Hello and welcome to the mywo Sunday race club with four race starts we’re going to start with our category four Riders then three two and one our Riders lined up in yellow that is our category one riders in green our Category 2 in blue Category 3 and category 4 in red we

Turn left and we go up the climb that features in the parameter circuit LC allport does what lukot does heads off the start very fast he’s off the front and and he’s pushing on early I tell you something anybody who has not warmed up properly is going to be cursing Phil

Graves because they are going to be there going what the what on Earth why just why this is just electric at the moment so kerine trying to cross the bridge to M popovic and yams with three Riders out front now for nson now picking up the pace because he wants a

Bit of the action category three leaders at the moment Kara looking good weaving his way through the park here of category four riders in the red at the moment canara on a bit of a mission here this is the reason why it’s a perfect example of what happens when the

Momentum picks up these Riders are traveling at 95 kilomet an hour on the downhill section here and they continue to dig a quick glimpse of all four categories at the moment remember this is a 40 5 km race just over 5 km to go for our category 4 leaders 600 M

Separating them category four at the moment right hand side of your screen are nearest and dadson and Alla are together this is the Run for the lion DA’s kicking but he’s eased and he kicks again I think he wanted to see whether he’s getting a response he has but it’s

Not much I think Dadson’s got the pace he’s got the power well done Mar dson it’s a win here to [Applause] day hello and welcome to the mywo Sunday race club it’s qualifier number three last chance salom for our Riders to make it through to our finals next week my name’s Matt P I’m going to be putting the words to the action here in our Subterranean Studios with the one and

Only Emma Martin Emma we’ve just seen an absolute fly of women’s race in fact they were on the same circuit the men were on last week brilliant to see the action very different though we still basically across in the Pacific we’re down in the southern hemisphere Wen gong

Today take us through the route oh Wen gong’s a great course so we are in Australia on the Wen gong course 45 kilometers of racing 704 meters of climbing three category four climbs they are indeed the same climb We Go Round We Go Round And We Go Round again Wen gong

Climb 1.9 kilm in length it is 5.1% average gradient but take a good look viewers because it goes up it drops down and then it kicks again the first kicker goes to 10% the second kicker goes to 177% Yes you heard that correct and along the way well this course is not

Flat anywhere in fact fact there is more climbing outside the three categorized climbs than there is if you add the three categorized climbs together it is a constantly rolling bumpy climing attacki style course I’m not going to put any letters to that like we have for

The Colombian FB section that would be a lot that would be a world’s biggest let’s crack on with our Riders and our race fields now M has taken us through the course and um let’s dive in with category four in the red they are our standard category the Anzac team here

Noak Kari Francis jabones in there Mighty do represented by C Grandy and cron in there we’ve got spiny with finti and burrito and the upcycled squad well we know that they’re going to be very very strong on the Clin quadrelli Lloyd cman and mayard but this is a

Monstrously huge race base field here today 57 Riders on the start sheets in category four today it was upcycled who finished second in the team competition to the bearhouse sport club in the December final by just 59 seconds so the competitive front end of this category for fied so

Close category four are in the pen the lights are green and away away go category for they are the first men’s field to start today this is qualifier race number three in January 2024 the last time to get a qualification in for next week’s final so our runers are away here this is

Category 4 before we get to the first little kicker of a climb we go along this flat section round the left Round the right and onto that climb where we know it’s going to be under pressure Emma 57 Riders I took us through some of the the Riders in the scenes but it

Really is tough stuff we know Luke hot’s on the attack he basically watched last week’s show to see Luke hot attack then copy and paste it into this week’s show because that’s exactly what he’s doing oh he’s always good off the front he is a name though that has to be reckoned

With throughout the race route it’s not just a flash in the pan from the start not at all he finished in second position last week to mark dadson that was on the Outer Loop in Australia as well this is wol and gone course so slightly different but still allport

Will be strong Mark dadson took the win last week Pino finished in fifth place we’ve already talked about cman and May from up Cycles but londono is here mcry is here uh Caro is here Mamba drumard Ain is here you know these Riders In the Mix Montoya is also on the start sheets

There’s a number of different Riders and take a look at that you can see on the bottom left of the screen Luke alport in his garage uh on the bike as well as on the screen leading this race that’s no longer garage that is a workshop I love

That and I tell you something he’s tidier than mine well he’s absolutely he’s putting the power down in that Workshop C garage compa cave whatever you want to call it because Luke hulot is on the front of this race but he’s got company now Marcus Britto is up and sweeping around this right

Hand bend on the bridge and they about to hit the first kicker on this will and gone course this kicker goes to over 7% and it is indeed where we see attacks and that move by allot he always goes out hard from the start he does it with

Basically with ease I think I think I think is the word either both all everything I don’t disagree with that at all I 100% but what it does do is it means that this the race you always doing C 4 pretty much going to go from

The G because if Luke doesn’t do it somebody else else will now onto the climb this first climb is the first separation point you can see that at the front of this we’ve got John the back with half as well as Dort Lano in the noxx in the Newman’s in

There it’s going to be a very quickly rotating cast but this is a tough tough route it is indeed a tough tough route and uh we were just talking about all ports pain cave look at that back is in there as well with the microphone on as

Well as can talk to his teammates or talk to someone whilst he’s doing it so John if you’re watching and I’m pretty sure you are CU you just gave us the signal John that was a fast start were you expecting that are we going to get a

