win already and just needs

A good shepherd to guide them well since making this video a month ago oh how things have changed and gone downhill they’ve basically sprinted downhill mid January onward was certainly a bit of an inflection point for Byron’s season to Choose Your Own Adventure and choose who

You want to be kind of moment as they had a runin with League leading Byer lusen on the horizon and while they weren’t in crisis yet the results since this video have sunk them to lower and lower levels by their standards we will of course lay that video to rest because

As facts change such as Bayern getting worse from then on so too does the perception and Analysis that surrounds them the best place to start would be to check in on what has happened since I made that video where I analyze whether Byron was truly in a crisis or not at

That moment they weren’t I went over how the football was a bit uninspired of course it’s kind of just what you get from tul these days the modern tul at times the football is uninspired looking and touch and go but for the most part you get good results out of them but

While it was similarly uninspiring a buyer they were still scoring more goals than they had at that point last season and their overall point trajectory was on course to be a great one actually in fact I made this graphic to illustrate what their at the time projected point

Total of 82 would have brought them in previous Seasons 7even out of 10 times it would have been enough for them to win the league and when coupled with the improved goals compared to last season it felt like while Bayern weren’t performing that great should Tule find

Them some form they would go on to have a pretty solid season in fact one of the guys who’s been mentioned as someone who could come in for tle Mr Hy flick I was looking at the season he won the Bundesliga and when you look at the second place team you had brucia

Dortmund getting 69 points in the 201920 season hansy Flick’s first in charge well half season in charge as he took over after Niko Kovach was let go and then in hansy Flick’s First full season the 2020 21 season RB leig got 65 points in 2122 Nan’s only full season Dortmund

In second got 69 points Byer leveren after just 22 matches played already has 58 points that does put things into perspective a little bit with tle and what he’s up against with Leverkusen but anyway I’m not here to be a tle Defender getting off track there a little bit

Because if they did find form they could have gone on to have a pretty good season well that didn’t happen at all did it or at least it looked as if they would find some form only for everything to fall apart in an outrageous fashion for Bayern following that video they won

Their match in hand against unan Berlin then they won against alburg and then they won once again against brusi maing glabb back overall again not as convincing as perhaps the Bayern supporters would have liked to play we’re talking about the actual performances but a 31 win all the same

And so at that point it really did feel like it could go in either Direction with the Leverkusen match being a make or break for their season if they were able to somehow someway get a win away to Leverkusen hell even a draw would have been positive and perhaps you could

See Byron in the squad battening down the hatches and riding out the rest of the season for an epic title tilt with Leverkusen and maybe even stealing it again somehow as they did last season but and there’s a go and it’s y oh it’s a sensational strike G he has a

Go that is H to finish it Byron were Dreadful well and truly beaten by a far superior side in chabby Alonzo’s Leverkusen beaten both mentally and on the scoreboard and you know what’s funny with stanisich opening the scoring for Leverkusen a player who operates in the

Right back position and is on loone from Bayern which has been a problem area for Bayern I said this in my previous video about Bayern and loan stanisich to buer Leverkusen leaving tul to choose to play Limer at right back of late that takes on a whole new meaning doesn’t it this

Is the stick iny own bicycle spokes meme come to life essentially Thomas Müller launched into an angry tirade after the match saying that the players have to take some responsibility quote to be honest I’m pissed off to quote Oliver Khan what I miss for us players are the

Balls in the game we are showing significantly better approaches in training it’s okay to feel pressure but there needs to be energy and freedom that’s missing in our game sometimes we have to speak about us players it’s not just about the coach we have many international players at the highest

Level we need to step up our game Byron looked completely Shor of any belief in themselves and with that drubbing from Leverkusen there was an Aftershock as well going away to Rome in the Champions League to take on a Lazio side that themselves are completely unstable this

Season as they currently sit in eighth in CA only getting out by Napoli at the moment Byron somehow found a way to lose to Lazio with 17 attempts and not a single one on target bad times seem to be magnet for silly stuff with OA Mao putting in a clumsy Challenge and not

