Unless you play him again for those unfamiliar with uh the black country Derby how important is West Brom versus wolves mate everything like it’s all over Sunday either makes or breaks the entire season it going be a good season but it always be tainted by we lost to them
Would you would you rather finish sixth in the league and qualify for the Europa and lose on Sunday or just win on Sunday and do nothing the rest of the season just win on Sunday that’s big is it so Gary I’ve already asked you this
Once but you must be full of joy then knowing that wolves are very distracted by their Cup game on Sunday no not at all I think m underes is the exact opposite is to what that group of players is going to enjoy so not not looking confident to that one at
All in serious not Brad if it goes wrong is there a a kind of a serious concern that it will completely derail all the positive mode that there is about wolves at the moment um it’ll cause a big deflation for a while it definitely would but it might if the lost against
Them then they’d have to use FY as a platform to try and make up for it he won’t make up for it they’d have to respond in some way or another in a great Christmas period you Johny te to win three games but very creditable draw up Brighton Monday night

Kind of scale back from what his ideal philosophy was and we’ve seen some of it play out I mean your home record Bradley’s outstanding considering the opponents you’ve had really yeah it’s it’s the way we say it’s the way the Midfield is I think that’s been the
Biggest change it’s a dynamism in the Midfield we win the ball higher up the pitch so then the transitions are really fast to get into the opponents box and that’s why we’re scoring goals pretty much every game there we used to win it a lot deeper like in our own half now we
Tend to win it higher up the pitch and we get the reward yeah I suppose reflecting on it I mean the makeup of that’s really changed from your your kind of your very technical Midfield players like uh Nez and matinho for example to being yeah exactly what you’re saying actually bit

Year this year um God knows who yours would be Gary go on there’s an interesting question none of them uh don’t know would it be Bruno by default or no no the no seriously Manchester United Player of the Year who would it be Don not out ca who could you give it
To all have Dreadful Seasons Bruno by default I think I can’t really think of much else mate maybe maybe W saaka or D given that they’ve not given their low bases at the start of the Season they’ve both performed admirably considering what you would expect from them I don’t think of
Them were good enough though but yeah I don’t think anyone’s exceeded what you’d want from all the patrons were hoping he was going to say Harry McGuire or Scott mctom right well yeah but our patrons are clever than that and sorry your patrons are clever than that so they
Know that those two are not up to the level have they not been two of United’s better players this season uh to twist the knife there a bit I wouldn’t I wouldn’t say so I mean the got a lot of praise for playing well against Fulham and got a play of the
Month award because people felt sorry for the way they’d spoken about him previously but you know even when he was even the month he won the play of the Year award we got knocked out the champions league and The League Cup and you know and he was he was playing
Center back while we getting drubbed for by copen and things like that so I out of them have had a great season either had great games you know Tom played well against Chelsea but other than that we’ve done done not a lot I wouldn’t say but he s on 10 hard at the
Moment H same as I’ve done pretty much every time I’ve come on I think he’s just you want more from him you it’s one step forward two steps back with him all the time and this season it’s going even further and further back the other way and I think he’s
Probably been looking at this sort of 25% takeover that and the football supposed they’re in charge of the football inside of it so they might take a few weeks to assess what they want so I think he might last the season now but uh there’s no way he starts he’s the
Manager of United at the start of next season I think they’ll they’ll look to change to change that I I presume part of that would be you’d think that they’d want their own man right the new owners or call them new owners way or is it
What is it new new football owners or well well we don’t even know that do I mean they added that they’re new football owners but they’re not in charge the money are they so if these if inos say we want Diego Simeone and we’re going to go and get him out of the
Atletico Madrid contract well it’s you know this The Glades have to sign the money off so yeah we we don’t know how that’s going to look do it but I I just don’t think turn I mean well he could turn it around this season but there’s there’s
