Today we’re cleaning the trails and trying out our new Orbea Occam H20, also testing these new tools I bought in the store.
It’s just mostly testing the equipment, than a real trail cleaning, but all that will come in a month, when my buddies & me will clean the complete track on Veli Vrh and Rječina canyon.
I also bought a grass trimmer, but it was too big to carry it in the rucksack.
So just basic tools this time, to see how they work until we start with real work!

Hello guys welcome to another episode we are here at the same spot oh wait I didn’t lock out my suspension same spot Val towards Val uh we are on this small Trail which is leading towards Val and we also going to kind of uh work on it actually I think I’m going to
Start right here I don’t have uh all the tools with me uh but I’ll use what I have yeah I have to start cleaning the trails a bit in one month I will do it much better but right now I just want to start it was B weather all these days
Finally today slightly better it’s still gray but you know it’s good enough to cut some stuff so yeah so we’re cutting few branches here which will be on the way on this Trail I will use this Trail as an uphill Trail most probably a bit of leaf
Blowing the leaves are pretty wet so you know it’s harder it’s harder to do this but it still goes do is to cut the grass but I’ll do this in a month or so because I’m going home in two days so I don’t really have time nor I
Cannot there’s no room enough for uh the long the how do you say the trimmer for the grass I just don’t have enough room to carry it on my bike I think I need a a car for that like a transporter or something because it’s a lot of stuff to carry so
Yeah oh oh yeah the sun is coming again that’s really nice it’s really warm on the sun too still winter man but the temperature here in Croatia went really really high I think it’s in most of the Europe now it’s pretty hot like in the inside of Croatia a few days
Ago uh the inner part of Croatia had 20° 20° in the middle of winter well oh this section is with a lot of torns I did this part though it was much worse no it’s better much better and we going to further there on the uphill of this
Trail is much much much more these kind of torns a lot of work to be done but I enjoy it I love this it makes me so relaxed and of course you’re going to find these kind of horrible things junkies drug addict Unfortunately they come here
Too I don’t know like why do they come here that’s weird why wouldn’t they go anywhere else ah well what can you do okay this is going away I need a machete for this kind of stuff God so many torns I need a trimmer for this like a bush trimmer not Grass
Trimmer but Bush trimmer cuz this is going very slow and this is like this tool the scissors are for branches green branches not really for this it does the job but you know I need something else I need a trimmer actually well we did pretty good
Job there is a lot of work to do here on this Trail and this is just a an uphill trail that leads to valber uh I need to yeah I need to trim all this the bushes the torns I will buy a trimmer okay let’s move further I

SLX um yeah this tire combo is great diss sector in the back minion dhf on the front I love this kind of combo especially on this kind of terrain in Croatia rims the wheels are amazing uh I don’t know if you can see it like this but one side is
Straight but the other side is like leaned on the side I guess it’s for cornering I have never seen this kind of rims to be honest wheels or maybe I did but I don’t remember but they feel really really good uh SLX shifter here SLX brakes they’re amazing they’re
Really good I love SLX brakes much better than what it’s on h30 for sure but it will change it will change H Chester pinky pedals uh all in all it’s great it’s really good bike I feel much better on this one than on the orange one just
Because I guess it has more travel and better tires but all that will be changed ah the one thing I forgot which is kind of important is a food I don’t have any food oh no I only have water ah screw it if it becomes critical if I become really hungry I’ll

Rina it’s a bit muddy because it was a lot of rain these days a lot of wind as well ah beautiful beautiful okay let’s go maybe I clean just a bit more on the way it’s already very late it’s past 4 the sun will go down soon although
It’s this time it’s a longer day yeah let’s drive a bit more I will be slow because I have this stuff in my back and it sticks out so you know I must be careful so I don’t hit any branch or whatever yeah okay let’s try this bike oh yeah this this
Feels much better wow bigger suspension does the job you can really feel it and these tires of course these tires are very good oh that was close I almost hit that Branch above me I have to be careful yeah man a lot more forgiving with this bike this suspension
But the ag30 or B the two ones the other two I have they also feel great on these Trails it’s just uh less less travel that’s all but everything else is great except the brakes and this climbs really well as well yeah I mean it’s the same bike just more travel
Wow such a good feeling over these rocks with this suspension oh I mean this Trail is in good shape for now nothing to be done here maybe cut cut the grass a bit on the side but not even that looks good yeah all this is in good shape I
Don’t have to do anything not even blow this uh pine pine uh needles whatever it’s all right but you know I’ll just blow a few leaves here just to have fun you know there’s not really much work on this Trail right now at least but just for
The sake of it just going to use my tools new tools I have to try them out a bit I mean for 40 this costed me40 it’s pretty good man it’s pretty damn good the battery I think costed even more than this thing but it’s powerful like yeah it’s pretty
Good I mean you can even disassemble it you can even disassemble it and it fits in the back but I cannot take this out like it’s something is stuck here and I cannot take this black part out ah it is what it is at least it works that’s the most
Important everything is still wet but when it gets dry it will be much easier to blow out all right let’s go let’s see what we cleaned oh I mean you can see the rocks at least oh nice nothing really to clean here maybe cut the grass here this on the side that’s

Have uh patches for inner tires because this is I don’t have milk in these tires at the moment it’s not tubeless right now but it will be again near kerina B let’s go oh huh should I work here a bit with the leaf blower uh maybe that part yeah that part
There might need a bit of work let’s see battery is getting low really low ah okay I think that’s it it’s giving up guess we’ll have we’ll have to change it I’ve seen quite a few people today on the trail which I’m pleased to see I’m pleased to see domestic people going out
Because usually I don’t see them so often here yeah uh so this cleaning is also for them and I’m also pleased about that it’s not just for us it’s for everybody sharing is caring ah I’m touching the tree with these things okay we cleaned this part it’s very nice now can see everything
A lot of work to be done yet I need more time though as I said soon I will come back and do the rest this is very very pleasing for me it’s like a you know hard work but it’s very satisfying okay let’s just take this White Road it’s getting
