£10000 MOUNTAIN BIKE VS £275 BUDGET MTB!

£10000 Mountain bike vs £275 Budget MTB! I put the 10k Canyon Strive ON electric MTB against a cheap Ammaco bike that cost £275 in the january sale by riding MTB trails, jumps and send tricks! But how long will it last?

The head to head bike challenge is back and this time Canyon were lovely enough to supply me with a top of the range Canyon Strive ON CFR electric mountain bike that is aimed at the gnarly world of enduro. And in the opposing corner we have the £275 Ammaco mountain bike which is about as cheap as you can go with a bike before its too dangerous to even consider. For today’s video we head to Woburn Bike Park in the UK to find some big jumps and technical trails. But how different can these two bikes really be?

This bike costs £10,000 and this bike costs £275 so I’m going to be putting them head to head to see how they compare hello everyone today is going to be epic because I’m doing another cheap verse expensive head-to-head but this time this bike cost a little bit more

Than the last one which was £10 and it lasted all of 5 minutes ow as you can see that crash sucked so what we’ve opted for is a budget bike here at £275 this is the sort of thing a beginner may go out and get and on my

Left we have the ultimate mountain bike this is the canyon strive on CFR it’s got the Fabian Burell limited edition colorway and this bike comes in stock at 9,000 but I’ve even upgraded it with more stuff I fitted the Halo grab habitas wheel set on there we’ve also

Got Goodyear Newton Tires for all the grip in the world we’ve also got an uron SM e Mountain team saddle on there and we’ve got some pil grips on there to round the price up a bit and bring us to the ultimate 10,000 price Mark so let’s

Go and put these things head to-head with the first challenge in that direction we’re now over at challenge number one this is the hill climb of Doom I’m going to go from here up to that log there that you can see round Back Down Round this log again back up

And back down and this will be the finish line three two 1 dropping putting them 21 speeds to the test in a nice load oh my God come on don’t click through the gears like that round this back down oh drifted back round a come on what a warm up for the day

Yes let’s check the time after checking 3890 let’s see what the ebike can do three two 1 Dropping Drop a seat up for flick of a button you don’t have that on the cheape drop it for that down the hill oh no oh I’m still going though let’s

Go yes even with a crash destroyed the time 3149 the 10 grand ebike is amazing at climbing let’s go and try the next challenge this is the time trial challenge I’m going to start up the top of that Hill there hit this Trail that’s filled with jumps all the way to the

Bottom then I’m going to go head-to-head on the canyon strive on to see which one’s quicker let’s get it 3 2 1 dropping here we go oh no it’s skipping away come on oh oh into the jumps oh it’s so terrifying listen to all that noise it’s

So gross oh big gap oh no not enough speed now for this one oh my God come on flying around yeah tight bmbs here we go here to the Finish done woo let’s destroy it on the canyon 3 2 1 droping perfect gearing oh I’m too fast wow wo

Yes oh my God this is quick here we go into the Finish done yes after checking the timings on the GoPro that was 32 seconds on the canyon it absolutely smashed the sketchy Amo I’m pretty proud of making it down there though cuz that thing’s rattling the stands coming down and

There was some pretty hefty jumps in there so we got to give that thing a few good points for making it down that trail but the Canyon’s just Next Level let’s move on to the next challenge the next challenge is the wheelie can this bike wheelie this is one of them sort of

Bikes you’d see all the wheelie kids sessioning so is it worthwhile for a wheelie wow um that’s incredible can the canyon whe though of course it can that ebike power just making it even sicker let’s continue into woven bike park and Shred some more I’ve got myself a snack and

Then we’ll head over to the dangerous stuff here we go highest gear ever wow wow flying oh SE no way that’s it considering it says no stunting or jumping on the frame so funny they actually have to write that cool that that bike can handle a

Suicide now hander but way too easy for the canyon we’ve moved over we’re slowly getting bigger with the jump sizes and the technicality is getting higher as well so let’s do this section on here show you what it’s all about and see if that cheapy can handle

It so the canyon got through that with ease how will the amod do on a technical jump line it’s not that big but you’ve got to carry your speed so well through it it’s going to be a nice test see if we can make it up this sort of hip transfer

Here oh easy got through that trail quite easily then I thought I was going to nose bunk that racer then that would have been sketchy let’s see if I can copy the canyon and get my leg off in that sort of steezy manner oh we’ve now come over to the big line

I’m going to show you what it’s like on the ebike here love life and then do the inevitable ride it on that Jep here we go big line on the E wo wo W once you’ve hit the trail you can just blast back to the top enjoying every moment of the ebike let’s check out the Amo and jumps actually too gnarly for this bike everything’s telling me don’t but my body my body is telling me yeah nobody please don’t tell me yes here we are

AO oh oh that is so death oh here we go bit less speed oh oh my god I’ve done it oh oh oh no what I’m not doing that ever again we’re now going to go and test it’s breaking capability let’s go this is the brake challenge we’re going to

See how long it takes for both bikes to stop from this point here as soon as the front wheel touches that we can start breaking and I’m going to roll no pedals from up there come over the side of this burm and then stop I got to there front

Wheel I’m pretty sure the Canyon’s going to beat that there we go easy win on this probably not the best breake test but this one’s just clearly way better isn’t it look at those horrible things let’s go to the next challenge we’re going to see how well we can smash BMS on this

Verse that let’s strive on Wow sick well the canyon cornered like a champ I’m not excited about this one here we go let’s try and get steezy on this Beast oh oh no oh my God it’s all broken help oh my god oh oh yes survived it oh my seat

Oh it didn’t like that tiniest little cut oh my look at this look come here fully cracked what I was trying to do is be steezy that did last quite a while though damn the Amo we got a good session out of it though I mean I’m glad that didn’t

Happen on that big line can you imagine just oh my God it’s not even worth thinking about there we go the budget bike versus the £10,000 canyon bike challenge is over as expected the bike has ended in one day although it did last quite well although being one of the the most

Terrifying bikes to ride ever there’s so much play in it it feels like it’s going to explode at any moment and luckily the wheel broke on one of the smaller jumps if it would have broken on something in there could have actually cost me quite dearly so I’m glad that’s done and as

You can see there 235 quid in a January sale will only last you about one day of riding but on the other end of the mountain bike Spectrum this Canyon strive on is literally a piece of engineering magic I love it it gives you instant confidence I was able to go flat
