Tired to be honest yeah I’ve been covering quite large distances for the M you know considering the bike I got the weight I’m carrying car a lot of drink food a camera gear camping gear a lot of it on my back cuz I can’t put it on the bike absolutely shattered

Guys definitely it’s supposed to be a thunderstorm later as well again oh just had a change of clothes at that incoming storm right I think I better get a move on to Breen wow ready see the bre and beacons now back to mountainous Country back into puncher territory and so far as I said before no no punches and we got less less than 100 kilomet to go I think the whole Trail is like 420 or something like that it will be in the description anyway Breen coming into Breen town of

Breen is is Breen named after the Bren beacons or the Bren beacons named after Bren Masonic three Masons there so I’m going to restock at Morrison’s and I’m probably going to give the library a Miss cuz it’s not going to open till 9:30 I don’t want to miss as

Guys so it’s called the mm Canal it has got a Welsh name but I’m not going to be able to pronounce it interested bench going to take a rest here well I got this from Morrison’s in uh Breen for two quid I seen it 5 quid

Elsewhere in Wales on the way for two and I thinking no way two quids are bloody enough money but anyway it’s an energy one quite nice uh help me on the way um yeah I think this is part of the Taff Trail as well oh beautiful beautiful

Canal I’ve been I know I have been on it before on the camam way but I wasn’t too sure if I’ve been on this bit I don’t think I’ve been on this bit it must have gone a slightly different way when I was doing that but it does go on the cam bround

Way this uh canal and I go FAS in the bar boat okay hey oh okay so do I have to come off the canal here possibly I think I might have to do at some point and this according to this the tough Trail which I’m following at

The moment yeah cuz I’m going all the way to murville well to Cardiff we got to go through mura tville and Mur tville is either 21 miles probably 21 mil not kilometers I love these these uh what you call them these sort of bridges it’s like medieval sort of style bridge I

Guess it’s obviously not medieval it’s obviously been rebuilt loads of times cuz of floods but you know that kind of style styly okay guys looks like there’s a campsite up that way which I’m not going to starting to rain a bit I knew it well said it was going to rain

Today tough Trail down this way then you see these frog signs in uh places like Devon as well I don’t know about k i remember living in Devon you see them oh just it’s raining should I put my waterproofs on or not what do you reckon T Trail is this way

Apparently hope I got that right nothing worse than riding or walking very far in the distance had a little Library there I know what I should do use this bus shelter to charge my batteries up a bit right so yeah using this bus shelter to stop for a bit and charge me

Uh phone up cuz I need some navigation phone boxes just Ed bus stops actually it’s not a just Ed bus stop I just see this really cool bus stop thing look how modern that is Ros departures not getting the bus by the way but that is so

The moment while I’m away but I can’t be away too long it’s absolutely bizarre here from um not aware like certain place yesterday it seems like mostly you’re going down hill but that doesn’t make sense because Cardiff is still quite a long way in it uh there must be it’s like but

I’ve not been gaining height that much I’ve been going up some hills but it doesn’t seem it seems to be more going downhill than going uphill but so I’d hate to be coming from the other way so my my thoughts so far the trail the bicycle ride is probably easier from

Going from the north to the South I so bar there oh am I back on the uh old canal it’s the mmere canal by the way guys don’t know which way I’ve got to go now I got cross here some more of the M Canal for you

Going to have to Camp before mura which isn’t that far away cuz it CU it all gets urbanized after there so yeah oh let par Park here a minute and uh the plan is from from wherever I camp tonight which is not going to be that

Far away to be honest because like I said it’s I can’t Camp somewhere it’s Urban I’m going to get up super early a night ride down into um Cardiff get up like really early and test out my uh new o light bike light uh cuz I want to get the train fairly

Early okay we got a sign coming up looks like I might have to turn here oh the tough Trail is going one way and the right Trail is pointing in that way okay who so apparently there’s a yha up here Old Barn t rooms T trail goes up here

That’s what I’m on still actually and the uh bicycle route 8 I think guessing the yha is up there and I’m guessing I’m going this way I don’t see any signs pointing it up there hiali Village UK okay I did see a bicycle sign there but I don’t know which way it was

Turning going to have to check this don’t know what that doesn’t say the Pary Village does it there’s a phone box and this is where the wire changes that first s was really misleading H is there a phone in there yeah there actually a phone in there phone Bo turn the right

Way I wonder which way I’ve got to go any bike signs no Public Access okay no Public Access right I think I’m going over this Dam here so knacked so tired okay so the still keeps in hosital signs it’s like how many hosital signs do they need like for the last like