Only giving away a penalty which would be the match winner but getting himself sent off and ineligible for the second leg in Munich oh speaking of opa Mao’s disaster class of a week would continue in the next match for Bayern that versus mid tableside vfl bham mind you they do

Have a history of surprising Bayern now and then but anyway UPA Mao was in fact rested for this game but an injury to mazwi just what tle needed forced dup maano onto the pitch 6 minutes after getting into The Fray he got a yellow card in the 77th minute he would go up

For a header and his arm would smack Kevin SCH slaughterbeck in the face second yellow for UPA maano penalty for bookham backto back Reds for the man and 3-1 up for bam so bayron lost that match 3-2 their third consecutive loss which is the first time they have lost three

In a row since 2015 their seventh loss this season and T’s 11th in 44 matches with bayron they lost two consecutive Bundesliga matches for the first time since December of 2019 as midfielder Leon gareta said following the loss quote it feels like a never-ending horror film everything is

Just going against us at the moment at the moment I think we have to question everything truly Alo especially with what happened on the sidelines as Well in case you missed it there were reports of Joshua kimik and Thomas T’s assistant coach zlo getting into a very very heated discussion following the match with some report saying that they had to be held back from each other a coach fighting a player not a good look

Perhaps it was blown out of proportion I mean that never happens with football reporting right that never happens but kimek and how unhappy he is under Tule isn’t anything new and he showed his anger upon being subbed versus bokum tuul in response to this story said that these kinds of frustrations in

Incredibly emotional football locker rooms are nothing new people clash and that it doesn’t really mean anything in a vacuum I would agree with with him but given the individual that is involved kimik is not so much a surprise tul and kimik have had disagreements throughout this season and even last season as well

Last season tle was quite critical of kimik and Greta as well to be fair as tle subbed him off early in a match something that never really happened with the German midfielder prior then this summer tle made it his mission to find a new defensive midfielder or

Number six in the eyes of kimik at worst it was to replace him and at best to give him competition for place however kimick apparently isn’t the only one some other notable allegedly upset players include mati delit who has seen his minutes limited this season as he was benched for the pivotal match

Against Leverkusen despite being healthy and only came on against Lazio in the Champions League thanks to OA maano getting himself sent off as solid as OA maano has been he has plenty of errors in him especially lately errors that can be big enough to cost Byron a result on

Top of that mati tell is also rumored to be unhappy as he hasn’t started a single Bundesliga match this season despite fans calling for opportunities for him Chupa moing was preferred against bam but once tell came on he set up a goal minutes later as you can see his goal

Contributions despite his limited minutes are quite good and with Harry Kane often dropping deep he feels like a natural partner to him that could run in behind when Bayern are playing with a two- Striker setup now there have been further reports that the three players we have mentioned haven’t been the only

Ones to be unhappy at the moment and considering their future at Bayern as a recent report from rfh hanstein claims that tukul hasn’t been able to strike up good working relationships with many of the squad members now I assume most of you know who hanstein is a writer of

Great Rapport in Germany and has close ties with people at the top clubs in the country hanstein says that a senior member of bayern’s board has said of TK’s relationship with the squad quote he’s undermined everybody this comes just days after Bayern had denied that Tule had said that the players were

Perhaps not up to Standard now how big of a deal is it to lose to Leverkusen well it’s not just losing to Leverkusen but losing the league in general after 11 straight years of winning it and it’s not just losing to Leverkusen in a match but losing the league to the team that has

Finished Runners up without winning more than any other team in Europe’s top divisions Yes you heard that right they have finished Runners up in the Bundesliga five times now from the ’90s until now and have never won the Bundesliga for tle and perhaps some Byron fans the blow would be softened by

The fact that well this is a Leverkusen season that could be seen as an anomaly when you lose to a team that hasn’t tasted defeat once you can always point to this as a freak incident I mean that’s like judging usin bolt for losing the 100 meter because he was struck by

