This year Christof and I visited Island on quite different bicycles. While I took my standard travel bike (2.0″” Schwalbe Marathon), Christof took his new FatBike with 26×4.6″ tires. And it was obvious that his bike came with some advantages in this rough terrain. We even had some river crossing in quite deep water streaming down from the glacier. And yes, in case you wonder, … it was cold 😉
