    SCIONZIER, FRANCE — U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry broke his right leg in an accident while cycling a portion of the Tour de France route near Scionzier, France on Sunday and is returning to the United States, according to a Reuters report citing his spokesman.

    Confirmed that Kerry fractured his right femur because the fracture is near the site of a prior hip surgery Kerry will be transported to Massachusetts General Hospital for further treatment
