Round 2 of the Velogames Warm Up Series brings us to a new addition: Etoile de Besseges. Lots of stages for the puncheurs and Mads Pedersen is the most expensive rider alongside Kevin Vaquelin.

Look at the rider prices first things first uh pedison is the most expensive Rider alongside voala for me I think if you’re not picking pedon you’re basically throwing the wi away straight away he in my opinion could honestly contest every single stage and I think that he could also potentially win GC

The climbs the stage four climb to the Finish isn’t that difficult in terms of gradient and I think that pedison has won the TT in the past of this race so I think that pedison is almost just like a must have I think that he will be like

At least 70% selected I think you really need him voolan probably not as much he is very good at these sort of um early season races and especially in France he’s very good very good time trialist he did very good in the GP Mar mares uh

But 20 credits is quite a lot I I do think that pedon has more scoring capacity than V has but I can understand you wanting voolan because I I think that he is definitely a top five candidate for this race Healey is one of the many EF

Education easy post Riders who you could be selecting Healey I can once again I can understand why people want to pick him but um him and also oreli P pent I have question marks over especially Healey we haven’t seen him do any of the meker challenge races unlike his other

Teammates like Simon car and betol so that’s a thing which kind of goes against against him and also he people think that he is like this really good time trialist whereas he’s he’s kind of not to be honest with you if you go look at his TT results they’re not actually

That great um outside of like his under 23 ones so um don’t be fooled into thinking that he is this going to you know Godlike TT Rider because you know you’d be surprised to realize that he’s actually that’s not the case uh Oran P pantler AP yeah he’ll probably come top

10 but his TT will probably let him down so that’s certainly something which goes against him Beto has been very good at meor challenges I think that honestly he he finished off a Podium this race in the past so there’s no reason to not pick him I think that he’s he should be

Ef’s kind of leader I think personally because he’s got a good kick on him as well and I think that betel could finish top 10 in every single stage bergero again I like him he’ll probably finish top 15 but not a great time trialist car probably another top 10 candidate but is

The terrain hard enough for him I don’t really know I think that he’s better over a more mountainous terrain this is more just hilly and I think it’s more suited to beol and Healey than it is to Simon Carr and but B is looking really

Good you know he won V tra Calia even if he was sat on for a lot of it but you know he he just he played the game perfectly well and he won ahead of vlasov and mcnaughty so car’s a good one uh Magnus CT didn’t do well in this race

Last year and a lot of people I think will pick caught because he is such a very good Val games pick a lot of the times but that’s really in a grand TOS I I don’t think that he follows this up very well in stage races he did do good

In alav last year to be fair but uh when there’s also like Kristoff leers and rasas Tiller in this team it’s difficult to say who unox are going to be going for so Court’s a weird one and a lot of these 14 credit Riders are very difficult to ascertain what’s going on cuz

Nefa he’s done very well in this race in the past but he his time trialing will really let him down in the tities but his punch shareability is is really good and he should be finishing you know top five if not on the podium of two or three of these stages I think

Fon uh he did well in this race last year on one of on the stage which dele won I think he was the one after the neutralize stage stage three Kristoff I really just don’t think there’s terrain here to suit Kristoff I honestly might prefer to take tiller cuz I think he’s a

Slightly better climber a better time trialist and he might even contest GC they might go for lerson for that but um yeah leers kind of I think lacks that that punch to get the like bonus second so like he he will be fine like he’ll probably finish top 10 but is he going

To be like the best is he might only get like 200 points or something whereas I think there are other 14 credit Riders who might get more than that like a cousin of if he’s in decent form uh Milan Menton uh he did crash today in

The GP marz so just be sure to check up on that and see if there’s anything going on before you go and select him but in theory he is a good choice Maz was really has just been really bad so far this year so that’s really kind of

Putting me off picking him he was in my initial draft uh but yeah maz’s got a few question marks like he I I really thought that he’d do better than like 120 something from the GP marz today uh 12 credit Riders you got the combo of teimo

Keck and axel laurance nether which I I don’t know who they’re going to be riding for in theory Kik is the slightly faster Sprinter Lance is the slightly better climber neither of which are very good at time trialing so I’m not sure how they’ll do on GC and I don’t know

Who’s going to go for what in Fury laurance is is they’re both good picks um I’m slightly favoring Keck just because he is a better Sprinter but Lance just has this ability to just do super good over puncher terrain so I really can’t split these two uh if you

