Jan-philipp suggested one day that we bike from Dublin to Glendalough. So we bought a couple of very cheap bikes, which literally came apart during the trip, and rode those 60 kilometers in a day.

Fun fact 1: During the first hour of the trip, my camera crashed against my handle and the LCD exploded. This made the video incredibly hard to film because not only was I on a bike filming with one hand, I also couldn’t see what I was pointing at or change the settings. This is why sometimes it’s too dark and sometimes it’s too bright.

Fun fact 2: Are you wondering about the balloons? Good. Keep wondering.

Song: Heretic pride – The mountain goats

Well they come and pull me from my house and it drags my body through the streets and the sun’s so hot i think i’ll catch fire and burn up in the summer air so moist and sweet and the people all come out to cheer rocks in the pathway break my skin

And there’s honeysuckle on the face breeze today with every breath i’m drawing in i want to cry out but i don’t scream and i don’t shout and i feel so proud to be alive and i feel so proud so as we near the center of the town

And they dig a trench right in the main square right there and then pick me up and throw me down and i start laughing like a child and i mark their faces one by one the transfiguration’s gonna come for me at last and i will burn hotter than the sun i waited so

Long and now i taste jasmine on my tongue and i feel so proud to be and i feel so proud so we’re almost there we almost high five you know what it is no no idea you wanna go stand on top of her your first