Lightning during the race but as the season has gone on we’ve seen how well Leverkusen has improved Bayern have gone in the opposite direction in fact just look at their first match against them it was well controlled by Bayern for the most part with Leverkusen getting a draw

Out of the match thanks to goals from a beautiful free kick from Grimaldo lovely goal and a 94th minute penalty that Palos converted for The Equalizer and again by most metrics the season Bayern are actually an improvement on the last season but now that the wheels have

Started to come off they have looked Dreadful by their own standards now maybe just maybe Thomas tle is the guy who arrived at the wrong time for bayron arriving at a time when the club was in the Twilight of their most recent golden run of dominance a time when the club

Needs to go through an absolute rebirth following a long long period of dominance get some of the complacency out of there perhaps tul is the equivalent arriving at the club when it is most fractured and in need of a complete overhaul before they can go on to being dominant again Byron feels like

A club that is trying to hold on to pieces of their past that brought them so much success including some older heads in the team of which there are too few to have an impact now with the board and those behind the scenes still expecting the byon of old to be ever

Present while they have a manager in Tule who’s trying to create a Bayern of his own Vision now and asked whether Tule would be in charge against leig next Saturday bayron chief executive Christian dreon said that he would be but with an asteris as he also mentioned that quote such Oaths of loyalty

Don’t tend to last more than a week essentially from one match day to the next ominous words so the belief is that tukul at least following bham and prior to the match against liip will not be sacked and that Byron will instead kind of right off this season and focus their

Attentions on getting someone in this summer to take control of the club for next season however if they were to lose a fourth consecutive match or if they somehow don’t get past Lazio in the Champions League it’s incredibly difficult to see a world where t is in

Charge of Bayern and like I said in the previous video the Bayern manager that relinquishes control of the league will have quite the damage to their reputation no doubt tul won’t have issues getting another job but there’s certainly more question marks surrounding his name than there used to

Be it’s definitely an interesting time though isn’t it guys Byron have been dominant for so long having everything their way in the Bundesliga that in some respects it feels like that’s all I’ve ever known in the bundus league of course that isn’t true I remember when you know stard Wolfsburg and Dortmund

Were winning the league as well my goodness will it ever be weird but very refreshing to see someone else lift that Bundesliga platter should that happen of course I don’t want to count my chickens before they hatch who knows maybe everything changes for Bayern following this video as well anyways guys thanks

So much for watching said video and if you loved it subscribe for more from me here and drop a like to tell the algorithm that this video is at least worthy of a suggestion on YouTube all right I appreciate you and be well Bye

    1. I think that Bayerns well constructed "Wizard Of Oz" type setup is finally unraveling tbh.
It's a club that to outsiders looks extremely well run and everyone seems to know their roles and people get along handsomely.
But for years we've been getting little reports of clashings in that club and it usually gets swept under the rug. They usually have a grip on media in Germany.
The mask is slipping this time.

    2. 6:48 you forgot to mention that in 2015, they lost the 3 games after winning the league. This is the first time they have lost back-to-back-to back league games in an active title race since 1992.

    3. Tuchel has always been a mid coach at best. He even admitted to being shocked that Chelsea won it all against Pep's Man City in the CL. Not only are his so called "tactics" no fit for Bayern, but alienating an entire locker room is nothing new for Tuchel. He's managed to do it at pretty much every he's club managed since Dortmund.
Also, Tuchel scrapping Bayern's signature attacking style to "adjust" to Xabi's Leverkusen and reverting to a back three? That in and of itself should be a sackable offense at Bayern. Bayern never play scared, Bayern doesn't adjust for anybody, it is everyone else that has to adjust to Bayern. The motto is "Mia San Mia" (We Are Who We Are) for a reason. Never in all my time I've watched this club have I seen a coach utterly emasculate a squad with such world-class talent and potential as Thomas Tuchel has. No excuse.

