Going to document my whole journey to Al Maria and uh show you what you need for a track day in Spain right so of course first things first you need to sell the motorbike I’ve got a kawazaki zxr 636 um I think it’s plenty people take
Thousands you can do what you want you know you can take what you want at the end of the day as long as you’re going to enjoy your European track day I’m off to El Maria um I I think it’s the best track in the world um I just it’s just an enjoyment
It’s just fun out there you you get to meet some ex some fantastic people when you’re out there so a little bit of a rundown right so I take uh my pelli super coers uh Diablos for any novice anybody get these tires honest to God they are fantastic um they’re just enjoyable they
Super super super sticky fantastic tires and they’re just honestly they are fantastic I’ve said that quite a lot actually fantastic fantastic but anyway so braided hoses I advise anybody to get braided hoses for your bike you will get brake fade not with braided hoses but you standard brakes um
Pipes you will get break fade i’ I’ve had it before on track um I’ve been going down the long straet and all of a sudden I’ve gone around a couple of times I have got breaks but it’s not quite there so I upgraded to um to braided OES
Fantastic never had any issues touchwood I’ve never ever ever ever had any issues with braided hoses fantastic honest to God um I go with a company called focused events I’ve been going with them for many years um and I used to go with other companies as
Well but I find Focus event just that little bit more easier to go with a less stress you don’t really have to worry about as much um yeah I’ll tell you the costs in a minute so you get an understanding of of what your got in cost and everything else let me just
Turn that off um yeah so uh going back to the bike steering damper I advise everybody to get a steering damper on their bike I’ve got Oland um I’ve had different um uh uh steering dampers you know I’ve had many steering dampers on them but I always revert back
To olens it’s just the better model um I’ve had this all uh changed oil in it and everything else that’s all ready to go for track so apart from the fairing of course my fairing is just been uh my Fair’s been painted but I need to get it
Stickered uh it’s being done today so it should be on the bike by today or tomorrow um yeah so perelli super coers if you’re a noest these tires should last you for the four days on track without fou I do take two locks I take these ones what are on the bike
Then I take a spare set you don’t really need to take them really but um they do sell tires out there um with focused events and they’re just as good like you know uh uh they do different models of tires I’ve seen on their Facebook lately they’re actually branding another
I can’t I can’t remember the brand name of them but they’re actually um testing some more tires I can’t remember the actual brand of them but anyway um yeah so that’s the bike really so right so we go to the cost the cost of getting my baby my bike out to our
Maria 400 and £89 to get my bike out to Spain plus four days on track four days on track so that’s getting your bike out there four days on track plus five days in a hotel and the hotel is beautiful literally the hotel’s here a roadway there the sea the hotel’s got
A swimming pool you know if you’re going to go in the summer periods you got a swimming pool to go to afterwards you know you’ve been out on track all day it’s nice to have a dip it’s great you got the SE right in front of you like I
Don’t know why people do English track days you don’t need to do them it’s it’s just phenomenal like 489 get your bike out there four days on track five days in a hotel focused events do like a another deal I think it’s I saw on there the other day six days on track
Six days in a hotel or or seven days in in a hotel for like5 or 600 pound no 600 sorry that’s just absolutely ridiculous that’s so cheap and you’re enjoying yourself and and it’s just a great holiday so going back to the cost so once you’ve done the four uh £489 so
Then you got your flights on that so I’m taking my misses this time but uh cost me 250 quid for the flights it’s nothing yeah so then so so then you got to get car higher car higher I think it was 10060 so which is probably about 150 odd
Euro uh 150 odd pound um it’s still cheap you know so you’re looking at that as under Grand yeah it’s it’s just it’s just such a cheap holiday so then of course you got your spending money your fuel money when you’re on track um you know if you need anything doing
Anything you know the the focused events have their own mechanics there to change tires to to have a look at your bike you know if you want to service your bike out there then you know you forgot to do it when you’re here they can do all that
Out there you know or if you want to do it in the pit lane or what not in the pit Lane in the garages it’s all set up for you focused events is actually an amazing company for people with with bikes so you can enjoy yourself there’s not many accidents out there you
