Today’s video we’re at Forest of Dean MTB Trails with my good friends Jeremy and Fergus who i’ve known for years. Jez is riding an XC race bike and going to try and keep up with Ferg on his Full Suspension Enduro bike on a mixture of different trails… From smooth berms, to loamy corners and rocky tech sections!     What’s going on YouTube today I’ve driven three hours to the Forester Dean and I’m here with my good friends jez and Ferg and we’re going to hit up some secret trails and also maybe some lers before we get started let’s have a quick look at what bikes the boys are on and

    Then we’ll get riding hi I’m Jeremy big this is my XC hard tail it’s a marina big n and I’m Fergus Ryan and this is the Gen 2 Privateer 161 yeah we’re going G on the trails so let’s go right so we’ve now left that first spot

    And we’ve got to the second location and there’s some sick lomy Corners here so jez and Ferg are going to rip down them and obviously I’m going to film them so let’s get into itwe let’s go you get it yeah oh baby oh dear oh

    Dear we pushed her a little bit too high what happened F oh Corner get the inv a out it’s well it was good one it last did luckily we know the builders it yeah I know right oh where’s the analysis we need the analysis so about

    Here this is where fer went wrong and he wasn’t judging the support of the corner right it’s just too fluffy for it too fluffy too oh I’m in danger that was that was interesting just a bit so for that last section the boys are going one at a time and now

    They’re going to go back to training with Ferg in front and jez behind and we’re going to hit this different track which got loads of cool BMS it’s a little bit muddy so should be good let’s do it I say we’re going to hit this track as if I’m riding but you’re going

    To be here though in spirit no I’m here in real life I’m not just here in spirit what’s that hitting that track oh not I thought he was stabbing me let’s go how does it feel trying to keep up with a full suspension on the hotel it’s uh

    Pretty pretty scary you uh you got to trust your grip and there’s not much grip on an XE bike to be honest especially with your tires yeah show them the tires is oh yeah let’s just uh oh yeah you know nin no shter rces and he’s quite fast all the grip

    All the grip no idea compared to Ferg’s tires yeah I got I got plenty none of this all action no traction stuff I uh I want all the traction I can get all traction no action all traction no all right got some action how did that that heavy bottom out feel

    On the hotel horrible do one of those intended distances well oh stop from here one two three four five 6 seven eight 13 14 to The Sweet Spot and then we tried to go I don’t know we right I’ll speed this up in post cuz 32 feet to The Sweet Spot double the

    Distance yeah where were you uh probably probably around the 31 foot maybe a 30 foot got some work to do she’s almost there got get our weight over the front you just got to hold on and and pray yeah grip it and rip it yeah boy oh

    Baby yeah let’s go that one was sick so move on to the next one yo that’s do it what the hell the disrespect the big nine the big nine this guy unbelievable the poor big nine where are we now steep one bit steeper bit bumpier bit more tury than

    What we’ve been riding today going to test the hard tail yeah I’m not sure the hard tail is going to be quite as fast on this no grip no worries yeah exactly um going to try and maybe my pace is good enough try and pull off that down into

    That okay maybe she might be right yeah I’m not doing that one yeah I get the if I Gap I’m going to have a corner but at the same time if I don’t go wide it’s like yeah I mean go fast pull up so F once the go from that takeoff to down

    There parkour parkour yo oh my God SI Yeah Boy scary yeah that was mental surprised that how silent that was yeah he went I was expecting like clatter went quite far right as well I did C it quite bad didn’t they I don’t think it was a case

    Really it’s just you hit it to the right yeah how was it it was actually right yeah surprisingly smooth I didn’t think I was going to do it until literally on the lip but yeah it was all good Jesus St so what bike do you think is faster

    On tracks like this the hardel or the fullu it’s pretty 50/50 I think if you can you can work the terrain the hard toils pretty fast but yeah you got some advantages on the full suspension as well get away with a bit more on the

    Full Su whereas you got be a bit more pinpoint on that but like when you hitting the BMS and carrying speed over the flat stuff like hard Tail’s yeah definitely going to be pretty good it accelerates quite fast when you put the pedals in as well quite nice especially you got this

    Man you got the crazy wattage maybe I’ll say this bit make the make the people remember that I’m still here it’s nearing the end of the day now but this is going to be our last trail I’m not supposed supp to say that am I do me so

    This is the last trail of the day we’re going to head down and there’s a couple more corners and maybe a jump that we’re going to hit and then that’ll be it so let’s go do it maybe a bit maybe a bit be a nice way to end the video drink

      Makes me want to trade in the full sus and get hard
