Episode 15 of my bike tour in Greece. The route I chose for cycling in Greece was based on the legend of Hercules and the 12 Labours in the Peloponnese region.

This bike touring video covers my cycling route from Tolo to Epidaurus in Greece.

Good morning just getting ready to leave the camp still got some things to pack up and I borrowed a chair from over in an abandoned cafe to sit on had a bowl of fruit for breakfast and let’s have a look at the map then so I am down here

In one of these places and today I’m gonna go back up to this road and then cycle over to here which is old Epidavros so new short day about 40 kilometres the reason being I want to tie my journey to get back to Athens for Sunday

So the following days hop or take me up the coast here towards Corinth but I’ll probably actually stop over here hit one of these campgrounds and then the following day on the Sunday it’s a shorter distance into the center of Athens so there we go let’s show you

Some clips from the road and get moving just leaving the campsite now I’ve got a backtrack a little bit to the main road and I seem to remember passing a little bakery type place so I’m going to stop in there for a coffee and a cheese pie and then continue cycling onwards this

Campground wasn’t fully open yet so the Greek camping season doesn’t really start until really June July so this meant that not all the facilities are open in there so there was no mini market and no restaurant but it was fine I had some supplies with me so no

Worries anyway I am looking forward to a coffee and a cheese pie though this should do the trick cold coffee frappe and a huge cheese pie that coffee employer was very enjoyable so now I’m backtracking slightly to the main road and then cycling on to old Epidavros probably gonna take me two or

Three hours to get there storms with lightning have been forecast for the afternoon but we’ll see if that happens right now the clouds in the sky don’t seem to indicate that would happen but you never know earlier I said that thunderstorms might be predicted for the afternoon but I

Said that the sky was clear well the clouds are building up but it’s more to do with the humidity I think that’s the reason that I think it’s gonna there’s be a few scattered storms this afternoon it’s really humid at the minute especially on these hills leading up to Epidavros Well it might only have been assured distance between solo and old Epidavros but it certainly had its ups and it’s downs in terms of mountains and hills that is maybe I should have checked the elevation before I took on the routes it makes me wonder what the route from old

Epidavros to Corinth will be like so that is definitely worth checking still as you can see I’ve got all these beautiful mountains around us and although I’m not visiting the site of Epidavros I will leave a link here to some information and an article I’ve written about it previously it’s a great

Site to visit it highly recommend it another UNESCO World Heritage Site in Greece 20 minutes now that doesn’t seem to be much of a dent in the site pretty awesome though not much traffic either yup it’s been a pretty good day I’ll finish go to burner for lunch and try

And take some photos of the food just for you guys that’s the end of the day’s ride then and I’ve set up camp in a campsite this was just 8 euros 50 for the nights the tents been doing all right well I’m gonna use that handful of time 7 on the

Trip but it’s fine nothing wrong with tent and the bike which maybe I should do like a post-trip review of it’s been performing flawlessly and I’ve already done a review of this bike on the YouTube channel which maybe you want to go and check it out and I think tomorrow

I’ll take you for a walk around the campsite and show you what the facility is alike until then though thank you very much for watching if you enjoyed the video please thumbs up subscribe to the channel and I will catch you in the next one cheers for now