    4. Me being a Bayern fan blood dropping off my eyes it's not leverkusen it's us they are playing a fantastic season we were but we dipped idk if it's tuchel or not but this in sure tuchel playstled was and never will bee for us tht defensive movement diminishes our playstyle just NY thoughts nd I feel we need either get a manager who has counter attacking strategies or sfaight ass attacking dominance

    5. The Stanisic goal was crazy ironic.
Stanisic who was deemed not ready for bayern scores a goal against them because their new 30mio€ defender Boey screwed up terribly in his first match.

    6. As someone following Bayern very closely the Club has lots of problems:

      1) The squad is to small. Tuchel pointed it out before the start of the season – there is not enough quality players to go through the season and back up injued starters.

      2) Tuchel himself. I was pro Tuchel when they decided to go for him. However, he proved how stubborn he is. He is not able to adapt his playstyle to the team and rather wants them to play the way he imagines – even though that doesn't work out. He obviously favours certain players (Upa, Sané, Minjae, Goretzka…) and seems to dislike others (Tell, De Licht, Kimmich). IMO he doesn't know how to maintain a positive spirit and rather creates a toxic one.

      3) Overpaid players: Oh my… You wouldn't believe how much Neuer and Muller still earn even though they can't back it up by consistent, good performances anymore. And then you have players like Gnabry and Sané who are not performing despite being in the best age of a footballer.

      4) Mia san mia: Bayern lost it's identity. Tuchel favours a really defensive approach which doesn't suit Bayern at all. Bayern was known for high work rate and cautious, well timed attacks with a decent output in attack. The past month they barely converted and the amount of chances Bayern managed to create was the worst i have ever seen from them.

      5) Flügelzange: Bayern's wingers are not able to replace Robbery. Sané and Coman have all the talent in dribbling but their passing and shooting has sunday league quality, which makes Bayern a one trick pony on the wings.

    7. FC Hollywood may have finally played itself out. All these egos in the playing staff, coaching staff and boardroom was a dangerous mix that was always going to blow up eventually.

    8. Nagelsmann got fired in the middle of a Champions League run just for Tuchel to last a season and a half 😂…life lol.

But memes and jokes aside, its just unfortunate the timing of it all. Coz Bayern have been having issues upstairs since even before either Nagelsmann or Tuchel were appointed. So they probably would have been in this same position with Nagelsmann since Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen is playing historically good but that whole short term boost they were going for with Tuchel didn't pan out. I think Bayern figured they could have done what Chelsea did and basically have a short term boost maybe win a trophy or two and then blow it all up. Similar to what happens with Conte teams.

Great watch as always and loved the nuance in the video. Coz Tuchel has been bad vibes for them but he'd have comfortably beat challengers from previous years, he just happens to be bringing bad vibes whilst up against a relentless Leverkusen.

    9. Bayern's decline after the exit of Lewandowski was clear last season already. Dortmund handed them the title. It's like the German government and German national team: long-term stability/lack of creative destruction leads to long-term decline.

    10. Alonso showed the entire league that he is just a better manager in every regard. Tuchel has shown that he lacks a lot. A good manager doesn't loose the trust of his team, that just doesn't happen when you are actually good in what you are doing.

    11. Tuchel needs to go , not at the end of the season but now. It's completely obvious he has lost the dressing room. We won't play good football again until someone better get's in charge. Upamecano plays all the time and make horrific mistakes and de light is wasting his life on the bench like a reserve player. He needs to play, he is better than upemecano who makes far too many far to big mistakes for beeing a unquestioned starter.

    12. Tuchel's style is similar to conte with little more aggression & pressing.

      no fluke chelsea winning UCl

he is not a manager who plays 4-3-3 with highline atatcking football.

Tuchel can do wonders with Atletico, Inter, Milan, Chelsea may be juventus also Newcastle.

      its like Emery-Arsenal.

he is a miss fit for bayern and vice versa.

    13. Predicted that from the start. The way and the reason they fired Nagelsmann for was ridiculous and hardly anyone in the team understood it. A good amount of players where really disappointed by Salihamidzic and Kahn because of that. Some were even hostile towards Tuchel from the start for taking over Nagelsmann's job. Will be interesting to see if these players will show better performances now, knowing Tuchel will be gone soon.
