Le Danois Jonas Vingegaard de la Team Jumbo-Visma et double vainqueur du Tour de France au micro de Cyclism’Actu

I think it’s a very nice route it seems very very hot and uh yeah uh I think it suits me quite well so I’m already looking forward to it what is the more important stage for I don’t think there’s like one of course there is like but not only one

Decisive stage I think it’s more like there’s the gravel stage and the two time trials and then yeah some super hot Mountain stages as well so I think it’s more everything that will decide it next year how do you feel about the climb uh above 2,000 M do you are you worried

About it I mean normally I’m I’m quite good in in the altitude so actually I’m I’m looking forward to it I mean I never tried 2,800 M so that’s a new experience for me uh but yeah I’m still looking forward to it maybe uh we’ll see depends uh what me

And the team will will talk about and what we will uh what the plans will be it’s a good experience this there what sorry and well a good experience for you yeah for sure uh I mean I’m happy uh I was happy to be there and uh yeah it was

A was a nice race of course it was not so nice to to get sick there in the in the start but uh I survived and uh yeah then I still I still enjoyed it and uh yeah then uh sure it’s not the last time

I did it I think it’s four of the best riders in the world and uh if it happens it will be a super nice fight mhm what do you what do you think of the 2024 to Def France I think it’s a super hard course um so yeah obviously I’m I’m also

Looking forward to it is it harder than this year I would say yes um why because it’s it’s the third week seems harder than yeah than it was this year um so yeah it’s always in the third week you can really make a big difference uh and

I think for me that’s also what suits me that yeah I’m always still good in the in the third week so uh I think that’s suits me as well M what will you do before the tour oh I don’t know yet uh we haven’t made any any plans for next

Year so uh yeah I’ll have to speak with the team we’ll have to to make a a plan about my races and and yeah training camps yeah do you expect tacha change his plan towards the tour after what happened this year well I mean I don’t know I think uh if you

Would be him yeah but he’s also a very different riter so uh it’s hard to yeah um to do yeah to how do you say put myself in his shoes I think if if you want a good answer on that I think you have to ask today the first time against

Remco AO what do you expect of him if you see the stages I mean I’ve also raced against rco a few times also this year in the Volta so but not in the tour that’s different it’s another level it is it is it’s true uh so yeah I’ll I’ll

I’m looking forward to racing him and uh I think it will be a big big fight yeah one last question now you will have Asal tender Primos rogle how strange would that be I mean of course it will be strange so far I’ve only been riding in

The team with him uh so yeah we’ll feel strange to to race against him and uh yeah try to to beat him

    1. I am pleased to see that Jonas Vingegaards gradual transformation into Bond Villain is nearing completion. I will be adding him to my fantasy team next year, of which it will be called Blofeld.

    2. I think it are great with a gravel stage but two time trials are at least one to many IMO. I cannot get mountain stages enough, so applaud they brought more for 2024. I am looking forward. This and last year were best TdF´s in decades! Jonas are such a beast on a bike. He are modest, a gentleman and the opposite of many super ego´s. His consistency and ability to restitute combined with his ability to ride mountain stages makes him perfect for the hardest race on the planet!
