[Applause] Well it is indeed welcome to the Coliseum for local Derby Championship Speedway as the Plymouth Gladiators take on the Pirates of pool now the last two teams that raced here were the Gladiators and the Pirates and on that occasion the Pirates went home with a comfortable victory that was in The
Knockout Cup this is for the league and this is where it really matters and that is the reason why that is Jason Crump the former three times World Speedway Champion and he is riding for the first time tonight for the Gladiators at home I’ve been out for quite a while with a
Very serious injury broke eight ribs in a match at wolver Hampton riding for ipswitch but we’re pleased to say here’s the clan him now fit and he is here today to face his old foes that’s right he is a former Paul Ryder as is bani Pon there’s also another former Paul rider
In the Gladiator side because they’ve also signed uh Zane kellia and uh he makes his home debut today signed from the poor Pirates the Pirates did bring in uh Andre satana but he is absent today and they are using Ryder replacement so plenty going on let’s go
And join Andy H who is side and hopefully going to grab an interview or two and then as always we bring you the teams and then all the action right from the beginning of heat number one it’s the Gladiators and the Pirates it is great to be joined by Zane kellerer
Making the debut for Plymouth today so um first of all how’s it feel now that you’ve uh wow you’re coming here to Plymouth against Paul tell us about it uh super exciting really I’m really looking forward to it I jail with the Plymouth track here first time around so
Uh really looking forward to getting on track and doing battle with the Pirates of course of all the tracks that you’ve ridden so far in the UK this is the one that you got your first race win got quite a few points on the board against
Plymouth as well so uh it must be a circuit that you like already yeah I think so I felt pretty comfortable here first time around so hopefully I can carry that on tonight and bag a few more points and uh keep being nice and consistent could be a difficult question
This but I’m going to ask anyway of all the clubs to go up against it’s Paul um has it got that little bit of an extra bite on tonight yeah I think so uh obviously it’s exciting anyway but um you know we’ll leave it on on track and
See what happens now we do know you got a big following on social media um lots of fans already gathering in the UK for you as well but also a lot of Support over there in Australia as well it must be great to know that you’ve got a lot

Buoyant because the boys are racing well for you so far yeah they are we got we got everybody’s performing well you know down down through the team and I think that’s that’s the key you know we’ve got Rory who’s come back off injury he’s he’s B bounced back straight back Danny

Yellow so this is a really important one here Alie B bit of extra pressure on him done remarkably well very very popular young man comes on up there in Essex long old track for home matches but he just loves racing his Speedway also ritten all the
East born eag started his career up at Rey house so here we go then starting Marshall getting them into line here Heat number two away he go first start there down the back stre Daniel H coming around the outside of him though good ride from H H takes over
The lead bow in second place Kook pushing him very hard there in third place running to the a good strp going on here but Daniel M really made a super pass down the outside on B number two and he’s pulling away still go down second place cook
Really pushed in very very hard trying to find a way through go into the P tur cook going out by really fighing here there but he’s not making any ground no count he’s not making any mistakes just a mid gap on the inside and just got off

One pirates with their noses in front I said they’ve already been successful around here and uh it’s a long old rivalry as we said in the uh cut competition that these two teams first met in 1948 so here we go way they go one got away this time war is in front