No signs that he can turn it around and and and get us to looking like that we might do anything next season so I think they’ll just shake hands at the end in in the summer and hopefully use this six months to find who they want ter your last nine
Results just to show you that kind of how jecko and hired you are I’m fre with Everton and most people thought because of the circumstance with Everton and the point seduction going into that is every chance you’d get bait and actually the end of it you ended up doing a pretty
Professional job in a very difficult circumstance and won very comfortably you then went to Newcastle and lost and despite only losing one nil you were pathetic really you got well then you batted Chelsea and put up I think at the time it was the highest
XG of any team in any game this season then following that he lost 3-0 home to buou yeah then you went to Liverpool and got a very credible nil nil draw yeah then you went to West Ham was pathetic lost yeah then you then you beat Villa
32 having been two nil down then you go to Forest and lose yeah and very recently the 2-2 with mine and I think this is where a lot of frustrations come in right I mean you couldn’t even get consistency from one game to the next a it’s good bad good
Bad just it’s all over the place isn’t it it’s it’s inconsistent during the games as well I mean I mean the one that you you referenced there by the end of it but in between G over kit when did you SC that over kit was third minute or
Something yeah but that last 25 30 minutes we uh we got absolutely battered um and people running through us all the time and um similar to what Brad just spoken about about wolves I mean you know well it was similar to the game Old Trafford like auna and that running
Through that Midfield Dori had uh toor and uh can’t think else playing for ever that day but just running through us and uh this is it we just like you say and then not Forest we you know dra performance but get ourselves back in it get one all and go concede
Another one it’s you know it’s it’s even game to game there’s just no consistency it’s and like you say you played really well against Chelsea to be fair and and Chelsea been Chelsea been pretty decent having these last few weeks probably last I don’t think the last
Team to beat him but certainly you know they’ve been they’ve played well since then uh I think Wolves beat them didn’t they on Christmas Eve did they but um and then you know we follow that up and we get absolutely batted by Bournemouth and yeah just there’s there’s no consistency there’s no
There’s no template there to like this is what we’re doing and it’s going to work and if if we have a bad day or we lose doesn’t matter because next week this is going to work and nine times out of 10 this will work it’s just scatter
Gun all the time the team’s different formation’s different center backs are different forwards different it’s just it’s just chaos all the time Bradley I presume you remember the game week one Monday night trip to Old Trafford with uh fondest that Gary referenced there and he’s certainly right the direct running through the
Middle of United is that something you expect to take advantage of again next week yeah probably but this I imagine that was just the start of Gabrielle Neil like they’re just probably just getting used to what he wanted to play as then now it’s a bit

Penalties it does feel like you have been really badly traded yeah that Wang one against newcastle’s bad yeah actually the one against Sheffield’s equally as bad because that was literally the week after and they apologized the week before so the one against Lut as well
Gomez hand ball that was a bit iffy just smack it at your hand and give yeah there’s a number gone against you personally I think that Anana was the the worst one though Gary is it a big problem then for that specifically I think we highlighted it quite early in
The season direct running centrally anyone who’s got a runner from Midfield who can run at you through cental areas is problematic right well yeah but I mean it can depend who’s playing there but no matter who we’ve got playing there it’s always going to be a problem because casemiro if he’s back which
Probably 5050 if that but he’s I think he’s might be unfair I think his legs have gone uh that’s what it certainly looked like this this C the year I’m sorry last C the year um momz tactically inep he doesn’t hold that position at all so because he goes
Wandering you know that makes it easy myu young lad he does he does play the position well but can’t do it by himself Erikson I think his legs have gone Fernandez as we’ve spoken about before he me he always means well but he’s a lawen to him himself as well
Um so it’s it’s always going to be a problem just because of the makeup of the because of the skill sets of the players involved and of the lack of Midfield system that we’ve got in there it’s just recipe for disaster if you even if we didn’t have an actual