Have any opinions on that put them in the comments uh Perez top 15 candidate probably Remy roas again probably another like top 20 schs um not bad but I think we’ll be working for pedison Benjamin Tomar has won this race in the past he’s a good time trialist he was

Climbing well uh in the mayorca challenge races so Benjamin Tom is a good one Bren Mo again climbing very well for a guy who is quite tall and heavy good time trialist so again another guy who might finish top 15 Biser outside about one TT I don’t think

He’ll do much duard very good at the end of last year if you remember he’s a very good puncher and I I really like him for this race his time traling will let him down there is also burgo and Fon in this team so he’s fighting for a little bit

Of leadership there so a little bit of a a detraction away from him there there’s also vmos who I just skimmed over there eight credit Riders my favorite one Kevin genenet easy easily he has to go into your team alongside pedison Genet should be the second pick on your team

Jet won GP marz today he is a good puncher he’s a decent time trialist will he finish Will he win no but will he finish top 10 get you 250 300 points yes and as an a credit rider that’s absolutely a defacto has to go into your

Team uh enough said on that pretty much and he’s also the leader for group armor if you take a look at the rest of their start list genenet is the number one on that team G has done well in this race in the past whether that will be the

Same he’s a decent time trialist so in theory I think he will be the oh no there’s also V there’s also a yeah Kevin V so I don’t know maybe maybe not just go with jenet in case uh Sear’s a good one too very good time trialist to be

Under 23 ranks and I think that he could again if he’s climbing well enough could be top 10 but more realistically he’ll be a top 20 candidate six credit Riders Alex Boda of course finished second place behind jet and the GP so that’s a good one to be picking Brena has

Promised so much for so long but hasn’t delivered he’s now at Tuda Pro cycling he usually does quite well on these shorter TTS with a little bit of a a climb on it so that’s very suited towards him but it is a gamble it is a gamble I will admit considering that he

Is quite he blows quite hot and cold Alexander deleta has done well in this in the past I can’t exactly remember I think it might have been like 12th Place GC last year you correct me on that if I’m wrong other six credit Riders I I like arur Cluckers you might not have

Heard of him but he finished 11th in GC at the tour of Luxenberg last year he got 10th place in that TT in that race which is a very hilly and testing time trial and I do think that he could be a sneaky top 20 GC as a six credit rider

That’s pretty good same for matis Lear he’s not exactly the same as Cluckers but kind of that kind of GC Prospect uh I think that he’s he’s a pretty decent one po Miguel uh Mikel no pal Mikel sorry he’s a really good one he’s been doing good in

Races recently that challenge M Yorker race that Matthews won he was seventh and in the GP marz today I think he was sick for something like that so really good I think that he could be picking up a couple of top 10 which as a six credit

Rider that’s pretty good Nara was sixth place in one challenge New Yorker races he did good in Gran caminho last year I get that EF have a lot of that competition here but they could do well in team GC so at least he’ll get points that way very similar for Darren rafy

Except that he didn’t show quite the legs that nura had during the challenge New Yorker races so you can go with him if you want to but I would say that nurer is the better choice uh Liam slock I think is a Sprinter for lot of Destiny

But they will more than likely go for Milan Menton unless his injury from his crash today means that he’s not no longer very comp competitive floron stalk is a good climber for tudah pro cycling it’s about it verito I think he was 17th in GC at the

To down under he was four credits then if you watch that video now he’s six so if he does well here maybe he’ll be eight next time we’ll wait and see he’s probably not the greatest choice to be honest he doesn’t have a time trialing and the terrain isn’t very suited

Towards him either and then in terms of four credit Riders honestly it’s very slim pickings you have Galva who a couple of years ago was quite a good puncher hasn’t really shown that in the last couple of years Marcus hoard was the best placed Uno X rider in

The GP marz so he’s climbing decently uh but he didn’t really contest to Sprint so I don’t really know what to make of that but again as a full credit Rider you can’t really go too wrong Eddie lus has been good in time trials of the under 23 scene we’ll wait and see

Whether he can correlate that into something here uh Valentin uh not bad I mean he’s he’s kind of a puncher but when we have K and oreli and pal Penta hit I doubt he’ll get much leeway and then the other ones are all the other ones are all much of a

Muchness you can go look on Pro cycling stats and whatever and make a judgment for yourself this is the team that I have at the moment I’m very happy with quite a lot of it except for Lon and Tiller I could very well not go with and

Pick another 12 credit Rider like Keck and not go with tiller and maybe go with K neir but the rest of a team I’m very much Happy with and uh I don’t think I’ll be changing too much so let me know in the comments down below what you’re
