To put Lion’s e-bike and both our legs to the test, we took to the Mangart Pass in the Slovenian Alps. What an absolutely amazing climb this is, so steep, but also so beautiful!

    1. Realy beautiful Video again! Thank you very much!
You can be grateful and happy, that your girlfried is doing this with you (only her gray socks are not my taste) 😉

    2. Hi, can you recommend any fixed crit for amateurs in Netherlands?
I recently moved here, want to try something new and see how competitive I am.
      Thank you

    3. Those prebuilt e-bikes are a waste of money. That 250w motor only negates the weight of the battery and the motor itself. You are better of with a carbon bike than that overweight underpowered e-bike.

    4. i am slovenian and i climb on Mangart road few times on my allmoutain and freeride 18kg bike , last km is a little hard but scenery is realy nice , iam glad you enjoy …

    5. This has quickly become my favorite cycling channel on YT. I really don't get how you only have 18k subscribers. Please, don't stop producing new content. Do you have Patreon, or something of the sort? I understand that these videos take time and resources to produce. I like that I can enjoy it for free but I'm eager to contribute. Good job, Martijn.

    6. "I am suffering" as you can see she clearly is not. Well, she is cute anyway. She could least get acting lessons. Just kidding. Now I am suffering. 🙂

    7. Gave video in elkaar gezet mannen!!! Respect 🤘🏻 toch gaaf dat je vriendin mee gaat op dit soort tochten. En viel het haar mee achteraf gezien met de e bike?

    8. Glad you liked it. Next time do the loop. Start in Kranjska gora, cross Vršič pass, go down to Trenta valley and then toward Mangart pass. After descent (up to bridge) turn right, go to Italy (Tarvisio) and do the loop via tarmac cycling path (ex railway road) to Kranjska gora. It gets arround 2.900 m of climbing and 110 km of riding. Spoiler alert: On north side of Vršič pass you have really badass scenery of steep mountains.

Try it next time. Highly recomended! All the best and safe rides to all of you.
