Something doesn’t quite look right about this as it slopes to one side. Totally unnecessary cycle lanes are being added. The council are totally disrupting businesses.

A regeneration sounds good but where are the decent shops and affordable parking? Also unless you have the right sort of car you are not welcome in the City Centre so people choose to spend their money elsewhere. It's almost as if the Council hates its citizens but knows how to spend money.
Them cobbles are about £1:60 each. So that's probably a couple of hundred grand on paving thatll be put down as cheaply as possible so it'll be fucked in a year or two… They did here in Stoke a few years back and now the city centre is deserted except for junkies and immigrants…
That's most likely because if the don't use all of the councils budget, they will have it lowered the next year.

20yrs ago??? I thought it was about 5 yrs ago they re did it. Maybe that was the moor. But I bet soon as it’s done they be back to dig up odd spot they got wrong then tarmac it. Seems the norm to keep the contractors in a bit of work. 33million is great investment tho to say we still having food banks that are struggling. Priorities sheff council???
