Heartwarming Gesture: Princess Anne Opens Village for Veterans

    The Princess Royal officially opened the Royal British Legion Industries’ Centenary Village in Aylesford for disadvantaged veterans. Princess Anne met with several ex-service personnel, and unveiled a plaque to commemorate her visit to the village. Report by Matthew Covell.

    On what a way to celebrate a centinary but to bear in mind that a just over 100 years ago your predecessors came up with a remarkably good model um quite often people in reinvent that particular wheel what you’ve done is make this model work better and better uh arguably it’s a little sad

    That it is as unique as it appears to be and that this model doesn’t happen elsewhere but what you’ve done here is to make sure that that initial uh investment of understanding in need has been fully uh worked up for a a relevant model that exists today and I can I just

    Thank you and congratulate you all for being involved here to make it um at the moment still unique but hopefully maybe not in the future and that you will continue to maintain its relevance and to build on what your intercessors started here so thank [Applause] you

Rain, wind, gales, or worse weather conditions never stops The Princess Royal, Princess Anne carrying out her Royal duties in support of the Monarchy and Royal Family and its so beautiful to see The Princess Royal, Princess Anne opening the new village for the veterans who all deserve the best and to always be acknowledged, remembered, celebrated, respected and praise for their immense sacrifices, services, dedication, commitment and loyalty to their Queen and country while fighting in the 1st and 2nd World Wars. All veterans are totally tremendous heroes and they much deserve our sincere respect, gratitude, appreciation and love for each individual’s service life in the entire sector of the military service.

    3. Typical Princess Anne, no fuss, and no expectation of any. She goes about her business with such respect for the people she is dealing with, she is such a wonderful member of the Royal family. Talk about the apple not falling far from the tree, she epitomises her mother.
