Had sep cus here now sep doesn’t really win One Day races that’s not really in his in his wheelhouse there but W van art I mean we know W van art wins one day races classic highend we’re talking about gravel they’re going to race on

The gravel yeah I know it got cut short because of the storms so there’s less gravel sections but how does Vima Leisa bike lose a race like classic a highend that’s really what I want to cover on today’s beyond the coverage let’s get into the race a little bit now the

Cameras will come on about 65 km to go we see a breakaway up there and there most important that you want to pay attention to are the three big teams up there the cathlon ag2r in that group they have Nicola Pome in there you UAE te memores they have arieta in that

Group and then of course M Star I told you he wins that’s Lano now with those three writers in that group if I take you all the way back to the start of classic highend let’s look at how many big teams are really in this race well

The cathlon in the race M stars in the race UAE team Emirates are in the race that’s three of them in the front group right now that means that’s three big teams that can’t pull in the back so who’s left in the back the really big

Teams that can do some damage well viz m bike they’re on the front right now pulling that’s Robert hessin on the front Okay now we start looking back behind that you have Team Enos inos aren on the front because viz molisa bike have the golden Ace right while vanart

He should be able to win when we start looking away from those five teams though the only other third team back there is Lotto maybe they have some depth they can do something amazing maybe maybe not we all know Lotto they’re not even a world tour team now

Right they got bumped out of it so sometimes they have a team that can perform with the top best best riders in the world classic got highend it’s not going to be their day today so really we’re left with five six teams Max and three of them are in the front group and

Then there’s going to be mistakes made all over that’s going to start with about 50 kilometers to go when w van art Flats okay wild Flats but if I back the camera up just about a k or two before that is Tim van djk who is riding the

Front hardcore he gets dropped as they’re coming up into the first real gravel section that W vanard is going to Flat into later now per strand he’s going to give the wheel to W vanard that’s the second mistake first mistake was the flat you really can’t fix that

So we’ll bump it to the first mistake is that perran is taking off his back wheel W’s taking off his back wheel this is wasting a lot of time now why are they changing wheels just change bikes have the big guy W van art jump on per

Strand’s bike and start riding as fast as he possibly can they’re both big guys visually when I look at the back of the camera and looking at that angle it looks doable to me I think W could ride this bike the reason they can’t wait for

The car is because of all the chaos coming into the first gravel section their car might have been pushed too far back and of course it’s so narrow it can’t pass to be able to get up there to service while van art okay the next problems start happening quickly though

After the wheel change that wheel change was done remarkably fast but I still think you should have switched bikes that would have saved 15 seconds probably right there while it would have been back on the bike you change later with the cars at another point in time

In the bike race now what’s happening when you’re looking at the pelaton they’re going full Grass full gas cuz they’re on the gravel right now so they’re not even thinking like w van ard’s flatted they’re going full gas just fighting for position 100% no doubt about it we see one teammate back there

That ends up being Tim vanik who got dropped 1K before 2K before the flat tire there W vanart and he’s riding the front for w now now he’s going full gas but remember this kid’s already been going full gas he’s already gotten dropped there’s no way when I’m sitting

On the Chester Field that I’m thinking Tim van djk you’re going to pull W van art back up to this front group once I see Mo star fully on the front now M Star I understand why they’re getting on the front they’re looking at this situation they’re saying W’s gone that’s

The big time favorite here if we can get rid of w we can win we can win with Carlos Rodriguez we can win with Michael kakosi maybe so we’re GNA put Ben on the front Ben Turner we’re going to put Omar Fry on the front and we’re going to

Drive it as hard as we can CU we’re going to try to keep W vanard off on off the back but now what’s the problem with this remember if we go back to beginning of the story I told you maybe six six top teams here lot’s not one of them

That leaves you with five three are still up the road right so that means that you lost a fourth because sep cus and of course Yan tratnik are in that front group but they’re not going to help pull with their teammate W who’s about 30 seconds behind chasing full gas