Know I find the people who have accidents are a bit Lively a bit scatty and stuff but I’m one of them by the way but you know touchwood I haven’t fallen off for ages last time I fell off was a her where jbel and Rossy um uh on the
Last bend that was where I stacked it and busted me coll bone and some other bits and Bobs but I won’t go into that but yeah so so that’s the bik you know it’s it’s just crazy it’s just it’s just absolutely crazy let me just put the
Camera up a little bit so then of course you know you got your levers yeah I got these off my mate actually yeah they’re not bad levers I PID I think I paid 200 250 quid for these levers and they’re like um uh they’re like summer levers
Yeah they I’ve got a few scratches on you know you know I’ve gone down on the bum a few times you know um they were me when I got them but for that price you know it’s cheap and then I’ve got me warmer levers you know got some
LNS some LS levers you know been down a few times you know not that bad saggy bum of course but I think I paid 15 years ago I think I paid something like I think they like 12 for £1,500 still got the focus events
Um little tag so that tag is like a um so that’s your number uh what goes to you and you only so when you have a a spill so they know who you are so that’s like a little safety thing for you um yeah so that’s the levers of course and
Then of course I’ve got so then I got my D easy back protector I am upgrading this because it’s a little bit uh it’s a little bit old uh I am going to upgrade this before I go um so that’s that so then of course I got me boots
Yeah everyone knows that brand I’m not even going to talk about them really good um boots uh I will be upgrading these next year so if anyone wants to uh have a free pair of boots let me know in the comments uh uh after I done these they’re
Yours first person to comment they’re your boats yeah so I am going to upgrade them so that’s that so that’s your back uh back protector your levers uh my lid my lid never ever ever goes with a bike yeah get a helmet bag take it on the plane with you you break your
Lid that’s your holiday done you could probably go and buy one out there but that is your holiday down yeah I won’t wear a lid if it’s got a crack down it or scratch on it or whatever but that’s just me being you
Know who I am I won’t do it um where are they where are they where are they where are they uh okay KN sliders yeah these have lasted me I paid 40 quid for them no 30 quid for them uh how long ago three four years ago I’ve done six
Track days with them still got loads of meat on them still got loads and I bought myself a second pair yeah second pair of them um I don’t even use them yet I think I paid 40 quid and it comes with a free key ring and some stickers
And stuff like that for for whatever do you know what I mean stick some stickers on your bike or you know if you want to do that but you don’t have to of course but yeah so that’s so that’s my kit for when I’m on track you know uh uh uh uh
Like I said spare set of tires yeah that’s me tires me spare set so that’s that so then of course I’ve got me me uh Tire warmers I find these Tire warmers they’re absolutely fantastic yeah these are actually my brand new set because the last ones I had I actually
Broke the cord I got it trapped and I cut the cord you know I did fix it but just got another pair uh just to make it like for me really so um so going back so like bearings yeah uh I always take a set of spare
Bearings on my last track day I think it was the because I went on a fre day track day last one I done on the second day bar bearings failed you couldn’t write it they filed in the rear and they filed in the front exactly the same time
I had no spares no one could help me no kazaki dealer out there or a garage can help me um so literally I was half so i’ done the first day i’ done halfway through the second day bearings went I couldn’t get anything else so I always
Take a set of spare bearings you never ever ever know now so that’s so that’s my must um because the wife’s going seats take some seats you’re allowed to put them on the selages yeah yeah put them on the floor in the stillages sorry I got some cell tape on my bloody foot
Um yeah seats I think these cost me I think they were like 35 for two yeah and they are the comfy ones with the leg right out and everything else 35 quid for two one for me and one for the wife and because the the children are coming uh they’re taking their little
Seats as well so 35 quid thank you very much I forgot to tell you the price on the pelli Diablo cultes two uh I think I paid 310 quid front and back and another 310 quid to 620 quid for my tires like I said you don’t have to take
Two pairs you can buy them out there um I say to people all the time because a lot of people borrow my pumps yeah so this is my pump uh what I use on the track day so it’s just like a drill yeah slot that in the hole it tells you on the
Back oh it tells you on the back you how much battery you’ve got so then it comes up with the display on here on what so I set my last road bike at 30 six so I can go down with that yeah because on the on
