    Highlights from stage 2 of the Tour de France 2023. Racing gets no easier on the second Basque stage, with a Clásica San Sebastián inspired route. This 208.9km stage is the longest of this year’s race and again features over 3,000m of climbing, including an ascent of Jaizkibel (8.1km at 5.3%) inside the final 20km where bonus seconds will be awarded.

      Great to see Bernal make that final lead group, hope we can see more of him towards the front after what he’s been through.

      The incumbent TdF director has turned this race i to a farce. Just as Paris has forfeited the right to be referred to as a decent city, the tour should no longer be THE grand tour.

      Are cycling spectators the most thick,stupid ignorant spectators of any sport. The way these fools block the narrow mountain roads is a joke. Please let a motor cycle give one of them a nice friendly smack.