Trying to get back up to this front group so Enos they’re sitting on the front now and they’re not going to get any help right UAA team Emirates are yet e getting dropped somewhere about now but he hasn’t fully come off and so UAE te memor aren’t going to help

Pull of course like I said Yo’s not going to help pull moar in this group of 20 they’re not going to help pull they got two guys in this group and so when you start looking at four inos the group’s only 20 guys 20 guys strong four

Enos four UA te mems they’re sitting on the movie star riters two of them are sitting on the two viz M Lisa bite guys SE cus Yan tratnik they’re sitting on so they’re not going to help pull the other guys are stragglers from small teams so

They’re not going to pull so anos got four guys only two can pull cuz you got to save two to go to do something when you start attacking so you got two guys trying to chase a break that’s at three minutes of at least two or three guys I

Don’t remember if arietta had gotten dropped yet but I believe he’s still hanging on or he’s stuck in the middle that’s why UA team Emirates won’t start pulling back there so when you look at it it starts becoming a kind of a nightmare here for even for Enos because

The Situation’s not looking too ideal you have the Breakaway up the road of at least two strong guys Nicholas Pome and of course lascano who’s going full gas from moar those two guys are putting on quite a show there and Arad is doing what he can but with that Gap up there

Of around three minutes and only two guys back there the pool you can’t do much damage okay you start thinking well when Michael kakosi attacks or Carlos Rodriguez attacks maybe they’ll get the Gap they’ll get some help from behind and they’ll start pulling but remember

You have M Star Riders behind so if you attack you got to get rid of M star or if you attack you got to hope that Yambo visma sep cus and Yan tratnik start pulling and we don’t know if they’re going to start pulling unless W van art

Completely shuts off the gas and quits now eventually W van Art’s going to quit and eventually with about 30 kmet to go we’re going to see Yan tratnik attack Yan tra is going to attack it’s going to get brought back then sep cus is going to attack the problem with sep cush’s

Move is of course he has moar Rider in that group I believe it’s canal in that front group but I could be wrong and then of course the second riter in that group is the the cathlon rider that’s tran tran is in this group and he’s not

Going to pull cuz he has Pome up in the front group and like I said M Star is not going to pull because they have Lano in that front group so this group of five six writers right here with Jon tratnik sep cus Michael kakosi they got

Company sitting on it’s not going to make a two and a half Gap two and a half minute Gap now to the front Breakaway guys cuz too many guys are sitting on getting a free ride this all started when we go back to the flat tire from W

Vanard or if we go all the way back to the start when I told you there’s only six big teams and they let three into the front group there so now there’s they’re not there to work now if I take you all the way back to the flat tire

That wal van art had what really went wrong here well like I said he didn’t change bikes that was the first one second one Tim van djk got there he’s already done cooked his legs are finished did a fantastic gr I’m sure to keep the break where it was but he’s

Done the next big move though sep cus Yan tratnik need to jump out of that group of favorites up there and go back for the big guy wal van art cuz he’s your only ace card we look at the resume Yan tratnik certainly good Rider wins

Bike races but he’s not favored to win here at Classic highend sep cus he won the jur oh sorry seep cus he won the Bal to espania I won the Bal to espania I can tell you with my form of winning the Bal to espania I’m not a great candidate

To win this kind of race even with that form cuz it’s a one-day race and everyone around except have big time speed when you compare him to the ameran their best card is W van Ard when he’s 20 seconds back there as soon as Tim van djk was started pulling with with wal

Van art sep cus yon tratnik need to ride through the gravel section slow and easy save the legs after wel Flats finish riding through the gravel section nice and easy but now you’re off the back once the gravel section finishes and you get on the on the pavement there while

Van Arts arried with Tim van djk you got a fourman team for Vima Lisa bike if you can’t close the gap of 30 seconds you weren’t going to win cuz remember when you look at the front you a Emirates won’t ride moaar is not going to ride

And the cathlon the riders in that front group aren’t going to ride so it’s only Enos Enos have four guys like I already told you only two can ride if you’re only riding two and you look at the back and you say wow we got four Vima Lisa

