Terminal 1 is where we arrived and terminal 2 is where there are cars that you can rent to get to the center, it’s very simple you can take the train that passes right here at the airport and costs €10 round trip from the airport

Or you can rent a car and visit the nearby cities like Cannes and Saint Tropez and there is also a bus that goes to these places also to Monaco So let’s get to know the city of Nice together! and the cheapest way to get to the center is to go by bus

Here the cost is €1.70 plus the card price, it takes 22 minutes, and you take line 12 if you go by car you will arrive in generally 15 minutes and the bus goes across the entire coastline here in Nice where you can have beautiful views

We are on Avenue Jean Médecin and here is a really cool shopping street right here in the center of Nice and you can find shopping centers as well as shops on the street and restaurants it’s one of the main avenues of the city known for its elegant shops charming cafes and lively atmosphere

Where we find the Notre-Dame De L’Assomption basilica and if we walk a little further we reach Galeries Lafayette which is a French department store chain internationally known for offering a luxury shopping experience with an impeccable selection of haute couture brands. So prepare your wallet!

And after shopping you can go up here to the gallery and eat at the restaurant we are now here on the Promenade des Anglais which is the main street of the city on the seafront facing the Baie des Anges

It is the main point of the city of Nice here is ideal for walking and outdoor activities there are also festivals and here we have this view of the Mediterranean Sea and if we turn around we can see the tip of Cannes and Saint Tropez

Which are two very coveted summer destinations here in France the French Riviera during the summer it must be a true paradise for tourists who come to spend their money and enjoy the sun right here in front of the Promenade des Anglais, we have the Negresco which is the most iconic hotel in Nice

It is from 1913 and has that La Belle style époque I will show you some images It is an icon of elegance and luxury in Nice and a night can cost up to €350 for you to see this view directly from the Baie des Anges we also find other hotels like the West-End

When the weather is good and sunny everyone comes here to enjoy a beautiful day like today, the view of the beach here is an integral part of local life where the French enjoy outdoor activities as well as having this beautiful view of these old buildings

We also have here the Palais de la Méditerranée which is a palace here, look, a hotel and casino right in front of the beach in the golden age here on the French Riviera it was a luxury spot in the city it was also created in 1929

Its imposing facade is a striking presence in the landscape and we found some statues along the coast, such as l’Ange de la Baie, giving it a special value Imagine having breakfast right on the shores of the Mediterranean, here look where this restaurant placed the umbrellas there, the chairs

What a delight, especially in the hot season now it’s a little cold but even so the sun is enough to soften the weather a little, the view is beautiful! and here, close to the seafront, we find Alberto I’s garden which is a green refuge in the heart of Nice

A charming public garden that is ideal for a relaxed walk they also give you the option of taking this little train that will visit the main parts of the city, if you have little time and you want to see everything I advise you to take the train which is a very beautiful sight

It starts here at the Promenade des Anglais and you can check the train routes and prices directly here at the counter Another option for you to explore the city is the “Nice Le Grand Tour” which is this double-decker bus with the top floor open like many cities in the world

And this one you can also get right on the Promenade des Anglais which is this main street that we are walking and walking, it is endless very beautiful architecture for you to see and what do you prefer: taking the bus to explore all the tourist attractions at once?

Or feel every step and explore the city on foot? leave it here in the comments to know your preference and now we’re going to enter the old part of the city of Nice and I confess that Vieux Nice was the part of the city that enchanted me most

Being an area full of a labyrinth of narrow streets with restaurants and markets an unmissable place! Now we arrive at a street market right here in the old part of Nice very interesting with local and artisanal products I will show you some products

Located in the charming Cours Saleya, this market is a treasure of colors and fragrances providing a unique sensory experience in the heart of Nice where we find soaps and lavender pictures, paintings handcrafted products in addition to local gastronomy such as cheeses and sausages sweets and spices and 5 minutes from this charming market

We find an elevator that will take us to the best place in the city we’re already inside the elevator entrance, it’s free, so you can get in here easily and have a view from above It’s interesting that here in the elevator

We have several parts of Nice’s history and tell the story of the city’s development until it reaches what it is today, very interesting! it was founded by the Greeks 2000 years ago going through various influences such as Rome until it became part of the kingdom of France and became what it is today

And let’s take the elevator up! After we went up the elevator, which was free, we arrived at the top of the hill which is one of the city’s main tourist attractions, and from here we have a perfect view of Nice Look at this view from behind

The entire Baie des Anges in Nice, the entire city, Nice has 340,000 inhabitants it is the fifth largest city in France On the corner, you see the airport so if you follow this main street the Promenade des Anglais, you get to the airport and behind you you have Cannes

And after Cannes, you can see a little bit of Saint Tropez so it’s all here along these line it’s an impressive sight where the soft colors of the Mediterranean mix with the vibrant tones of the buildings that make up the Skyline of Nice

And we take the elevator down to return to the historic area of the city where we cross buildings like the Palais de Justice which features the famous phrase: liberty, equality, and fraternity and the cobbled streets of Vieux Nice are an invitation for you to explore it

Has charming boutiques, cozy cafes, and vibrant markets I was delighted with the amount of local shops that I I discovered here some products from the region with very colorful tones such as things for the home and paintings we also found the Cathédrale Sainte Reparate right here hidden in the middle of the city

As we continued exploring the historic center I found a very interesting little shop called Trésors Publics where we will find 100% articles Made in France with several brands that are part of French history highlighting the importance of supporting local and traditional production covering different categories

From stationery to crockery, perfumes, cosmetics, toys and groceries so I highly recommend stopping by here I also highlight the Chapellerie Elegant with its variety of modern and traditional hats to suit all tastes and styles and how can we not mention the famous Macarons?

Which are little treasures of French confectionery and you have to try it now by walking along the Promenade du Paillon, a public park that is right here in the center dividing the old part of Nice with the new part. I found the old part very interesting

And here you can go hiking, cycling, there are also some stands with small shops it is a very pleasant space right in the center of Nice and if you like museums, you can explore the Musée Masséna right here in the center with a collection of items

That highlight the history of the city with a special emphasis on the Napoleonic period and La belle époque and remember that lunchtime in France is different from Spain starting at 12pm and ending at 2pm, so be sure to taste the delicacies of France! and here, straight from Place Masséna

I’m ending this video for you, I hope you enjoyed the city of Nice it’s also a very good city for you to come to during the summer mainly due to the beaches of Cannes and Saint Tropez which are up here and that’s it ! Until next time, thanks!