Couple of kilometers howy hell and there we go Road road ahead closed well I got to go this way guys it’s the only way I’m going to get back murville 15 miles right let’s go oh this is cool may I care if this road is closed

I’m going this way no one stopping me it could be tree falling or something who knows hopefully not a landslide that’s blocked away I need to get to mura also it’s going to be better option for camping along here so if any of you guys want to read that pause

It what it said Road closed see some people doing something down here just saw a biker go along the road up there so God knows is it health and safety insane health and safety probably sometimes it isn’t sometimes the road tracks are pretty much impossible but a lot of the time like it

Really is nothing somewh nothing I don’t see any problem with this R so far oh well I don’t know how deep this is okay don’t know if there’s any potholes here sorry hey which where have I got to go i’ got to go along this path or this one up here

Oh yeah all right often you come to bits that look like they’re going downhill where in fact they actually probably going up hill gravity speaking wise just it’s like an illusion like you think you’re going down but it’s actually going up plus the fact I’m carrying a lot of

Weight from Breen with food and drink extra weight so it’s actually easier to push the bike at the moment especially on this terrain as I said this is not an off-road bike it’s more of a it’s a cheap commuter bike more fun bike not like uh for adventure

Riding across the country like I’m doing you can just about see the uh not lock we’re in Wales uh Lake um Reservoir I guess and I’m pushing the bike along here and it is raining still so last a bit feels I think this is going downhill I know whether I should pump my

Tires up a bit more because of the weight I’m carrying I can fill the rim of the wheel sometimes carrying a lot of weight and still no punches guys no punches I punches high up on it so I’m going along here then right over in the middle of this

Shot is where the route go well yep m c brownway goes up right over there and Carries On goes over from here from the there’s a train station up here and you can uh it’s like a touristy steam train I think you can get it to up here then you can walk up

To pen wife f it takes a lot of time out of to walk all up from murville God I am so tired so so tired how cool is this what the hell is it y I’m not no idea maybe an old mine or something maybe an old mine uh mine um

Yeah it’s very Echo that’s pretty amazing so that was uh old raway tunnel up here something to do with the tsy train station that’s up here I think have to look that one up see a camera on my Side Uh back on the uh Cameron right here with my bike trust the out side okay so now I’m coming to well i’ got to be careful here that does not like my tires um so we got a turn here and there just there here yeah show you quickly think it’s closed I’ve done

Um mura I guess I’m gu this way this is the T trail that goes all the way to mura uh but I’m going all the way into Cardiff obviously bit farther just a bit So the plan is to Camp up before the next Village which is Pony s I think was

Less than six miles and uh get up at 2 in the morning and test out my headlight and hopefully get to Cardiff at a nice time in the morning I just don’t want to yeah I can’t go any further cuz it’s it’s too urbanized for camping that’s

The problem so which way have I got to go oh see my bike does not like this stuff does not like it so might even probably should push it down here to be honest which is really annoy what the if I just come to a dead end or

Something it’s going to have me the best roast chicken Presto rocket or what I’m starving I’m just going to wait it mate and I’m having a double espresso to wash that uh lovely baguette down with old barn te rooms down this way I can see I can see

It from where I was uh sitting just now some waterfalls over there for you I’ll be glad to get the tent up I’m telling you out of this rain it actually rained last night and the T didn’t leak so I was in trees I don’t how much how much the difference that make

But yeah temper is fine Old Barn t rooms signed again tough Trail ask py still 3 miles that’s the next what it’s a village I think it’s even got a shop but I need to Camp before that Village okay so I go up this way then got to turn

Here just heard the Train by the way it’s on the other side of the rest okay so I’m going up here hopefully somewhere to Camp up here oh Le the bike’s clean well not s anywhere to Camp yet but my idea was there’s a bit on the map where

There’s a stream I got some pop noodles I’ve not ate yet i’ got two I thought if I camp there I can even make a coffee like I’ve got I can make some some warm coffee like with the water you know that’ be really cool we shall see

Day there’s no better treat than a pop noodle is it guys I got this on the way it uh snack I’ve got other food as well but I’m going to eat this now before it starts lightning love the sound with the uh gas stove we got the coia gas stove

Using the cheap gas bottles again with the um adapter now it’s summer I don’t really need expensive those expensive camping gas bottles with the uh cozy and guess what I’m having another pop noodle as you see I’ve just just had one with some bananas so this is my uh satellite

Messenger I use where there’s no signal there’s no signal here so if I press this button here it will track me um I think every 5 minutes it send a tracking um that notification to where I am but you can increase that depends what subscription you got with it you

