Cycling and hiking through the breathtaking Dolomites in Italy (S1E5)
Welcome to a new episode of The Sunday Ride, in which I’m attempting to cycling around the world while raising money to build a school in Africa. In this episode I’m cycling through the amazing Dolomites in Italy. Elia, who hosted me for a few days provided me with some hiking gear, so I could go for a hike up to Tre Cime. Emilio and Annalisa gave me ride up the mountain and a ride down with a sledge. Fun and joy all around! Enjoy!

Thank you Foreign It’s a new day and yesterday was uh quite a challenge yesterday afternoon evening actually I had to follow a psychopath uh but as you saw it was really impossible it was just pure ice anyways I made it and today I’m going to Cortina and then afterwards continue my way into the

Valley and let’s see about the dolimiti because I’m really excited about that I’m currently cycling in the valley of Cortina and look at this beauties everywhere everywhere you look man it feels like this this entire mountain is about to fall It is view after view after view beautiful mountains beautiful mountains beautiful mountains and there we have our first glimpse Foreign Thank you Okay Foreign Well did some shopping for today for the night we’re off to the hike but it’s not a good start I had to take a bus to the town up in the mountains and apparently the bus left at 9 9 30. it’s 10 30 now and the next one goes at three o’clock ah

So I just started walking tried to hitchhike if it’s possible already steep All right that was my first hitchhike up the mountain uh Francesco in his old Jeep took me a half away halfway to mizorina that’s where I have to go and then continue my way to treachima let’s see if we can score another another ride or did I have to walk all

The way up Guys [Applause] Foreign All right Foreign Laughs okay Foreign Foreign Thank you Cheers foreign I’m on my bike again as you can see I’m ready to go ready to leave the mountains unfortunately they’ve been uh really nice to me I enjoyed them a lot but it’s time to continue yesterday I was planning on skiing but uh eventually the

We were on our way to the ski lift but the car broke down so yeah unfortunately no skiing for me not right now maybe uh in some other mountains but unfortunately not in the dolomites um I will continue my way to Vittorio Veneto today it’s mostly downhill

It’s a beautiful day it’s cold but I’ll be warm as soon as I cycle Foreign Foreign And at the end of my descent I could get one last glimpse of the astonishing Alps and with a backpack full of new experiences and stories I could proudly look back at a challenging but successful Mountain Crossing so it’s time to look forward to the rest of Italy and the Balkan countries

That’s it for this week and I’ll see you in the next one Foreign

    1. This is such a wholesome video. The flawless expression of your joy when you stated "I am happy" was really nice to see. I could really see the joy throughout your whole being in that moment. The mountains are such a powerful place, almost like no other. It's also so nice to see the kindness of others on display with the lifts up the mountain. It reminds us that even in times when we can feel so disconneted to the world around us that there are still many people and places that we can connect with.

Looking forward to the next update already!

    2. When wise man feels primal instinctive urge to go outside for a walk, he looks out the window, sees a tiny cloud in the sky, and says to himself: "it's cloudy today, might start raining soon, the branches move so it's windy and too, anyway, even if I start preparing to go out now it'll take me at least an hour to finally leave the house, so eventually I'll be out for less than an hour, because after six it's getting dark, what's the point of a 30 min walk? Plus when I'm back I'll have to go through a two hour routine of showering, washing, laundry, cooking, etc, the entire day will be wasted on a 30 min walk which I did million times already, what haven't I seen there? Is it not billion times better to lay on a couch, eat and drink anything I want, watch movies, scroll tabloids and just enjoy the pleasures of modern world. Whole world is on my screen, why did I even stand up?'' So he slides the curtains to block the irritating sunlight and lays on the couch enjoying comfort and abuondance of meals.
