So very good evening to all uh my name is sat lakmi shivadas and I’m doing my Masters in Business Administration at Trent College Bolton University and London and I’m from India so I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr dat for who gave me this opportunity

To present my paper in this uh big platform also I would like to convey my special thanks to Dr shal Chri who who was my supervisor guided me throughout the research so today I’m going to discuss the about my uh the research topic is the impact of covid-19 on the

Indian aquaculture and seafood industry the importance of a leadership and strategic business management in crisis management so the abstract of my research is to uh the aim is uh and the the aim of this entire research to analyze the covid-19 pandemic’s effects on the fisheries and aquaculture sectors

On India as examine the recovery plans suggest measures for long-term recovery based on the research a I have formed the objectives and uh uh an important research cap has found and while doing this research so uh the research follows the primary quantitative data analysis method through an online survey method I

Have been maintained Rel liability validity and ethical consideration throughout my research so the study examines as answers from experts in a variety of fields to stress the significance uh to of adaptive tactics technical Investments and strong leadership in meeting the difficulties of the post pandemic era and maintaining

The resilience of the country moving on to the introduction uh the covid-19 epidemic has severely affected various sectors of the global economy uh including India’s aquaculture and Fisheries industry so according to mina uh in 20120 it was 1.29 Million metric fish products exported from India but uh in 2021 it was

1.15 million metric so it shows how was the market declin at that uh pandemic time so the research being conducted uh intends to examine how the global pandemic altered the Indian Fisheries industry supply chain demand Trends and market dynamics it will examine the business struggles with the economic

Social and environmental effects of the pandemic uh so the aim of my research is to analyze uh the covid-19 pandemic’s effects on the fisheries and aquaculture sectors in India also examine the recovery plans and suggest measures for long-term recovery so uh uh for the reason behind choosing this

Topic is like I’m I’m an entrepreneur and I’m doing business in India now right now I’m in London but I’m doing business in India in the sale food and aquaculture industry so I I I was one among them to uh like while this pandemic period how it was I I uh

We I experienced so that that’s the reason I have chosen this topic so the my objectives in the study are how covid-19 affected in this industry affected this industry in India analyze what are the Innovations and opportunities created by HRM in recovering from this pandemic situation to analyze how leadership in strategic

Business management helps to overcome the crisis phase so in literature review uh literature review is like to understand well about how this industry has survived from this pandemic make uh with the help of studies Publications and expert perspectives so what I in the previous articles and the books it’s

Mentioned about the importance of business management in the context of Crisis management strategy and uh its importance for the development of business but it’s not mentioned uh about how strategic business management and Leadership leadership can be improved and how it makes uh the aquaculture business sustainable so the research design helps me to

Develop the particular framework that can be used for the progress of the research so it also helps me to eliminate an error of or bias within the research so I have used uh the explanatory research design to develop the cause and effect relationship between the variables um the explanatory

Research design can better explain the survey details than the post pandemic strategy business management because I have done the survey online survey so uh I have mentioned in this chart conceptual framework so this conceptual framework that I have created based on the research aim and objectives which involves the teams identified into

Research um so moving on to the research methodology I have collected the primary data through the online survey uh I chosen 30 participants from who are handling various job roles in aquaculture and seafood industry in India and I made 20 survey questions according to my OB objectives and I have

Done the uh survey through online and uh the graph one it shows uh uh like the possible to get a clear overview of the chief stakeholders in the fishery sector in India such as Traders consumers Fishers and others so these are the chief stakeholders and uh in fish

Seafood and aquaculture sectors so each of the individuals suffered on a strong aspect in the postco 19 scenario due to the presence of Crisis so in addition uh there was a highend emphasis on biocurity measures protecting the staff and preserving healthy stock levels so the

Graph two uh based on the graph uh uh graph two it was it shows showing the clear identification of Trends in the price realization it shows the price realization due to the covid-19 pandemic in the seafood sector it has been over observed that in the first wave the

Price structure was lower than usual in the wholesale and Landing Center whereas in the second whe it was higher than usual and the third figure is being observed that in the first and marketing of fish were affected a lot and most of the survey respondents stated it was difficult

Enough challenges that observed here are the lack of access to the market lack of labors and others so uh the covid-19 epidemic has had a significant effect on India’s fishing and aquaculture Industries creating uh difficulties in supply chain uh shortage of workers and sneaky markets the so the strong leadership and intelligent

Business management have played a critical roles in this industrial Industries Revival uh as a result of the pandemic uh there has been a shift in the emphasizes towards employee health and safety Remote Management and open lines of communication so uh this shift in management philosophy has helped the

Sector recover from the crisis and set the stage of stage for sustainable development in the future so uh successful crisis management uh in India’s aquaculture and fishery sector after the covid-19 pandemic would need Innovative approaches to business leadership and administration uh that put workers safety flexibility and moral

First obviously so to successfully face future challenges and take advantages of emerging development possibilities uh these guiding principles will remain essential further solidifying the industrial standing as a driving creative influence in the global economy um so when it comes to the implications uh what I’m suggesting is like support EO friendly aquaculture

Responsible because we need to e uh we need to focus more on the equo friendly aquaculture like the biofog uh uh bioflock facilities are there to do the production so farmers can do the production through the biof flow that it it will cost less for the farmers and it

Can be the it can sustain the long for long time and it is echo-friendly as well and uh um the consider establishing tax credits for the subsidies for the companies that Implement environmentally sound policies in order to encourage a more sustainable economy uh create awareness raising initiatives uh that

Encourage customers to make sustainable sea food selections uh aquaculture has to Less on wild cod fish for feed hence it it should be encourage to employ alternate feed sources such as insect based protein sustainable pract es improve the industry’s image and ensure its continued success in the longterm

Run thank you for your time and PA