The on the rear I have it at 25 25 or 2 I can’t remember now I think it’s 25 on the uh on the rear tire so then on the front I I do it a little bit more at 28 I think I do it 28 so
Literally all you do just press the button yeah it’s fantastic absolutely love it sorry so yeah so that’s the pump so then it comes with a car charger of course and a normal plug uh second thing my tools I just take a little Hammer to take the wheels
Out yeah yeah take that out with you and I’ve just broke me clip but I take this cost me 150 quid off of Amazon look at all that 150 quid yeah comes with everything everything that you got there will fix that bike yeah will fix that bike
Um 150 quid take it with you cheap as chips um when you go down to drop your bike off down down at thingy bob uh down uh it’s not too far from G crawly or or somewhere like that take five straps one two for the front two for the
Rear and something say say if You’ got a bag or anything that you want to put on top or I anything take a fifth um one take take a fifth strap with you um it’s just peace of mind so you can strap your bike down uh of course
You’re going to need paddock stands like I just said earlier two paddock stands yeah for your tire warmers job done um that’s really about it um what else can I say apart from I will try and document this whole journey uh oh and uh he need a cloth so it’s
Just standing on the bike at the moment so when you put it in the sage you put a cloth over your bike uh a little bike cover so that stops IT from getting scratched but I can’t say anything else really because I’m going to try and document the whole trip so everyone gets
To see how how easy it is um from doing the cares from when you’re putting all your stuff on the on the sheet when you give it to focused events when you email it back to them and tell them what you’ve got so say for aug sake you put
Your VIN number down yeah so then you tell the they’ll uh uh uh when you got the car name it will say make a model caki ZX6 so then it will come up with a VIN number yeah you can have put your VIN number in or your registration mine
Ain’t got a registration because it’s never been on the road um so then you can put your registra uh uh the VIN number tell them how much it weighs just go on Google Google will tell you how much this bite weighs yeah so mine at the moment will
Uh when it comes from Factory I think it’s 0 kilos I’ve got it down to about 175 probably 170 to 175 so that’s that so then you tell them the weight of your tires just guess this you know you don’t have to be spot on
You know they’re not asking you to be oh my God perfect but try and weigh everything it helps Focus the vents out it really does like so on this trip I’ve weighed everything so what I’ll probably try and do is is show you a uh uh
Picture of what I I’ve done and I’ll put it in there and everything else so you can see how I’ve done it uh cross my dress out and stuff like that but um you’ll see what I mean so yeah so that’s it really guys uh for £489 you can go
Out with focused events four days on track five days in a hotel gets your bike out there and back to the UK that’s really all I’ve got to say so like I said subscribe and everything else I’m going to document everything for you so even down to the
Paperwork even down to getting the bike in the stillages strapping it down putting your stuff in it does take a little bit of juggling every time I do it I still mess it up yeah how did I do it last time why didn’t I take a picture
It’s just common sense you know so I’m going to document the whole trip uh down to getting the bike in stillages even getting onto the flight even um uh getting the car higher uh going down the coast road towards Al Maria um uh going to the hotel and showing you the
Pictures and videos of the hotel um uh uh uh going along the coast road going to the track the way you go to the track um uh down to the actual track itself and yeah that’s it really so I hope everyone really gets on the board with you know Focus events because
They are a really really really good company and like I said he’s only there for your safety and nobody else’s he wants you to have an amazing track day he doesn’t want you to piss around you know of course you can have a laugh your
Mates going in and out of each other but there’s certain rules you have to buy by so when you have your briefings and stuff like that yeah he will tell you I can’t remember the briefing off the top of my head but he will tell you the briefings every briefing is different
Sometimes it’s the same sometimes it’s not but he’s doing it for your safety and safy only but guys honest to God get on these European track days you will absolutely love them if there’s any questions just feel free to contact me and I’ll try my best to help you out the

Days after us so we can do the track down in the middle and they can have a fun so they can see Daddy on track and mom can watch and everything else it’s just fun honestly guys but yeah I’m going to leave you with that one so
