Hey what’s up everyone welcome to the bike check of my new bike of the firecracker which I use for my strive Project so we’ve got here the canyon torque with 27.5 Wheels rear and front and uh this bike is a size medium just because I prefer having a bit of a smaller bike and uh it just feels a bit more maneuverable for me so um just an overall better feeling

Special thing about this bike I mean obviously the color the design of it this one is called the firecracker because we were looking for something which is a complete contrast to the environment where we are as you can see there are a lot of details when it comes

To the design here we’ve got the firecracker face um where the teeth are basically my name and it just looks uh like a bit aggressive motivated it’s just the exact face you make when you’re riding down the strive here we even got the mura mt7 brakes in custom paint

Which is also really nice detail and just in overall with the red rims with the Erin spk um with the fire design on it I think it’s just a very complete design which is super poppy for the video and for photos but the biggest difference to every other bike are of

Course the tires we’ve got here prely Scorpion tires uh on this bike but as you can already see they’re not just normal tires so we we’re trying to find the solution how we can make it as grippy as possible and that’s when I call Frank it’s on he’s a i Speedway

Legend and he knows everything about spikes he’s got the craziest spikes in his tires so I phoned him up and I was like Frankie do you have any idea of how we can make this setup work for the things I want to do here fore okay is

This perfect so we decided to go with two different versions we’ve got 8 mm spikes and 6 mm for super steep stuff I wanted to have longer um screws which have a bit more traction and for big jumps where the pressure is more straight on the ground I wanted to have

A bit of um just shorter ones so it’s simply a bit more safe tire pressure was running around three bars um really tried to make it super stiff um quite a lot of air into it so the screws are really sharp and are perfect in place to

Keep me a bit more safe from the spikes we put a fender on it as you can see the spender already has seen a couple of uh development stages and uh it looks a bit it doesn’t look good anymore um but this one definitely saved my saved my bum a

Couple of times a major part for how the bike feels in such an environment is of course the setup of the suspension you’ve got here earin suspension rear and front in the back it’s a coil shock with a a coil of 570 which is actually like really stiff it’s the stiffest one

I could find which I actually really prefer especially when you’re having big jumps you don’t want to have the bike being too soft one thing you’re probably missing on this bike are gears so we decided to um put single speed on it simply because I don’t really need to

Pedal it’s super fast super Steep and uh there’s no point in pedaling it’s going to save some weight and um it’s not causing any troubles one problem we’re facing in the low temperatures where actually the brakes started to freeze so you can imagine the brakes get warm snow

Gets on it and then the snow starts um actually freezing onto the disc so every time before I was riding I had to make sure that the brake is warm that everything is warmed up and then the setup was properly working so of course we didn’t just want to make the bike

Look good also the setup I’m wearing uh should fit to the project so that’s the new helmet as you can see it’s uh shiny it’s in Chrome it looks really nice a lot of details on it just as on the bike and um we even got the in the back here

This is the mountain go which you see everywhere around here in this area and just fits to the SL to the project and gives the helmet yeah very yeah a special meaning and uh next to that we’ve got more flames in the front just

As on the bike and um of course we also had to have a g to make sure the project is going to be good so even the gear we had to design it just as the bike it’s the 9 yard Gear with the logo and fire flames just looks really nice it’s just

So poppy for all the videos all the photos matches so well to the bike and uh I think just in no it’s a really cool look all right guys that’s it from the bike check of a firecracker hope you enjoyed the video see you next time

    1. Did you have any problems with the tires spinning on the rim while braking,
      When I did this on
Mount Snow VT during the 2004 X games my tire would spin on the rim and shere off the valve stem, I could only half brake and or lots of feathering of the brakes, Please don't confuse it with feathering your girlfriends on the lift ride home.

    2. First time when my friend tell me about Fabio new is out there and when I watch it the outfit looks like MACDONALDS delivery boy….😂😂😂😂……but one is that this bike looks like FLAME KAISER

    3. Good to see I'm not the only one staying faithful to tubes! I always carry an extra tube in my backpack, so I can easily change it if I get a flat. What do tubeless riders do when they get a flat?
