Welcome to the evrc where I’m signing off with my last video of the Year 2023 has been an awesome year for the channel in terms of Channel growth but also the fact that we’ve been looking enough to test out a lot of good ebikes 2023 has seen some fantastic bikes grace these

Parts but also a few not so great ones oh sh so in this video we’ll look at four of the best budget ebikes I reviewed taking price and performance into account and two of the worst the most expensive good one is £108 but there’s an absolute bargain at

£699 there’ll be no tiny bikes on this list they’re all full-sized proper bikes that you won’t feel like a clown on we’ll also take a brief look towards 2024 where there will be plenty more to come and one extra special bike that I’m extremely excited about trying so let’s

Kick off with the gai GN 29 which is a pretty normal looking M bike style ebike it’s got 21 gears and a 7 50 W 48v HB motor that was very strong indeed it’s capable of 30 mph With a Little Help from you and he’s great at climbing

Hills a 100 kg Rider like myself could get about 40 m range and that’s going up hills and using the top speed mode if you use a lower speed and pedal more and don’t do heels you’ll get way more than that it’s very impressive indeed it’s

899 and now it’s time for the first of my least favorite bikes of 20203 now I need to own up to something this bike actually isn’t that bad don’t worry the other worst bike is but this one just really annoyed me it’s the enu C20 Pro which actually looked great it also went

Pretty far in the range test and is a nice option for those wanting a folding bike but maybe not one as big as your usual Fat Tire is bikes it’s got 3in wide tires so chunky but not too chunky it’s a handy bike if you want to get it

Into your boot a lot or onto a canal barge or something like that so why have I said it’s one of the worst well that Bloody suspension really P me off it works but it’s not adjustable and it is very very clangy well I wouldn’t say

Clangy in this case it’s more like it goes duck duck duck the bike has since been upgraded though with lockable front suspension and since that was my only real issue with the bike it’s actually a great deal now at £ 861 if you’ve got it don’t worry you

Have got a decent bike it’s just that suspension that annoyed me but don’t worry my actual worst bike of 2023 is one I definitely would not recommend but first let’s see another couple of good ones here is probably the best folding ebike of 2023 that’s the pivi z20 plus

1000 I’ve spoken about this bike a lot recently but that’s because it’s so good we put it up against probably the best budget folding ebike for 2022 the engu engine Pro and it’s fair to say it wiped the floor with it not bad for a bike that’s badged as 250 wats that’s right

This Beast can be locked to 15.5 mph and no throttle or you can let it loose and get close to 30 mph on it you might be thinking but hang on you can do that with any powerful ebo but the difference here is because the website says 250 WS

It’s almost like evidence just in case you ever need it it’s got fantastic torque for carrying loads and going uphills it’s fast comfortable with its dual suspension and at108 with my code it may be the most expensive on the list but it’s also amazing value compared to

Similarly speced ebikes oh and it’s got hydraulic brakes wa and now to the cheapest of my favorite ebikes of 2023 the bodywell a26 and this one is had a recent price cut it’s got £200 off and now it’s only £699 unlike say the PIV z20 Pro so not

The plus I’ve just mentioned but the cheaper Pro that’s the one from the video where I went through all the back alleys of wolver hamson and I was fearing for my life the bicycle mode satinav was taking me to places I’d only ever read about in the Newspapers oh want me to get in there all right it doesn’t use cut price Parts like the noname Shimano gear set to get that low when I reviewed the a26 I was impressed with just how wellmade the bike seemed the gears and brakes work well out of the box and the 250 W

36v Motor was solid it’s not the biggest motor and it doesn’t unlock like the others to basically become a moped the bike is a genuine 250 W legal ebike although it does have an optional throttle that you can purchase for a little extra it’s an unassuming bike one

That wouldn’t have you targeted by anyone really if you want a commu a bike that goes under the radar then at under £700 you can’t really go wrong with the a26 and now the most disappointing ebike of 2023 this is the bezio x1500 it’s a really gorgeous looking ebike with so

Many awesome features but one of those features and it’s probably the main feature and the main reason you’re thinking about buying the bike isn’t quite as it seems so stay tuned to find out what it is yes it’s the bezio X1500 a bike that I was so excited about when bezio offered to send it it sold as a 1,500 W monster which at the time would have been the most powerful ebike I’d tried but it wasn’t the power underwhelmed and its Hill Climb Time up Sandy Lane was frankly disappointing it

Was such a shame as its striking yellow paint job and big fat tires got it looks wherever I went but the power just didn’t match those looks it turned out that although the motor was to be able to cope with 1,500 W of power the battery and the controller only

Generated 624 wats which isn’t really that much more than your average 250 W badged ebike I would have loved to have changed the controller but the battery capacity wasn’t that great either so it would have just killed the range it was a double shame because bezio wanted to
