Embark on a genuine road trip through the enchanting landscapes of the South of France in a stylish Corvette. Join me on this adventure as we weave through charming villages, cruise along picturesque coastal roads, navigate the stunning Gorges du Verdon, and conquer the highest road in Europe – Col de la Bonette. But this journey isn’t just about the scenery – it’s about the unexpected twists that make each trip memorable.

Experience the thrill of the road as we encounter the unexpected, including moments like getting stopped by the local police – a story to share and remember. And if that’s not enough, I stumble across a base jump over a bridge by the Verdon Gorge.

No cheesy theatrics, just the genuine joy of exploration, unexpected encounters, and the breathtaking beauty that the South of France has to offer. Buckle up for the ultimate Corvette adventure – where every twist and turn brings a new and exhilarating experience!

I hav’t done anything wrong I wasn’t driving quickly I had the speed at the camera you you you drive in on the on when Uh welcome back to BHP tours for another leg of my European road trip in my Corvette Stingray after exploring sardin just off the coast of Italy and then the beautiful French island of Corsica in my last video I’m back on the mainland driving along the capital of the French Riviera

Nice shamer parked up and missed the velocity yellow Corvette C7 Keen eyes might spot a unique number plate though though don’t think it was him unless he’s growing a ponytail Corvette’s natural home yeah 100 uh2 2 Bater what the fuel price is going down still going still going still

Going if I thought my fuel bills were high though I think it’s probably even worse for this Italian Supercar a lime green Lamborghini hurricane 5.2 L naturally aspirated V10 off memory loving the line green Mid Engine rear drive just like the Corvette what a car the Lamborghini has

A smaller engine 5.2 compared to the Corvette 6.2 talking 610 versus 480 so it just shows you the potential there I know the Z06 I think has 650 horsepower let’s get out of the city and a bit higher Up let’s get the ass out a bit what a road D6 yes please check for obstacle and we got It this V8 is biblical oh what a view this mountain range is the Alp maritim and is the southernmost part of the Alps bordering the Cod I’m then shortly after greeted with a breathtaking green background with plants grass and trees everywhere you look the road is really well paved and it’s totally devoid of traffic it honestly feels like you’re stepping back in time it’s Wonderful and then you arrive at a corner and just power your way through it other times you arrive slower and slide your way around [Applause] On your right foot that naturally aspirated V8 guide you through the scenery at times is just breathtaking other time just want to gun it ah here we go again one in front one behind they really don’t want me to get away I haven’t done anything wrong I wasn’t driving quickly I had a speed at the camera you you you drive in on the on the leg when uh despite my annoyance I think he’s right let me know in the comments if you disagree you you uh English yeah English it’s your car yeah I

Have yeah have ‘s it called your camera film just this word yes may behind all Road uh it’s a 360 camera yeah okay so drive carefully Mia okay thank you ciao just a gentle telling off thankfully great policing in my book sticky as per the policeman’s directions

One of the places I was most looking forward to during my time in France was here called du Veron the largest of its kind in all of France would be nice if my drone took you with Me the beautiful bit of blue you can catch in the background leads to the artificial La squa not really sure I parked in the most suitable place but as my drone follows me down the series of steps to a viewing point I’m just struck by the sheer size of

It you might remember I went to Cheddar gorge in my old to Samira in one of my early videos this absolutely dwarfs it one last glance at squa so soothing as I arrive at a beautiful bridge to take me across the gorge I couldn’t initially work out why there

Was a trio of gazebos planted in the Middle with a number of onlookers it soon became apparent that this was a station for base jumping I’m really not too bothered about height but I’m not convinced jumping offer Bridge appeals to me yellow shortsman is a bit braver than

Me let me know in the comments if it’s something you recommend glad to see you made it [Applause] after that I drive through this wonderful looking tunnel facing the gorge with flickering bits of light not this time Li Le some view of the gorge on the

Right the final stop in the south of France for me will take me to the highest point I’ve ever driven along the way I’m greeted by cascad du An Elegant little waterfall about 18 km away from the summit and despite all of the traveling it all feels really homely up

Here I don’t live here it’s Ms all right then I even found a little pet to keep me company not sure it knows where it wants to go though the climb is really enjoyable but if you have any fear of heights at all this isn’t the past for

You there are absolutely no barriers on the edge anywhere close to the top didn’t stop me from driving quickly I love it when you get to the top of the coal you can follow it around to the other side to descend or head to this seam which

Translates as the peak guess where I’m going a large grounded piece of rock signifies the peak well in a car anyway 2,82 m above sea level is where I stand right now for reference the tallest building in the world Burge Khalifa sits at 830 M that’s more than three times a

Height it’s even 50 m higher than stelvio which I saw earlier on in the trip it shouldn’t come as a surprise but this is the highest paved Road in Europe staggeringly This was featured in the tour to France last in 2008 must be absolutely grueling that cycle

Up the road was completed in 1964 and has been absolutely incredible ever since South of France thank you on the last leg of my trip I head further north to a special Valley on the northwest tip of Italy on route to my final stop Switzerland I do hope you enjoyed the

Episode do check out my last couple of videos that led me to the south of France from my time in Tuscany in Rome to my amazing journey to the beautiful Mediterranean islands of Sardinia and Corsica see you next time out
