We’ve decided to skip the route through Slovenia. Climbs are too hard for my recumbent bike. Instead we follow a relatively easier route via the Murradweg (R2) to Murau and camped near Peterdorf.

After Tamsweg, the plan was to cycle further down south via Villach to Slovenia Over a number of difficult climbs in the Julian Alps After the failure on the Tauern pass, where we hardly made any progress… we’ve decided to skip this whole loop and from Tamsweg following the Mur valley route instead