Bikes back here sep could ride Yan tratnik could ride Tim van dijk’s going to ride much longer than he did did with the help of the other two Riders and W gets to sit on and close the gap now most likely they close that Gap I think

100% when I’m sitting on the Chester Field I say this Gap is closed 100% when you look that you’re only chasing four Enos guys on the front and only two can pull maybe maybe some of the smaller teams get on the front but who’s got the

Numbers to get on the front you have to have at least two but more preferably more like three to put someone on the front so most likely no one’s going to get on the front just like we really saw at the race now we get into the moment

Where sep cus and everyone backs off the throttle and then we start seeing the tack up front from Lano he’s going to go with just over 10 kilometers to go he’s going to go solo and he’s going to go with about a minute gap on the group

Behind we see SE Kus gets up there up there he’s got Yan tratnik Tim wellin from UAE team emirat are up there because they finally caught arietta who did some work on the front when there’s still four UA team Emirates so now Tim wellin is up in that front group with SE

Cush he’s pulling through too but the de cathlon Rider he’s like troan he’s like I’m not going to pull I got my teammate up there of course Yan tratnik arguing back there with Tran about pulling and trying to do his work under 10 kilometers to go because he’s saying hey

Nicholas pom’s already gotten dropped but troan saying I got a guaranteed second if you guys don’t catch him and if you do catch him I got fresh his legs here out of the three of you guys in front because there’s only Tim willins rotating through SE cus doesn’t have a

Whole lot of speed y tratnik already been missing pulls and stuff like that and arguing with tan so Tan’s like either we get second with Nicholas Pome and we’re one of the smaller World Tour teams so we’ll be happy with that or you guys got to pull me to the front and I’m

Going to beat you guys in the Sprint well there was big- time mistakes made throughout this race and viz M Lisa bike made a lot of them all the time when I’m looking at it big time mistakes and that’s how lasan from movar got a fantastic win here at the classic

Highend you have to know going into a stage like today’s classic high highend that when you only see six big teams and you’re going to let three in the front group and lot’s not that big of a team here that only leaves you two maybe some third team jumps on the front somewhere

Along the way most likely it won’t happen if you have W vanard on your team and you’re called viz M Lisa bike and you won everything last year including Gerald daala tour to France and of course they won the Walter espan with SE cus so when you’re riding against a team

Like VI molisa bike Before the Race even starts you got got to look at your cards you got to say wow six big teams we don’t want these big teams in the move one gets in the move maybe two gets in the move maybe if moar is not in that

Front move 100% moar will work with you if UA mimit isn’t in that front group you think they’re not going to work when they have a Uso back there and Tim wellin they’re certainly going to work so if you even keep one of the three teams out of that front group now you

Got another team to start working and to be able to close these gaps but visma bike made a big time mistake cuz they just didn’t calculate for chasing such a group like that and then they didn’t calculate wow if we change bikes right here with per strand with W van art all

Of a sudden he doesn’t lose that time and we have him right back to the back of the Pelon again or if you do change the wheels like you do pull sep cus and Yan tratnik out of this group because the only ace card at the classic aen the

Only ace card that started this race his name’s wal van art so you save every body for w van art if I take you guys all the way back to last year’s glasow Road World Championships remember when Kristoff leaport when he flatted and there was only Julian ala Philip waiting

For him early when they got under the circuits there of Glasgow Kristoff leaport was the French team’s only ace card there is no other card to play you drop the whole French team if the whole French team can’t get Kristoff leaport back onto the back of the pelaton you

Weren’t going to win anyways if you’re at Classic highend and you can’t drop the whole team back to get wal van art back on after a flat tire you probably weren’t going to win anyways and when you started racing with six top teams and you let half of them in the front

Group and the other onethird of those teams called Lotto you’re probably not going to win if something bad happens during the race to your Ace card and you don’t handle it perfectly that’s my take up here on beyond the coverage I hope you guys like the little details I bring
