Police are hunting more suspects after two teenagers were killed in a knife attack in Bristol.
The boys, aged 15 and 16, were stabbed in Ilminster Avenue, in Knowle West, at about 11.20pm on Saturday, Avon and Somerset Police said.
The attack was carried out by a group of people who fled the scene in a car.
Police have launched a murder inquiry and are actively hunting more suspects as well as witnesses who were on a bus at the time of the killings.

At around 11:20 p.m. last night the received a report two people had been stabbed in an attack carried out by a group of people on Hill Minster Avenue the first officer was on scene within minutes and did what they could to provide first aid before the boys were
Taken to hospital by the ambulance service tragically neither survived their injuries the boys families were with them at hospital and I thought are with them as they process these awful events a murder inquiry has been launched by the major crime investigation team and two people have already been arrested and are currently
In police custody the boy families have been informed of the arrests and we will continue to be support them and update them on the investigation using our specially trained family liaison officers a large Cordon is in place on ilmin Avenue was crime seen investigators examine the scene and other officers carry out inquiries
Including house-to-house inquiries and the collection of any CCTV footage there are a significant number of properties within the Cordon we would like to apologize for the disruption caused but we hope people understand the importance of the work being carried out I’d like to reassure people we will

I find it beyond belief that the obvious steps haven`t been taken to reduce stabbings of this sort. The one and only reason knives have sharp and pointed ends is for penetration, i.e. stabbing. A knife with a sharp blade but a rounded blunt end would make it very difficult to stab with. It would not readily penetrate clothing but would still cut, which is the only reasonable use for a knife. They do NOT need to be pointed. I know there are thousands of pointed knives in circulation but the ongoing sale of pointed knives could and should be banned and stopped. Maybe then we could make some sense of this stupidity and waste of young lives.

What has happened to the days when we fought with our fists and often took a beating, win or lose we stood up for ourselves and earned some respect from the local lads in our neighbourhoods. I had my moments like we all do from time to time and yes I sought to avoid trouble because life is a lot easier if you think safe and steer clear of the trouble hot spots. Put yourself into the shoes of someone carrying a knife and you will instantly cross that threshold of being a rational thinking human being into an uncontrolable killer, your intent is perfectly clear and you will use that weapon to gain that advantage to stay alive. As I quoted above, stay out of harms way and give your family the joy and pleasure you owe to them.

Go find the place in google maps, the exact same metal bars, and there are flowers out for ANOTHER young man who was killed in 2019 when someone put a bike they got out of a river (cuz of course they did) in the way of his (stolen) motorbike intentionally killing him as he sped past, no helmet on.
