Here is how I typically approach people when I’m on my bike on a shared path or space. A friendly hello and close attention to safety. 😁 This video serves as an example of how we can all enjoy the beauty of the local parks, shared lanes and public spaces and be respectful and courteous. It’s easy to not be an idiot. I always conduct myself in a respectful way as do the vast majority of cyclists. Don’t let one bad example tarnish us all.

Doesn’t matter where you cycle, always give priority and consideration to pedestrians along your way. For me this means I always slow down politely let people know that I am approaching and indicating which side I will be passing. The last thing I would want is to cause confusion and a collision. This is my friendly approach and it seems to always be well received when I’m out on my rides. Thanks for watching. 😁😁

Pedestrians & Cyclists can coexist in the bike lane, cycle lane and the parks and paths across the city. Here’s an example of a shared interaction between a cyclist and pedestrians. it’s great to enjoy the beautiful tranquil surroundings of this public lake and park in North Warwickshire, without the risk of being hit by cars and navigating around traffic.

I promote positivity in cycling and encourage engagement, inclusion and fun fun fun.