Speedway so what is going on here clearly red light around the race has actually been sto the red lights are run as well but it would appear that nobody’s actually seen them and there you have it and well it’s all happening here isn’t it so what was that all about looked like a
Very good start for warl but uh referee has deemed it an unsatisfactory start and warned Steven warl for Rolling at the start from refere right okay so from the gate St was J Jump and Stephan Nelson as well also a judge to a jump the
Start so wellow so we’re going to have a restart we’ve had an extra race there value for money is what uh you get down down here in deepest darkest dors or Deon I should say not insult the dors of course is where the other lot come from the old
Pirates so here we go they the restart all four Riders cook and RAM get a second by to the Cherry warl and Nelson both War for moving at the start here well look like a comfortable f one to the Pirates can the Gladiators benefit from this one here cuz if they
Could get something out of it here would be a real bonus certainly warl and neelson didn’t look like they were going to be caught so here we go for the second time of asking and again the outside there and again it is warl and nson who got the
Drop and nson was clearly moving that time and the referee has let it go this time as far as we know got another three laps before we can put the back down what that face it is cook at the back it is R cook trying to find a way up the
Inside and Nelson here really pushing him hard goes out wide there meanwhile got daylight in front with him still Nelson hanging on the second place and again gr trying to find a way up the inside he awfully tight there nson come right across the front of him
There down St warl is heading for the Victory and it looks like Nielson is going to hang on to second place unless cook can find a way around the outside he can’t the flags are out there they go over the line it is a 51 to the Pirates
Of Paul Steven warl it was who took the victory second place there went to stepan Nielson third place to Zack cook it is one point to the Gladiators is five to the Pirates and the lead is now six points to pouth 12 to P so we move on then to number
Four and uh well this is going to be a very interesting W de here because y Pon in the red helmet here and Luke Rik are taking on Danny King and Daniel Hume so it is really going to be very interesting to see what’s going to happen in this
One Hume was a super winner last time out we know what Danny King can do around here be Patterson on that outside gate is going to have to get across somehow and Luke rdik on the inside might find this one just a little bit too hot Pon is holding seedings up there
He’s on gate number three I should have pointed out Danny King is actually on the outside so it’s going to be a very interesting Run for the first time here we go away they go there and Daniel has gone in front Danny King comes around the allall pon
Goes through into second place H goes back to third but Danny H was so fast off the side now and it is G inle the way pson chasing hard in second place it’s going to take something very special to get past a b Bri Champion second down the B St King it is

To him two points go to Patterson one point there goes to Daniel H and the Pirates extend that lead now to eight points because they’ve taken a 4-2 from that one it’s pouth on8 it is PA on 16 and it looks like it could be a tough

Neelson so here we go then Pat number five h16 and well the Pirates looking to extend that lead the Gladiators looking to take the fight back can they do it in this one Here away there but coming ready outside roine sline takes over there second place at the moment in the star the only P back in third place somewhat surprising surprisingly miss the start and the back stepen neelson but Rory slide in the party for the home P here making sure the visiting fans have
A very enjoyable time one lap to go the PS and they well spread out on this one they come round the final two turns heading for the chicken FL LLY is who takes it three points to him two to cook one to penison three points to the
Gladiators three to the Pirates not what team manager Gary May would have wanted in from the technical substitute but that is how it’s finished it’s now 11 points to Li and 19 to Paul and the home side and use their techical substitute remember you could only do it once
So we move on then to heat number six and it’s Jason Crump in red Zane Kell is the rer in Blue in White Danny King and in yellow Ben Cook that is how they line up then for this race Heat number six Danny King against Jason Crump this
Should be a very interesting one indeed Crump inside gate King there on gate number two oh and King’s SC through the tank there the that might make a difference the red light’s coming on very quick and I’m sure he knows exactly what he done there and
Well not what he would have wanted let’s have a look at it oh you can see it quite clearly so Neil Mich has made a change he’s not putting King back off for 15 m c passing here very very difficult very tight circuit and uh he has bought
In Daniel Hume for a reserved ride so middle going with the reserves here in this one for Ben Cook is out there with him as well only real change he could make but H has been in good form so far’ got Crum and Kia to deal
With and cook on the outside there h on game number two so a chance here maybe for the homide to reduce that 8o deficit so here we go then green light is on got the drop there and Kell trying to get through the inside there cook coming around the outside into second place
Here goes wide on the bottom chain almost flips the fence Ker’s come through into second place to join start he’s at the back but it is the Gladiators one and two round the B turn Jason in front here for the home side the K up against his old Club here

Around Steven warl look very impressive in his first one he’s in the white helmet and in yellow Stephan neelson so here we go this is going to be very very interesting indeed here with warl and Pon warl on that inside gate certainly show some speed here here we go
Then there and it is p is gone right across the front of war and Nelson trying to get up on the inside now War went out of shape on that first turn but P he’s away nson there in second place W in third place R is at the back here so
