    1. I'm in my 50s, been trail MTBing since 2000 but have really been out of it for the past couple of years due to fitness levels required for trail riding. In April 2023, i bit the bullet on an E2 and it has given me a new lease of riding life. I'm now riding longer, higher and farther than i ever had even when i was in my 30s. It has opened up a world of opportunities to explore places I would have never reached. My last bike was a 26in Yeti ASR-C and in comparison, the E2 rides smooth like a magic carpet and gives me so much confidence tackling technical descents. And i have shed 10kg off my weight, i climb on average 4000m per month, the endurance has come back and every day – i can only think of getting on the bike again every chance i get.

People say I'm cheating – but i always retort that a 18° grade climb is still a monumental effort even with an EP8!

It cost a pretty penny – more than the cheapest car sold in my country – but it's been a hell of a ride. This burly enduro beast is – in comparison – is quite the bargain price wise.