Tactical shape in there but you had good athletes in there or that kind of thing you could counteract it and vice versa but we’ve got we’ve got nether so yeah uh it could be recipe what’s the resolution to that then like like what would you want him to do or was it a
Case of also In fairness that perhaps the Personnel was not there to be able to come up with a solution to that problem well I think I think now now we five months into the season I think we’ve got to take I think he’s got a take on the chin that the recruitment
Again hasn’t hasn’t gotten what he needed um whether he thought he could turn Mount into a a midfielder a proper midfielder I don’t know but mount’s not been fit whether he misjudged just how far over the hill kameo was was getting I don’t know obviously he’s got a lot of faith
In in Manu but you know he’s played Momin all season but with seemingly not knowing what what he wants to do with him um I suppose the obvious thing if we can which is I don’t think they played together is you would sacrifice one of the other attacking players and say to C
May and Manu you two sit in Midfield and let Fernandez play in front of you and and just have you know two two wide forwards and a and a stri that’s that’s probably the obvious thing that we haven’t tried let casmiro and Manu both sit and and try
And L LM to the end of the season with a bit of solidity there and and then go into the market again but yeah the amrabat I mean I don’t know what he thought he was getting out of amrabat but he he doesn’t look up to it either
And he’s he’s barely played so yeah I think that’s it isn’t it I think Casmir Oru that’s the last hope for any kind of Midfield shape otherwise it’s uh yeah Moman Fernandez ball and hit and hope have um have injuries been an excuse for this season you have had a lot yeah
But so you know you I think it’s arguable you can be I don’t think any PR Club really can argue about injuries rarely but I think if you’re Man United and you spent the money we spent on that Squad year after year after year I
Think look it might be a reason why you say oh we we finished second behind City and you go we can’t can’t do a title challenge with this because we’re missing these players but the idea that we’re eight n in the table or whever we are and limping from formation to
Formation and tactics it’s not it’s not an excuse to be eighth and Ninth is it um so give him a little bit of leeway but it’s not it’s not the reason we struggling is it I don’t think not the main reason we’re struggling conversely Bradley have you been a little bit
Fortunate on that front this year I know OB see Pedro net bad hamstring injury but otherwise it doesn’t feel like you had too many no it’s just a n one really it’s been the main one but we CAU pretty well that cabia finally turned up yeah against my team uh most notably
That then started a bit of a run it’s amazing our players seem to do that when it’s against your Club um I think Gary on in Ferness referenced it himself again at the weekend and said you know we have been a little bit fortuitous on on the injury front which you know the
Club deserves some form of credit for not having many injuries but the squad is a bit thin isn’t it Bradley that’s a downside and I know there’s lots of links to Strikers at the moment isn’t there with uh the liks of kic has gone on loan Fabio Silva’s gone on loan
Nether were getting huge minutes but O’Neal spoke about wanting to get a forward in on loan do you expect something um he seemed to hinted there was but if it comes to it I’m quite happy with KN and frer to be sitting on the bench okay what can you tell us about
Him most people won’t be familiar with him um he just like a proper number nine his physique for his age is the most impressive thing was when he came on against brenford I’ve seen him play quite a lot from 23 and he’s always look like a bully but against center backs
Like brenford and when he come on I thought this is going to be a good test now to see what he’d be like in the Premier League and he w a lot of headers he held the ball up well took his goal well and that was sort of the
Moment where I thought yeah this I can trust this kid I just I feel like if something was to come in now though it’s especially if it’s alone it’s probably for depth reasons isn’t it so look at the front three once bangs back from Asia cup which could be sooner than we
Think if South Korea end up playing Japan in the last 16 um he wouldn’t be available for next Thursday I don’t think the game would be next Wednesday but I look at the front three of hang kuna and Netto and think well that’s not getting dislodged that’s the best front

Really impressed with Kun and a bit of a bit of a throwback really you don’t often see sort of forwards like that anymore who pick it deep and and just drive through drive through teams you don’t really see that in the in the modern day really it’s all you know
