1 | Our Family Bike Tour Begins – Spain to Portugal

This was the start of our family’s 5-month long bike touring adventure in Europe in the Spring and Summer of 2023. After taking a train from Sevilla to a suburb, our bike tour took us through Spanish countryside and towns to a ferry crossing into Portugal.
Biked March 10 – March 12, 2023.

This was part of a 5 month long family bike tour of Europe we did on sabbatical.

All right this is day one we’re headed to the train Station He okay we made it in Bazon ready to start we are we are Rolling There we Go This is a nice Road how you doing very good good nice where are you going I’m going to wer and a bit further to Portugal yes maybe 100 km today very good yeah I’m cycling since May last year awesome yeah I was at the North Cape I’m from Hamburg oh from North Cape yeah I’m from Hamburg

Yeah from Germany and I was cycled to Denmark Norway North Cape okay Finland Sweden back awesome Denmark and then Germany back do you mind if I do you mind if I turn the video Yeah Netherlands Belgium France and now Spain awesome yeah and now go to Portugal yeah

We’re we’re heading the same direction not as much not as much this our first day riding yeah she told me yeah so we will not be doing a 100 today Toro Gante CPUs Be a [Applause] tinter W there it Is there’s the castle of nibla n [Applause] a in this world it’s so pretty how we doing Good See three Heroes Oh that’s a beautiful Street [Applause] big [Applause] Letters Snack Break He sh oh my God little muddy okay yeah let’s walk them once you’re stopped though it’s likeo just try to stay on The High Ground probably to uh on the edge meem yeah it’s probably going to be driest you can get your feet to the Edge this is a little muddy you don’t have a ton of this left more than or well over halfway this path is uh little Overgrown okay this was not expected our little path uh disappeared and now we’re in a field but looks like we just have to push about 100 yards then we’ll be back on the ev1 and that should be much better okay we are through the field more EV more Euro one very interesting

TIR at my tire oh jeez I know that one came up to me and I was like the black one yeah the brown one but he was tired right bug no no well the guys called him over oh he did oh thank God no he was standing right there barking at me he

Chased us for like oh okay all the way up to like CH us like I like R just P just P but you can’t outr run him on this road did we did oh you did yeah because had to go he’s guarding the Sheep yeah well they got tired

Too okay back on the carera little less adventurous little faster though yes de Rond Ian my elbow I’m sorry H Let’s see if we can bike it the whole way I don’t know ooh board loock so that you can’t take a car up there we know that look for the no bikes sign though I don’t I don’t see any no bike sign I think we’re okay okay that’s too bad I missed our
