    Here is the first episode from our Singapore to the UK bike trip. After months of saving money and planning, it is a strange feeling to finally be starting the journey. We are both feeling so many different emotions, it is difficult to put them all into words.

    We are Adam and Lucia and we are a British couple that have quit our jobs to cycle from Singapore to the UK. We spent 2 years saving for a deposit for a house and decided that life is to short to spend our hard earned money on bricks. Instead, we are planning to spend this money on a life-changing experience and came up with the idea of a long bike trip. We flew to Singapore from the UK and started our return journey by bike on the 9 September 2018, Adam’s 30th birthday.

    We think the journey will take 18 months but who knows. We will be taking it a day at a time.

      Ahh, so amazing!! Got me tearful actually, just got back the thousands of memories of my very similar route i finished just recently. You've just started the best time of your life now. Wishing you endless positivity, be open for nature, and please never ever rush anywhere. Take your time, enjoy the sunrise, the morning tea or coffee, enjoy the ride, always have time for those lovely encounters with locals, wave for locals, get a speaker on the handlebar and sing loud. Locals will love you for it and will be useful to pass the long riding hours. Have time to check out the route of ants each time you sit in the grass 😀

      Oh my god…. The song played by the buskers team is my favourite song 海闊天空!!! It is an amazing trip!!! I have been the trans-Siberia trip last year. I appreciate anyone who takes the first step to the one's journey!!! safe trip^^

      This is awesome!!! One day I will leave from my home (Gold Coast, Australia) and will ride through Singapore to make my way to Athens! What I love about touring is that anybody can do it! Just need the right attitude!
