Hi I’m Kevin Reeds with David walters’s Yachts we’re here today to take a look at Lila a 2002 oyster 53 Dex Salon let’s go aboard I think you’ll like this one a lot starting up here on the bow of Lila you can see a great big anchor and a big uh Lumar uh

Windless harken furlers for the stacil and the Gena and teak deck and of course there’s uh access to the Anchor Locker through two hatches they’re on either side of the anchor as I spin around you can see the cabin top uh three big door raids couple of

Hatches big hatch here into the main C or the forward cabin and then uh you can see the Dex Salon Windows the canvas was all replaced recently as was the electronics All b& Electronics on this boat were replaced since the owner bought the boat in 2018 let’s go back down the sides

Here oversized cleats nice stainless steel lifelines and Lumar electric winches uh for the primaries uh secondaries and then the main sheet wrenches back there continuing a you can see large hatch into the uh Master State room down below and there’s H Storage here on the back of the cabin house and then storage

In the deck three big or two big hatches here storage and there and uh great big uh manual stainless steel davits for the ab dingy stainless aluminum bottom dingy there and a big Honda out out board with a a motor lift there on the transom as well let’s uh let’s continue or here

Let’s take a look inside the cockpit uh so large enclosed cockpit there is ising glass that goes all the way around and you got a B&G chart plotter controls for the bow thruster and the autopilot and wind instruments and a VHF radio there at the vehicle as well as uh engine controls

And uh some alarms and uh engine start stuff there nice very nice very very safe controlled cockpit Let’s uh let’s go down below take a look before we go down below I also wanted to let you know there’s a uh electric Howard wench here on the cabin top on the uh starboard

Side okay now we’re down below on Lila let’s start up in the forward cabin and I’ll show you what’s going going on here we’ll go aft from here so here is uh forward cabin a large bunk Uh custom mattress that splits in half so it’s easy to get under there bank of drawers

Underneath storage here on the port side large hanging Locker little seat here and over on the starboard side you got a tall hanging Locker more storage there’s the air conditioner vent the control for it up there by your head and you’ve got a couple of reading lights as well as

Well as a large hatch uh so plenty of light and ventilation in this uh this cabin forward okay let’s spin around for side is the head coron countertops lots of storage and there’s the head shower built in there so then here on on the uh starboard side is uh upper and

Lower bunks in a guest cabin got big hanging Locker there drawers underneath drawer storage underneath the bunk and then a little countertop and mirror it’s a very nice little guest cabin perfect for kids or grandkids so here we are in the uh Main Salon on the port side forward we got a large

Sati television uh installed above that you see a locker there large Salon Windows signature of the oyster all the way around there you go and then on the starboard side a large large dining table big table there’s a cover on that to protect it and Liquor Locker underneath it and then

Behind on the port side here is the nav station very comfortable seat you can see the big uh electrical panel everything you need there and then all your instrumentation from the nav station looking all the way around you can see access to a cabin which we’ll look at in a minute here’s the

Companionway steps going up to the cockpit generator is underneath that bottom step and then the galley is off here on the uh starboard side we’ll look at that in a second as well so behind the nav station is the Captain’s Quarters you see large storage underneath the

Bunk a single bunk up here which right now is full of stuff life Jack gets and extra lines and then the water maker uh right here let me open that up take a look at that so there’s your water maker tank tender is in here what a captain can check all of

The levels in all the tanks and he’s got a bhf and a satellite phone mounted right here as well pretty nice little Captain’s cabin uh before we leave the main cabin um I did want to share one thing I forgot about is uh here forward in this big Locker is the built-in

Washer and dryer really great here right in the middle of the boat and a nice little cabinet built around it and after the main salon on the uh starboard side is our walk through Galley so a large freezer compartment here and then a three burer uh Force 10

Uh stove and oven microwave oven up there you can see the uh air conditioner exhaust there lots of countertop storage behind storage underneath lots of storage on the inboard side uh dual stainless sinks pressure water and um uh drinking water water there storage outboard and then uh going further out large refrigerator compartment

Here hold a lot of stuff couple of water’s in there now but hold a lot of stuff and then a large Pantry comp cabinet on the side empty right now and then a from The Galley is our uh main Master State Room large Center Island Queen storage underneath large hanging Locker here on

The starboard side lots of storage all the way down the side big Windows Windows all the way around the top and a large hatch and then continuing up the port side you’ve got a seat there more countertop lots of storage storage here on the forward bulkhead

And then access to the uh the second head toilet granite countertops lots of storage outboard big mirror and then a nice walk-in shower with a with a door that shuts that’s a really nice feature big drain really clean lots of room I hope you have enjoyed this brief
