    1. This is beautiful! It will be my first time in Norway and I would love to do this. Can you tell me which company you booked with? What was the cost for this trip? Thanks!

    2. In my opinion it's better to buy a one way ticket from Flam to Myrdal and then pick the bikes up at Myrdal. You can leave them in Flam whebbyoure done

    3. The train from Flam to Myrdal costs about 40 Euros one way. In Myrdal there is a cafe (Cafe Rallaren) you can rent bikes there , it costs about 35 Euros. You go down with the bike and leave it at the train station. We were real careful when biking on the hairpins, we literally walked down them but afterwards it is easy and amazingly enjoyable. We went with the first train which was at 7.35 so while we were biking down we saw very few people. This is a 'must-be-done' adventure!!

    4. Is this section doable with a touring/gravel bike? We are planning a bikepacking trip in September and would like to do the Finse-Myrdal route with our gravel bikes. Any advice is welcome!

    5. I as wondering if this is doable with a 8 year old. My daughter is used to cycle since we live in the Netherlands, but she's not used to cycling in the mountains at all…
