Nice brisk day here at Farmer John’s so with the first ones here there is no tire tracks did have some snow last night so not too bothered about down there but just this first landing roller lip and stuff so that Jess has got a nice clean run and I’m on slick tires
I’ll give me a bit of a brush before anyone else gets here got to do the trail prep so brushing the lips and Stu’s come to see me on his way to [Laughter] work so Jess just did a little bit of a test run first tires down today and uh
Hit some ice on a corner and as you can see by her hand and her bike there all a bit muddy and slid down so first run down but not the end of the world no at least I could jump last week I couldn’t jump because of my wrist was too sof
Yeah exactly so today as it is with the snow and the ice we just got to take it as it is but let’s try a run down now if I can get me feet onto the bik properly o it is a getting wheel spin bearing in mind I am on a slick
Tire and a single mechanical rear brake it is sliding down this bottom end today and then this is where J slid out before so by looks of it went over there trying a little line even though it’s icy and running slow one can off the drop Postman re then the X
Up then a little bit of that then a table and no every feature of flow line had something done even in the snow and ice oh it’s icy today oh okay let’s try this posty line again one p off the drop po revert exent that was a little bit better

You need studded tyres. I use 45nrth Warthchild. It got big spacing between the knobs, so great mud and snow clearnace/shedding, some of the mid knobs don't have studs, most have studs.
If not much wet snow Schwalbe Ice Spiker Pro will do. Both are great, Ice Spiker Pro has studs on every knob. But packs up snow more.
