For Right [Laughter] Sh [Applause] hey everybody this is Jason for the Rogue Banshee and thank you for joining me on the journey to restore this Winchester Golden Spike this is a limited edition Winchester and it actually went through a house fire that’s why this thing was in such a mess
It took a while to to get this thing restored and back into somewhat working condition now I say somewhat working condition because firearms that go through house fires they’re not safe to fire that’s why we’re not firing this also this firearm has been disabled uh
Over here is the actual firing pin I did not put the firing pin back in it so that way it could not be fired there are a couple of Springs that did have to replace and they were brittle they actually broke off in my hand so it’s
Just not safe to do and unfortunately we could not fire it um since we’re not firing it that’s why I 3D printed the um the rear sight lifter here because it’s not going to get fired I’m not I wasn’t worried about buying one so and these
Things are about $20 in total it’s about $600 to restore this rifle this is an unsponsored video this means that this video is sponsored by you the audience monthly donations will go far are with just creating additional content like this even though this is an unsponsored

Excellent work. Thanks for sharing. Love watching restoration videos.
Quite the process. It looks like your time and skills saved a piece of history.👍
How do you treat a 24k gold gun.
It's in a case but I need to know how to?
Keep It shiny.
Whoa
Great video Rouge! Speechless! 🤠👍
Lotta work.
Wow! Amazing restoration! What a process. Very impressed to see the fruits of all that hard work and time.
For your cerekote, do you use a special dryer? Cerekote is one thing I haven’t ventured into yet.
Also, genius using the ultrasonic cleaner. I have been scoping out a cleaner on a couple auction sites and can’t wait to pick one up.
This is a crazy good restore bro 🙌 MGB 🇺🇸
This was great! All that work and it’s not going to be ok to fire?!? Understandable. But great job. It looks awesome!
Looks great, I just wish you vould fire it… 😔
Replace all the springs then fire it in a vise. I have done three house fire firearms and fired them safely.
lots of work and time went into this, great job!

I'm sorry you should have destroyed that rifle. Just a quick look on gunbroker shows five for sale 2/6/24 not an irreplaceable historic firearm. And just removing the firing pin will not make it safe. The next guy sometime in the future will replace it and fire it not knowing it was in a house fire.
