The driver of the Land Rover cut across my path as if I was not there. The driver of the Renault then tried to tailgate the driver of the Land Rover, and I wasn’t having any of it.

    The driver of the Land Rover attended and completed a driver retraining course as an alternative to prosecution. The driver of the Renault received a warning letter from the Police.

    Rule H3 of the Highway Code: You should not cut across cyclists, horse riders or horse drawn vehicles going ahead when you are turning into or out of a junction or changing direction or lane, just as you would not turn across the path of another motor vehicle.
