In the surroundings of the towns, we can see beautiful landscapes of fields full of vineyards. And they are usually accompanied by wineries that offer tastings of their exceptional wines. High quality white wines are produced here, mostly dry, which stand out for their varietal purity and aromatic character.

Alsatian wines are versatile and can pair well with a variety of foods. Dry Rieslings are ideal for pairing with seafood and fish, while Gewürztraminers can complement spicy dishes or strong cheeses. Here it tells us that this town is fortified with a wall.

Now we turn into a secondary street to better see the authenticity of the town. This area could be defined as German France, although Alsatians consider themselves only Alsatians, neither French nor German. Currently, Turckheim has a population of 3,759 inhabitants.
