Today I’ll take you to what must be one of the most beautiful countries in Europe; Slovenia with some fun facts thrown in for good measure!
To be exact this is the L’Etape Slovenia Tržič Kranj course!

Hello right today I’m going to take you to Slovenia and to the letap Slovenia course and with all honesty too I try to learn how to pronounce the rest of the names but I’m not going to do any justice for it so I just leave it for
Somebody um else to do to do that with all honesty to you but it’s going to be a good CA because it’s a cause of the day so uh there is over 200 Riders currently on the road so again uh you need a little bit of motivation that’s where you find it uh
Whether you want to be overtaken or or or just overtake so uh it’s a 26.7 8 87 km um course has 361 M of climbing and hopefully it won’t take me more than um than 51 minutes or 50 minutes let’s say the average slope is just around um 1%
But the max maximum slope is 21 so it’s going to be Steep and hopefully short as well so quite looking forward for this one actually because what I saw when I when I was watching other Riders it should be really really picturess this
Uh this course and um uh and so on so it should be really good um good as it’s dark outside and uh and so on so it should be all right um but I will uh keep you close when I get On Right what can I say when I when I said that it will have a uh the course will have a 21 uh% ramp and by the looks of it it’s around kilome in into the course so if this would be a race and you would have not been warmed up
Properly uh you’re not going to like this bit for a bit uh so my target is I’m just roll it Up 19% currently silver did a really good job on the up as well this in the me now is going to be it’s all good there are building is 34 seconds isar to like could be 0% 21 That was Hard but if it this would be a race I would definitely prefer the hardest climb uh to be in the be beginning of the course do you agree if you do just drop me a comment below cuz then now I would be hopefully rolling with flat and catching up for uh
The lighter riders in front of me but it’s all good it’s all good right on the second kind of climb 2 km in currently 10% rolling through through some sort of town or a village it is really stunning you can see the mountains in the distance and and and so on and did
You by the way know that Slovenia has more than 10,000 caves that’s a lot of caves also the longest game uh runs around 20 km whoever actually measured that would be good to know anyway more final facts coming on your way soon after around 2.7 km in you
Can uh enjoy a quite longish Town Hill section uh where you can gather some speed and feel for it so it’s lovely a Forester Road lots of green and so on so it’s all Good got to love a little town Hill section don’t you just approaching to another foresty bit on the course 7K is in now and uh if you go to Slovenia you just need to be aware that uh Slovenia has 60% uh of the total area is is com for forest
And it has over thousand bears in it so you need to consider when you’re riding unless you want to get a strong km you know what I mean ah but there’s another fun fact for you uh if you didn’t Know GI bradi and the last kilometer of this race for the today is now at 13% you to UC the there was a downhill bit so short that I completely missed that there’s a stra segment called bazeli which is 1.4 km long quite straight from the start and then
Uh after the Happ in it levels out so currently only on 11% so uh it probably feels a little bit longer uh than it actually is but it’s hard is one of leaders in this R EAS Iden those been moved 12 star and the truth is beginning of this
Season on a personal level I’m pretty happy and somebody called natur Rock has just overtaken me 5 wats per kilo Beast come on let’s cat You Pressure make TR keep just got dropped I currently around 13 km in so all the climbing is uh in the beginning of the of the course which is actually what I prefer to be very honest some very beautiful uh country Lo roads and then uh right through Villages and small towns and
Currently on a long downhill a bit which is quite nice and refreshing after the uh over almost 300 M of climbing so it’s it’s uh it’s all good so far fast cornering and hopefully I catched a couple of other Riders as well so as I started with the fun facts about
Slovenia and to be very honest I have no idea why I did but it’s definitely country for me because there is a wineyard uh for every 70 people that sounds like heaven oh