Have to pay a subscription for this um I think mine’s about €300 from for a year so it’s not it’s not cheap and then there’s SOS button so if I need rescuing um I can I open this up and press a button I’m not going to do it obviously but there’s a button

Underneath here and uh you press that to the rescue the keypads to send text messages uh with my package you get um I think 120 text messages in a a year and anything cover I have to pay extra for but you get you can put on the um

Account on the website 20 predefine text messages and if you select any one of those 20 ones to send some friends or relatives or whatever you don’t pay any extra to send those so for instance I got one that says I found a camping spot I’m okay so I sent that

Predefined one didn’t cost me any extra so that’s really cool uh the battery in it lasts AG B ages like quite a few days without being recharged again if you leave on tracking while you’re hiking the whole day uh it’s really really good device um

It works cuz I just sent a message here I’ve switched it off now but uh yeah I’ll put a link in the uh description uh for this it’s really if you if you got a relatives or friends who worry about you when you go camping off in the Hills where there’s no phone

Signal this is ideal I know a lot of people use the inreach but the inreach service costs a lot more money than this and spot works really well in the UK so if you’re in the UK most most places it will fine you have got but as with any

Satellite service depending on where the satellite um is in the sky in the Horizon if you’re if a hill is blocking that satellite it’s it’s not going to send the signal but in general I mean it’s hilly around here on most of the time it will send the messages highly

Recommended so I’m going to have some coffee my favorite coffee bags by the way and I’m going to have some Greek robust herbal honey I wonder what sort of herb it is folks I might like this okay these are the uh Power Banks i

B with me this is a Omi 20 it’s quite had it for quite a few years now good old Power Bank charges really quick at 60 5 wats or something like that with this charger charg is pretty quick uh this is the best one got recently this anchor uh I think it’s

Called anchor Cube It’s a massive power bank and it will charge in less than an hour cuz it charges 120 wats and of course by USB uh Power direct and this is a 120 W power direct USB charger but I’ve not had the chance to

Recharge on this trip and then this is a this one uh recharges at uh 65 wats it’s a another Power direct was quite cheap actually this one uh but the uh things come loose the charging thing so it’s a bit awkward to charge sometimes and for

That I’ve got this uh I think this is 100 this could be 100 watt I think charger USB power direct charger and then I’ve got this cheap very cheap uh Power direct I it’s about 20 wats power probably charges at 20 wats as well and I’ve got this

Uh M Power Direct One total 65 Watts um and they’re just the power Banks I’ve bought with me but I’ve got spare batteries from the Drone the mavic mini free Pro I’ve got had this for over a year now very good drone although I crashed the original one and they’ve

Sent me out a new one I’ve got a C direct whatever it’s called and um had to pay I think 60 to get it replaced for a new one and it was really good it was replaced very quickly um so that’s that’s my drone uh electric pump I I’ve had to

Resort to for charging my phone up cuz I’ve run out of power and all these power Banks cuz I’ve not charged up the whole way and I’ve done so much film filming and use so much power on my phones I’ve got this old GoPro 8 as well

I’m filming with a DJI action oo obviously I can’t film that and film this at the same time uh got a pixel 5 there I think that’s a pixel 3 uh was going to use it for food delivery by the way folks um I’ve done no food delivery like

I originally planned the none of the places did it on the way they were too small and the only place really is now when I’m coming up for like the uh cardi area um but I just haven’t got the uh battery power and to be honest I’ve been carrying way too

Much this is the inside of my tent I’m about to clear it up by the way it’s a bit of a mess at the moment trying to sort everything out my bike helmet my bike I parked up by a fence away from the tent cuz it’s supposed to be lightning I

Don’t really fancy a hunk of metal right by my tent if it’s lightning um I’m not sure if that’s a good idea to have it right by my tent in that situation and my uh my camera tripod i’ put up there as well cuz that’s metal so I want it

Away from the tent wire there’s a lightning chance of lightning and then that’s my cool bag on the back of my bike got some food in there there some food in this cool bag as well uh clothes here so yeah this is inside the tent a bit of a

Mess at the moment I’m afraid oh and I’ve got another little emergency phone it’s supposed to be lightning later hope not I’m 350 no 380 M High here so it’s not exactly the highest point um I’m just off the uh the right Trail line weing it’s also part of the tough Trail

Uh went past the uh yeah the uh tourist TR station um good little camping spot it was a bit hard to get to you seen that um stupid Gates but I managed to get the bik through hopefully going to be able to do that in the morning when it’s dark I

Want to get early start in the morning and hopefully the weather is okay I I can’t get we report herez it’s no signal the any way I can send messages and stuff from here is with my uh satellite device
