Our Brand New Camper Van | Rooty & Stoozer’s Campervan Adventures Scotland.

Volkswagon California Ocean. Campervan Adventures in Scotland. Well after after a lot of deliberation we decided to sell our cars and purchase a brand new Camper Van. We have always been attracted to Campervan Life and finally decided to take the plunge into the world of spontaneous Campervan adventures. We chose the VW California Ocean 6.1 primarily because it is economical to run and small enough to park on our driveway. We both love to explore our home country of Scotland and intend to explore the Western Isles and the Scottish Highlands this year. The biggest benefit of now owning a Camper Van is that we can beat the bad weather and set off on a spontaneous adventures at short notice when the forecast is good. Lovely brisk walk and I’ll show you the view later it’s spectacular the sun is shining but more importantly what are we having for breakfast sausages sausages nice cup of coffee and a sausage roll is it link sausages it is link sausages wonderful and for the second day of this

Trip we enjoyed a lovely afternoon in Dumar Town Center we would highly recommend the baron bull Cafe for a nice cup of coffee and a delicious piece of cake [Applause] The camping site is only 3 m from dumbar and White Sands Beach is less than a mile away Edinburgh is only 30 m away and a 29 M Drive will take you to bericap Tweed in North umberland the camping site is very spacious and peaceful with

Superb wide open views across the F of fourth the toilet and washing facilities are spotlessly cleaned and the staff were very friendly and so that was a nice we highlight of a really enjoyable trip to the camping and caravanning Club site at Dumar now I can overemphasize how friendly and helpful

The staff were there and the facilities really are fantastic so if you’re thinking of making a booking don’t hes hesitate you will not regret it my apologies for the appearance of my front tooth I broke it recently in a mountain bike in accident I’ve got an appointment

With the dentist to hopefully get it sorted out and my hair it’s a mess I’ve just got out of the shower after being on a mountain bike ride and it always sticks up like that reminds me of my mother when I was a we boy she used to

Say to me I can you do anything with that head of your son it’s got a mind of its own anyway here are a few Snippets of our overnight stays at comry Croft near pernin Ross and Glenn tress Forest lodges near pebles in the Scottish borders uh we didn’t stop at The Lodges

You can get it in the Cooperative so here we are at bright and early for a bacon buty for breakfast that was that was a good night last night wasn’t it in front of the Roaring fire Ry it Was ooh eggs too well we really did enjoy our stay at comry Croft which is only 3 miles from the village of comry and 4 and2 miles from the town of creef well our next overnight stop was at glenrest Forest lodges where they have some nice hardstanding pitches for camp Ofans and just look at that wonderful view of the Rolling Hills above beebles beautiful and this is our pitch for the night Again with a superb View all right Ry toti so here we are on our third camper van trip where are we oh we are at Glen and people Glen tress Forest lodges yes and we’re going to go on the green root aren’t we we are which is perfect for Ry

She loves green Roots don’t you I do it’s the only ones I can do not a all you’re better than you think you are but stoer big stoer if you love green Roots he loves them too so here we are at Glen dress Forest lodges stopping

Tonight in our new Cali ocean this place is great isn’t it Ry these pods are great aren’t they oh they are I’ve Just Seen inside one of them they’re very Spacious well I just could not resist the lure of the Red Trail while struy decided to continue on the green trail to the Buzzard’s nest gpath all right Paul thank you and been this for years areway Go Oh Oh So here we have David mie and David has promised me he’s going to subscribe to Big ster MTB haven’t you David like comment subscribe he’s my latest subscriber how about that well well well just look at this View Specac Well there was a diversion in place on the green route so routy had to turn back and return to the camper van so here I am dropping back down to the forest lodges to rejoin her Oh all right Ry well there’s a foot path all the way to the town of pebles so we decided to have a recycle into the town to buy ourselves a nice bottle of wine the facilities uh available at the Glen tress Forest lodges really are very good with very clean

Spotless toilets and uh shower facilities and also a drying room and this is the toilet and shower fa facilities very clean and very nice very impressed with it here and here we have it very nice can’t complain about the facilities here so by uh paying for the uh camper

Van to park for the night you don’t have to pay the parking fees if you’re here for the cycling that’s a good deal and so we retired for the evening to enjoy our dinner with a nice glass of s Blank And once again we decided to treat ourselves to a scotch pie brayy and beans Paradise N So be what does it feel like with a 6′ five glump