Technique and one twos and and all that kind of thing so it’s been refreshing to see a forward who’s a bit more you know direct and a bit of a dribbler and things like that it’s just like I said probably a shame he don’t think with the saying in the Brighton
Game he got six goals this season which is it’s decent it’s not you know it’s more than any of our Strikers we’ve got but it’s not um you know if he if he was getting tens and TW I think there’d be already this season I think they’d be real real interesting in you
Know how’s your front man done Gary rusland he’s obviously scored a couple recently which is monkey off the backat isn’t it he’s still young yeah I mean he’s still young but this is this is what we said in the in the pre in the preseason one is that you you um we knew
This is what he was we knew he was going to be inconsistent and and probably only get 10 goals this season look his Champions League record was pretty decent but you know we had a we had a piss easy group really um but you know I thought his his winner against filler
Was a great finish his goal against your was a a really good finish but it was what second minute that’s you I don’t think he had a kick after that and some of that’s on him but some of it’s with what’s going around him you know I think
He’s got two two League goals this season but I think he’s actually something like three so you can no Striker can create especially in the the way Sim to I’ve just been speaking about no Strikers create chances themselves anymore really um it’s all about where they fit in a team and their movement
And come people find them and yeah so well he might end up being a player but probably unfair to judge him given what he’s been surrounded with this season with Fernandez off the boil and rashford way off the boil and well and Anthony Dreadful and and all the other
Things that we’ve we’ve seen this season we’ll come back on so then you back with us Brad yeah yeah I think that was just an audio problem I don’t know um I I wondered if you might have been trying to get your passport updated and get it changed from perhaps English to a

Player that should be playing higher it’s it’s the way your system moves that only really works with him like if you see it with the doc the other night it’s just not going to be the same way you can’t expect the ball carry and stuff
Like that but the way it chance where he ends up coming into left back positions and then obviously very much plays like a left Winger when you’re on the ball I just wonder in terms of his longer term career if he was I don’t know going to
Get sought after by a club that’s got a lot of money where they would foresee him being because there certainly question marks defensively as a left back and does he have a strong enough output at the top end to be a a kind of oldfashioned left Winger if you will I
Don’t know where the thing comes from about him defensively I’m pretty sure the last time I saw like the other 14 Stats come up he’s one of the top ones for tackles and recoveries he’s he’s not bad defensively I don’t know Tom’s right for a tackle he can’t pass though right
Gary I don’t I don’t if he can tackle either I don’t know what he does now go on defend your man Bradley sorry yeah I think that’s a myth a NRI I’m not really okay can’t remember making mistakes this season I think I think he’s had a great
Season but I do think there has been a perception of a weakness there in the past if he’s ironed it out of his game that with Sam though abely great one-on-one Defender I think I hope Nico doesn’t hear this I think he’s had a great season as well
Yes I he’s a really consistent player now he used to be like a meme when he first joined everyone I think everyone just thinks about the Barcelona 82 thing but he’s a very good player very consist that yeah yeah that’s all he sign some ma defend good
Season yeah he’s great been great very consistent Gary what is your best choice center backs if everyone’s fit she split that into two what do you think it is and what does ten har think it is well it the answer is it’s veran and Martinez by an absolute Street uh what
Tag thinks is God knows probably I think he thinks it’s them too I don’t know why he was was obsessed with playing Johnny Evans and veran can’t play at that side and blah blah blah but yeah I think hopefully he’s now they’re both fit hopefully just plays both of
Them and we don’t piss around anymore with did we ever get to the bottom of what happened with Varan because I know you’d said previously you thought they’d probably fallen out but he’s obviously back in favor now so he’s not falling out with him in the way that say Jaden
Sancho that’s obviously fallen out of yeah I mean I think by all by all reports it was that tag thought that Johnny Evans was better playing uh with his with his left foot and and Eric Tag’s style of football is so nuanced and amazing that he needed
Johnny Evans with a left footed Center back to play there and that meant that five time Champions League winner Rafael Varan couldn’t play in the team um but that’s yeah I think there was a I don’t know if there was a massive falling out but I think they look to get rid of
