I was once pulled over on my push bike at 00:30 by an unmarked police car. I was well-illuminated plus Hi-Vis vest. Apparently there had been a housebreaking. I declined to be cheeky and ask where the candlesicks were concealed on the bike or that my degree did not qualify me for such a role. I was allowed to proceed.
