Kotor and Kotor Bay main attractions – cycling in Montengro

Kotor Bay is one of the most beautiful areas of Montenegro. I want to take you on a bike ride with me to explore this area. For those travelling to Montenegro, this will be a great route to follow on a car, motorcycle or bicycle. On my way, I will pass through the cities of Stoliv, Kotor, and Perast. I am starting and finishing in Tivat.

Hey guys what is up everybody welcome  to a new video in this video i want to   take you with me on a bike ride around Bay of  Kotor in Montenegro uh Kotor bay is a part of   UNESCO world heritage and my route will  be about 40 kilometres and on my way i  

Will pass through the many cities such  as uh Stoliv, Kotor, Perast, Risan and   and i am starting this route from Tivat and i  will be back to Tivat so this kind of circle   uh so if you are planning to come and visit  Montenegro or do sports such as cycling this would  

Be good route to take so stay with me till the end  of this video and you will see everything let’s go   so guys this is the first stop and i’m very  interesting let’s say point or spot you can  

See really popular islands in Kotor Bay behind  them here somewhere here you have a Risan city in   front of me you have Perast there we’re gonna have  Kotor and on this right side while i’m cycling you  

Will get to Stoliv um and we will be coming back  on that road which is on opposite side of this   channel in few hours we will be passing there  i will stop there and i will show you this side

So my way i got a map which is actually displaying  everything which we’re gonna pass so basically my   previous shot was done from here from this point  and as you can see it will go around the bay   like this passing all these cities  which i mentioned like Stoliv Perast  

Risan Morinj and then i will come back here the  turn which you saw from this side and then here   here we’re gonna have a ferry and i will come  back to Tivat which is here so there is our map

There is a city of Kotor on the other side i  think it’s about couple kilometres and that will   be there we’ll show your the city a little bit  but meanwhile look at the base so we’re gonna go  

All the way down there yeah beautiful nice okay  let’s go i got to old town of Kotor there is a   main entrance to the town and then if you i don’t  know if you can see here you have a fortress  

So basically you can hike there for about 1 hour  or 30 minutes so you go through the main entrance   and then you are going up and from there you  will see really nice view to the Bay of Kotor  

I will put full photo here what i decided to  do just quickly get in to show your the main   square of the Old Town and that’s now we are in  old town of Kotor you can see how nice is that and then you can use many of  those small narrow streets to  

Walk around and explore the city it’s  beautiful i really advise you to do so   i’m not going to go there because  with my bike but then yeah you can see beautiful i came to the city of Perast and  you cannot get here by car only by bike especially in summer time

Remember when we were there here i show  you the city say it is just in front of us   and yeah there is old town of Perast and from  here you can take boat to those islands which  

I told you before so we went all the way down  here and here and here and then we came here   to the Old City of Perast i think it’s just  halfway for me after that i will go further  

Because i would need to travel that way here here  here all around the Bay and then i will come here   and here i will take a ferry back  toTivat it’s beautiful so beautiful right   one more stop on our way right after  Perast we got to the city of uh Risan  

It’s not a big city but it’s quite old so people  know about it i’m not sure i can advise any   itinerary here but to visit the cities just  you know pass by to see would be worth it

So there is a little stop before we go to  ferry so remember we started from here i   mean we actually started from Tivat but i was  telling you the whole road standing here and  

Then we went all around the bay so we cycle here  here here all the way up and then we come here   and now basically you see there is  a ferry here so i think it’s around  

I don’t know maybe 10 minutes cycling and then  i get to the ferry i cross the the channel and   i will cycle back to Tivat that’s pretty much  it so let’s go to our final destination right

Okay guys i’m gonna ferry now so loading the  ferry and then we’re gonna go to the other side   there you see another ferry is coming  so we’ll go there and that’s it   almost the whole circle around  the Bay or Montenegro Fjord it’s been it three and a half hours on the road  

Um it’s kind of like tourist mode of course you  can do it faster if you’re if you have a goal or   if you um kind of like do it in sports mode  but for me it was important to cycle around  

Show you some nice places to explore if you want  to stay there or you know to have a lunch or a   cup of coffee that would be really nice cities  to explore also they all have really beautiful  

Uh scenic view to the Boka Bay (Bay of Kotor)  um if your first time in Montenegro that   would be nice to see and yeah i mean if you  have any questions please leave them in the
