Doesn’t look that weird to me. I have a positive stem on my single speed also – it just makes more sense to be able to ride more upright and be more traffic aware / have easier visibility in an urban setting. It might not get the same number of “cool points” from the kids but I’m not riding on a velodrome here, I’m in traffic and paying attention to pedestrians and the like.

That’s very similar to my ride. I have the positive stem and on top of that, my hoods are rotated up a bit. Once I got over making my bike look like a race bike, long distance comfort improved.
