Good morning guys grampton b75 handlebar swap from standard b75 Brompton to Joseph kusak Joseph KAC midrise bars so we going start off with a height of from the ground height of essentially 40 in to the center of the bar little bit there the bik’s not quite Square so stand it here so 40

In just down to the bar let’s uh let’s do a quick handle bar swap shall we should I leave the camera running yeah why not I just tell put you back a bit cuz I’m not going to I don’t you know I don’t edit so that means should start and stop the

Camera so let’s start off by I’m just let pop off the the bronts and grips I came out to do the video and it was just beginning to snow now we’re sucking off the braak lever these brake lever are the same as fitted to the current Brompton Mark other than

I know these are genuine bromton I have got a set of these that are also fake I’m just letting off the gear shifter what I would like to know and I would like your input on is on the 3 spe Brompton the rabbit ear gear changer I’d love to know what you’ve all

Fitted I’m hoping these will work the way through without um without too much trouble so that’s that side off that’s that side off slippy off I didn’t bit this sler sorry about the noise we’ve got the builders down the road and uh sounds like one of the neighbors is clearing out the glass

Bin so the bars feed through bit of a Fed Up bit of a work working the snake here’s a Kox slippy slidey in the go the koac haven’t been cut down I know I fitted kuak these mid rise kuac to an SAR by um and I did have to cut I think 20

Mil off each end to um to get them into the into the correct position just bear with me sure we don’t need to open that anymore you can actually put the screw in the other way to sprag that we’ve got helicopter going over now morning police I

Believe I don’t know if that’ll fit on there that no it won’t let’s get that on there let’s go that way around that’s better swing it around kak bars it has I’ll show you when I’ve done it has markings so you can’t get it wrong so it’s full gr even even Andrew

Proof what about Allen Keys long Allen Keys what of advice use long Allen keys for undoing stuff and shorter Allen keys for tightening stuff up just an opinion of mine but you can’t take a Titan if you use shorter Allen Keys that’s not that one is

It that’s that one we’ll put the Bell on perhaps so you tighten this up to 1.5 Newton M which isn’t a lot and I’m not going to use a torque wrench I’m going to Taren it up to about there and we put this one on did a bang the table

Then in there in there that’s on tighty tighty as a ballp part positioning going to leave about 4 mm between the brake lever and the end of the grip may need more may need less don’t forget on the bromton the brake levers are fairly low because of the

Fold let’s just tidy clip that one up obviously riding Position will be finalized as I uh just check that doesn’t do any harm to check anything twice does it uh what’s that rabbit is fairly upright wrong yeah please have a look around what other people have got

Or what you’ve got I’m interested to know what um what you’re using instead of the rabbit I don’t dislike rabbit teers in fact I think they’re fantastic shift of the way they operate but they uh if you get a puncture I we B over and used the

Brake so stive handle barar was 40 in wasn’t it ctive handle bar now is that’s 37 A2 yeah 37 that side 30 well 37 in so centive handle bar is 37 in down from 40 do the maths I think it’s about 3 in they on there and let’s just check the folders We

Are because obviously it doesn’t fold we need to readdress things I’m going so there we go kak mid midrise fitted folded plenty of clearance on the ground plenty of clearance great levers plenty of clearance on the great lever there fully latched in so when we come to ride for the first

Time which won’t be at the moment I might do that in a little while cuz I’ve not burned the tires up we can swing the bars in or out and there’s plenty of room to adjust the breake levers for each so I’m loving that simple minds and simple things guys hey seat

Up handle bars up snatchy snatchy job done there it is there we go the Aesthetics of the kuzak midrise bars on the b75 first R going to another video cuz I’m going to try to keep videos down this is 10 minutes if you like what you’ve seen enjoy what you’ve seen please click

The like please subscribe for the next installment thank you for watching guys not your Madness mad as y thank you

    1. Hi Andrew. Very interested to hear your thoughts on riding with the new bars. I’m about to order one for my A Line.
Great video by the way. Keep em coming

    2. Thanks for sharing.
Changing relative position seating/peddking/gripping even small amounts, as you no doubt know, will change the feel of the ride greatly.
Hope the new set up proves a comfortable change.
No reply necessary, I will look out for a follow up "try out" vid from you. Always a pleasure to watch.
      Best regards Colin

    3. Great instructional video Andrew, I’ve been after some JK high rise bars but haven’t been able to get any so ordered some copies and will be fitting them soon. I don’t want to lower them hope it works well for you

    4. Enjoyed the video, thanks Andrew. I would like to order a pair of those bars but I can't seem to find them online. Can you please let me know where you purchased yours? 😊

    5. I have Korean, JK headset cups (Ceramic Balls), and a "Super Hard", JK suspension block (You are also able to buy one from wood!), for less flex in the frame when riding the bike (You loose power from the suspension and a Brompton is a really horrible bike on the small, hard rolling wheels before that!). And a Brompton shaped, carbon M handlebar for less weight.
My Flame Painted bike was originally a "Black Version" when bought in 2019, so the color isn't a problem by that, as also my black titanium, Brompton shaped seat post.
And I have changed near all discs, bolts, nuts, and front axle on my bike to Chinese parts from titanium (For now my much former than 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton (with Mudguards as a Rainy Dane), is changed down to around 8,5 kilo!
I expect to come below 8 kilo when finished?
And China, Korea and Taiwan has made an Industry out of supplying less horrible parts for a Brompton (The scratches from the handling are "Notorious", and you are – easily able to buy near "Finished Sets" of Extra Protection for all the known week spots on the bike, from China)!
As a First I gave my bike a full "Autopolish" all over from new, and found the one Clear Tape, 😬"Protection" from the Factory, nearly worn through to the – paint after Two Folds! So I went to a Chinese Webshop to find the parts I needed, and with ease, as they have been known near from start I suppose? Finn. Denmark