Veran at some point and get his wages off the books I don’t think they’ve offered him a a new contract yet um so as it stands I think he leaves in the summer so yeah very odd um and hopefully you know I’m not I don’t want
To we criticize United a lot for keeping High earning poor players for two long but I don’t think veran would fall into that category if he wants to stay you always need someone of that quality even if he can only give you 20 30 games of season
Just as a a mentor to a Martinez and whoever if we if we replace replace him with part with the news this month of what’s been happening with other clubs uh and I think this is relevant to you as well Bradley do you think there’s awareness though of getting that wage
Bill down at United I mean is the club capable of doing that well they’ve not shown themselves to be that capable of it previously uh they they’ve been poor at that I mean the names are endless aren’t they the players who stayed on and on and on uh
You know not going to go through all of them but we’ve been notorious supp of getting wages off the books and getting under underperforming players off you know off the books for a decent fee um whether that changes now with this new partial ownership and new football directors and whatever else we’ve got
Who knows but I mean it’s the 20 what is it today 23d what we on 25th I don’t know but we only got a weekly chance of window left don’t we so probably not GNA happen this this winter is it so um you can’t spend at the moment can you that’s the
Word no we are we we’re very close to we’re pretty much where we need where we are with the with the rules and yeah there’s not a lot of leeway um because we spent a lot of money in the summer we don’t earn as much as we used to earn
Especially in comparison to I think a lot of the other clubs have caught up with us commercially I think that’s probably more that it’s not that you don’t earn as much but everyone else has closed the cap yeah precise precisely and you obviously the the glazers don’t
You know you can top up 90 million a year isn’t it or they won’t we don’t they’re not they’re not going to put they won’t put 90p in never mind million inos coming in doesn’t change that is that correct not at the minute it doesn’t because
They’re not um I think any also said they they’re putting money towards the stadiums and things like that so that’s irrelevant to your uh your ffp and PRL all the other what what that means in short we covered this a little bit last Tuesday what that
Means in short is that a club like wolves can work towards a threeyear loss of 105 million yeah your Club Gary can only work to a loss of 15 yeah that’s what it means yeah yeah precisely yeah so you just you you’re inhibiting yourselves already and then
Like I said with the with the squeezing up of commercial deals where maybe 10 15 years ago when Woodward was in his pomp as it were and we were firing away you know we had commercial deals all over the world for all kinds of stuff that’s
It’s all that’s a level of playing field now and especially with other clubs uh circumventing the rules as well uh it’s all sort of merged into one hasn’t it it’s worth saying it’s interesting I know obviously there’s a lot of sympathy for Everton and Forest fans at the
Moment with what’s going on but your I talking about City but um I don’t have their sympathy for them quite to the same extent maybe there is for the fan base um but for you Bradley you kind of give the flip argument now in the sense that your ownership came out was honest
With you in the summer and said we can’t at the moment we’re on the edge of this basically we need to be sensible over the next 12 months and and you’ve you’ve abided by the rules right so how do you feel about forest and Everton considering you kind of sold 100 million
Worth of players in say Nunes and um and Nez and I realize you spent some but it’s another cut of other sales as well I think I think you’re about 50 50 million up in profit I think since last summer roughly I think I think they’ve
Got like some sort of 15 million under being going over the threshold or something like that yeah what what it was what was a problem for you I read a piece in the athletic that basically three years ago you actually made a really really big profit but that falls
Off at obviously at the end of this year for the next one that falls off so that’s why this year they’ve had to be they have basically you have to make I think it’s around about 11 million profit I think stay within the the free and obviously with the transfer business
You’ve done unless you decide to smash 50 million on a player in the next week which is unlikely then then you’re going to pass through that so how do you feel knowing that your Club hasn’t overstretched themselves when considering many of us including myself were saying you’re bang in trouble last
