Toy Columbia stage 4 let’s not mess around 2K to go petrolite boy is off the front aana are here to win the race aana have a really good lead out today they changed it round moov uh not last wheel instead he was uh with like third man

And uh the last man before Cav was uh case bow sorry for this mouse it’s not mine uh but this is the only stream I could really find that looked decent so anyway lenko is in second wheel he’s looking very strong as well Petro like boy no worries so really if you actually

Look at Cavendish everyone is trying to be on his wheel so you got people like bonao you got Restrepo for Colombian national team youve got gav who obviously won the other Sprint stage so they’re they’re real Keen to try and get on his wheel you watch bernal’s M

Bananas moves uh in a minute with Bona fat you’re here hopping around which is pretty crazy but anyway what you can see uh is that it’s not actually going that quick and Estonia I got them wrong last time Estonia have the best lead out apart from estana maybe the best lead

Out so they’re on the right hand side of the road here uh the Sprinter did okay uh sorry his name I’m just G up Norman vatra uh they’ve got some decent Riders like Martin L and stuff but anyway getting in towards the end of the race

You can see this guy’s pulled off now we have lenko on the front lenko is looking strong here he is really strong he’s obviously just riding that Estonian guy off as wheel the Estonian gu is trying to keep up and he just can’t so he’s pulled off Estonian now only have two so

It’s basically like no stress a have the best lead out so it’s really just like will any be able to come off Cav’s wheel you can see here um lenko is still pulling really strong morkov gets on the front now and mov I don’t think maybe is

In the best condition which is why he’s gone a little bit earlier but anyway he leading out here no worries again he can get everyone else so everyone’s now fighting for Cav’s wheel then K ball goes chow chow let’s let’s go and just starts launching it Cav’s looking around

He’s pretty nervous gavia goes on the left hand side of him or right hand side as we look straight bit close on the barriers but to honest C just had that um we’ll see a couple more replays in the overhead shot um but yeah anyway

What we can see is that Cav can beat cabir which is good uh I don’t think it shows a lot this race but it doesn’t show nothing either like it’s good he’s one it’s altitude doesn’t resume him too well maybe but Cal still looking good lead out is getting perfected which I

Guess is the main thing they looked a lot better today with case bow and I actually think case bow is a really good lead out man as as the last one he got a little stick for it in the tour last year I actually don’t think he does that

Bad but you can see so here we have the helicopter shot and you can see caseb is a really good lead out when C comes off his wheel he’s definitely the fastest G goes on his side I think it’s touch and go but to be honest the probably Gap

Wasn’t there I don’t think C actually moved he moved right if anything he didn’t move left so I actually think that’s like fair enough just one of those things um gav didn’t have enough space and it’s not c c doesn’t need to let him out C just needs to sprit

Straight uh but yeah them two look pretty similar I reckon um but anyway cheers for watching hope you enjoy this video and I’ll see you in the next one also this is a wild finish

    1. Mediocre win against a couple of 2nd/3rd tier sprinters. Gaviria has a decent win at Romandie 2 yrs ago, and a couple early season "crap" wins – that's about it. All you Cav fanboys shouldn't get to excited.

    2. A travesty of justice. Yet again the filthy sprinter, Cavendish, stopped the glorious, talented and righteous, Fernando Gaviria, from completing his victorious sprint. The English will do any dirty trick in order to snatch victory from the true winner of the race. I call for an inquiry into the illegal tactics of this notorious cheat, known as Marco Cavandisho…….

    3. Cav can beat anyone, on his day. You could say that it’s his lead out that has got him into a position to win for the last couple of years, but that is a credit to how he earns the support and quality of the guys around him too and how he makes such good use of the team around him to get to the line in the best spot possible.

    4. Forget the TDF! The team has to get there first. This has been an incredible start to the season, these 4 stages. Of importance, you see the difference in winning sprints as opposed to the close losses in the TDF last year where the computers proved Cav had the most powerful, fastest finishes. His Team didn't have him in the right place at the end. This will go a long, long way in the Confidence dept for Astana. But each stage brings its own dangers. As a long, long time Cav fanatic, trust me you've got to have patience and always take things one stage at a time. Today, as in 2008, he's still the fastest sprinter that ever sat a bicycle seat. Cheers! (The most important aspect of this stage is actually what the team accomplished getting him over the hills. Hell, the first 3rd of the race was uphill!)

    5. My prediction is Cav going to win a stage in tdf! plus Olympic gold and World Championship before calling it a career! 2024 is going to be year of the Dish!!!!

    6. Gaviera gave up if not he takes both down. If you notice he was smiling in the photo finish. I’m not saying Gaviera is faster than Mark but you can tell he wasn’t 100% trying. He probably has respect for Cav and wants him to get confidence on his bike/team to win a TDF stage.

    7. The Mørkøv effect. Every sprinter riding with him will Enter the final part In a perfect position. History tells us that. It has allways been like that. More than a handfull of sprinters went from worldclass to more ordinary sprinters after leaving the teams where he is a part of the leadout. He is Call and collected. Just what fast hotheads need. They can unleash their power at the perfect time and place. A recepie for a win.

    8. Thanks for this video. Are Astana going to build the team around Cav and the sprint for the tour? Could we see another dominant team like HTC in the sprint train? The huge sprint days at the tour have lost something in recent years. Can just needs one good sprint in the tour and it would have happened last year had it not been for the chain incident which I still cannot understand.
