When something goes wrong on my bike ride to one of my favourite places in Portugal, Guincho, and it turns into an unexpected surprise. Eventually I make it to my desired destination but it was a journey that caused my heart to flutter!

Not changing anything or you go exactly how it goes So little freaked out right now I was just biking down the street we were on our way to Rocio these two guys just came out right in front of my bike and one guy was really tall crazy shouting furious and he was chasing I don’t know I think maybe Torres who
Chasing him into a bar and then I saw them running to the bar the taller guy grabbed the table and smashed it and then went and grabbed a bunch of bottles started smashing them throwing them around the guy who’s dating have picked up the chair and
You know me and I shouted like somebody call the police call 9-1-1 here is 1 1 2 they called the police like 20 minutes ago no please I think the guy’s okay um a really nice Portuguese person picked the guy up the guy who’s being chased and his Farah and
They drove off and then the other guy he wasn’t in a right state of mind so there you have it that was the first thing that happened that day I just wanted to make clear that that is not a fair representation of all of Portugal Portugal is actually really really safe
And in all of the countries that I’ve lived in it’s one of the places that I felt the safest actually the reason I ended up in that neighborhood was because a friend of mine rosa.she posted on Instagram that there is a tattoo convention in Lisbon I thought wow why the hell not [Applause] right so we’re not a Geisha it’s obvious we found ourselves at a tattoo convention I’m about to get one and so I’m thinking maybe here I was thinking here So I’m wandering around waiting for Rosa to get all set up so we can get tattooed and yeah I found myself in this awesome place like it’s awfully incredible it’s it’s a place for artists it’s really clear I met Rose a few months ago at LX
Factory and she just she was such a warm soul she was so sweet any time I meet a tattoo artist like that and I just click sometimes I don’t really care what it is I get tattooed but you’ll always have that memory of that person or that day
Today’s been a crazy day but nobody’s half of that and it’s she said something really interesting that when you get a tattoo you really have to trust in the person who’s doing the tattoo like that’s going to be stuck on you for the rest of your life like how can you make
That kind of a commitment I can’t even commit to a job but I can commit to something on my skin it’s a piece of art that will always be with me Okay so if I’ve learned anything from today you can’t make yourself commit to something well at least I can’t the plan was to go to gameshow Beach we ended up getting tattoos we had a crazy situation that guy freaking out and basically what I learned is that I need to stop being
So hard on myself and if I can make a life commitment with the tattoo I can let go and be okay with other commitments not going through I need to commit to myself to just be okay with what I decide so even though I couldn’t

Was flooded in or something I’m not sure I couldn’t access it so now I’m biking along the highway I would bike on the highway but to be perfectly honest the drivers here in Portugal kind of scare me kind of intimidate me and they never leave you a lot of space like so what
I’m gonna do is I’m just gonna follow this sidewalk I’ve never come this far on my bike last time I thought back to quebrada and then I took the train to the end because I wasn’t sure if there was a path so today we’re gonna find out I’m just gonna
