I was hopping on my trusty Brompton, minus the usual luggage weight, I was blown away by its newfound agility. Every pedal stroke was a burst of fun as I zipped through the bustling streets.
And what streets they were! Turin’s city center was alive, overflowing with laughter and chatter from people spilling out of cafes and restaurants.
Just when I thought the surprises were done, I stumbled upon a sight that stopped me in my tracks: a salsa festival in full swing, a fiesta of local Peruvian community swaying to the rhythm of Casino Rueda. Talk about unexpected cultural immersion!
My stomach, however, began to rumble, pulling me away from the dancing frenzy. McDonald’s beckoned, a familiar comfort. But alas, Italian McDonald’s just don’t cut it. High prices and a sad excuse for a ham and cheese bun left me feeling disappointed. Defeated, I turned my wheels towards the river, hoping for better luck. And then, it happened. My favorite house music tune, floating across the water, drew me to stop and listen.
Still hungry, I ended up at the ever-reliable Burger King, which delivered its usual: a big, satisfying burger and decent fries, all at a reasonable price.
Back in my hotel, my head buzzed with the day’s experiences. The grueling bike ride, the surprising lightness of my Brompton, the salsa explosion, the McDonald’s letdown, the club’s musical rescue, and finally, the burger king’s salvation.

EuroVelo 8 (EV8), named the Mediterranean Route, is a 7,560 km long EuroVelo long-distance cycling route running from Cadiz, Spain to Athens, Greece, and then continuing to Ä°zmir, Turkey and to the island of Cyprus. The route runs east-west across Europe mainly along or close to the Mediterranean coast, passing successively through 12 countries: Spain, France, Monaco, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Albania, Greece, Turkey, and Cyprus

Some kind of uh Square looks very lovely then I was amazed by the Lively evening streets of toine bustling with people outside cafes and restaurants I haven’t feel such vibrant atmosphere in long time man this place is alive not exactly my cup of coffee but uh it’s uh
Interesting just to stand here and uh watch people because it’s very Lively a lot of tourists a lot of locals and now we are going to check this uh cedal or Something check this out that’s Incredible To my amazement another surprise awaited me as I stumbled upon on a salza festival organized by the local Peruvian community and that’s the S party nice [Applause] The square interin was alive with people dancing Casino Rua adding a festival touch to the evening it was so [Applause] amazing I’m I’m [Applause] I’m I would never expect to beet a Peruan party at the square Ino this is so crazy guys and people are actually enjoying it so man so far this city is so unique there’s so much to see and I have yet to explore even a small bit of this
Town feeling hungry I rode to the nearest McDonald’s hoping for a quick meal however I was disappointed by the high prices and limited options McDonald’s in Italy is such a let down I’ll try to find an open supermarket and uh yeah go around because there’s always something to See what do I hear Here maybe someone Bing singing for money might be let’s check this out yeah there’s the lady singing with AAR she’s good so this seems like a main shopping Avenue that are all expensive Brands you can Imagine Seems like there something there’s food lounge yeah about supermarkets I was in careful Express they are only careful Express in the city center everything is so expensive man like something that would cost in uh rural areas €2 then here is the double the price so I’m going to

Hungry in the end I found my way to Burger King a reliable choice for medium priced big burger with decent price it was a nice wrap up of the evening oh well in burer King the price is almost the same as McDonald’s they have bacon King 3.0 I want
Menus sandwiches so I got clean bacon fries with cheddar and bacon again with Cola for € 12 it’s kind of expensive if you consider the size of the meal definitely I had bigger size meals when I was in Spain in MAA in in Visa so so
Far in Italy just don’t eat uh fast food just get your pizza or something well fries are definitely better than McDonald’s they are more bacon and CHS as well yeah but I’m hungry so I’ll take it so let’s check the sandwich and you can see that this is uh