Thumbs up for Yes and a thumbs down for no did he expect that we we’ll find that or is he just listening oh yeah okay the question for me is going to be yeah definely he’s absolutely got this down now he’s gonna also be listening I’m

Sure you don’t have a coms like that unless you’re talking to your teammates that is going to be key isn’t it well he’s talking to his teammate makes at the moment and he’s pushing on the front here smithson’s there Lion’s there colombari is there Aon is there as well

As it is indeed half two pushes on on this section now we talked about pain caves Jeff Rooney from catall has been in touch this morning telling me that his pain cave is actually a pain container excellent like a shipping container like a shipping container wow so if you’re racing and riding from

Somewhere interesting get in touch at biking Emma let me know send me a picture uh let’s see where you are racing if the snow is 6 foot deep outside get in touch as well yeah it might not do wonders for the electronics in your turbo trainer we’ll see how our

Riders in category three deal with the snow we’ve got the draft team here with niol canaro who we saw in such good form last week the Italian espresso strength in depth then on a quintuplet espresso this morning with Ron C killer bont manela Bal and kumano obviously being

Coffee one of my favorite teams irrespective of how well they do and we got level racing with Roy Bradley and bed in there representing the level racing race team another big field as we go into Countdown the power will be starting to get in applied that

Acceleration is key and it’s time to go Category 3 underway and out on to the this is critical moments get out the pen get in that Bunch it’s flat it’s fast and there is a massive advantage to being in that pack there’s a massive disadvantage not to be sat in the wheels

Making the most of the draft get those numbers in green on the top of the screen you know that it’s going to be good I love it when the pack is rolling this pack rolling so far so up to 50 km an hour within 200 M of the start pen

This seriously is a go go go we’re in with Ola Warren at the moment now I think the Italian espresso had their coffee last week because kaligula and Monella took second and fourth place taking third place was Nick sari at first place canara from draft but we’ve

Got a number of other riders in here today Neville Ross is here daut is here Kirk abello Toretto is in the mix noera is in here as well and Tom Gates who’s been doing really well also now kirner deuan elos I could keep going 54 Riders absolutely phenomenal in fact I think

We’re going to be able to drop in with Hoyos right now we can do indeed so riding on the pain cave in the room by the curtains with the window open you need as much air circulation as you can get yeah definitely going got gloves on out that which I guess

Going to be really good for wiping away the sweat as well water bottle rehydrating already good to see different techniques from Riders some Riders prefer I’m going to put my hand up here to have their standard water bottle in they good practice for the muscles to get the water bottle out

Other people like their water bottles on the side of them not in their bottle cage Emma’s raising a hand in the studio for that one uh different techniques different ways of riding let’s see who is going to be to make their style pay today out on the course we go in towards

The climb this is the run in up in two Town heading up and through let’s see how they go this is where it starts the kick this is the kick and we’re in with C Bry at the moment you can see him up and out of the saddle and pushing on

Those pedals because this gradient now kicking over 7% needing to stay in the pack needing to stay at the front of this race he is moving up this climb with the group as we start to see the stretch back down and very comfortable there really interesting out subtle very

Economic in his effort not rocking and rolling about not throwing that bike about not really using that upper body he’s a light Rider he’s sitting super smooth in technique there and standing in a very static position so basically tapping that away he wasn’t really having to force the pace however the

Pace is quick we see Riders off the back and we’ve got Riders going off the front we have indeed we’ve got Riders off the back here and is malis Bala Bradley is right up the front so is canara the winner from last week Tres out is in the

Mix too so is deuan said deuan would ride well so as Neville Ross but it is miam males who is pushing on the front here gone clear of the pack over the top of that climb and dropping down the other side now my expectation is that

This group will come back and come back to malice very very quickly it’s just three seconds at the moment probably going to try and do whatever he can to stay clear for as long as possible but that pack is motoring at PACE and you can see the difference in the power

Required when you look at the numbers that malice is having to do on his own on the front and the group we talked about that the other way around in the women’s race because we had a leading group and a chasing solo Rider but malice is just the same thing has

Happened here malice out front around 4.7 Ms per kilo really digging deep trying to stay clear the ch ing group doing 2.83 but the size of the group and the momentum that that brings with the draft uh really just making that catch so hard to be a lone Rider and stay away

From a big group like that well quadrelli you’re also doing the same here in category 4 as well here Emma this is sometimes it’s just easier to set your own pace isn’t it and you just want to roll at your own pace follow your momentum you’re certainly not going

To break or ease to too much you want to make the most of of that effort and it does mean that if you on the front when you drift back you drift back to the front of the group rather than being at the back of the pack where if you get

Have a little bit of a pause you take a little bit too much of a a a gap in your effort you’ll go out the back of the group and then you got to chase back on it’s better to be on the front and come

Back than be in the group and go out the back you never want to go out the back you want to work your socks off to stay in the group and ideally what you need to be doing uh if you’re thinking about riding and racing the Sunday race club

Is getting onto my woosh and constantly trying to practice riding in the draft and staying in the draft and moving around the pack staying in those green numbers because if you look on the top of the screen uh currently we’re looking at andrees londono uh currently 266

Watts in the green tightly in that bunch and the green is not changing indicating really been practicing that technique yeah got it D hasn’t he sat in there sitting behind the wheels that just as you find if you racing on the track or racing on the road uh the guys in the

Tour down under where the UAE CL team uh the UAE team emirat team has started its Race season and the adq team uh heading out for the women’s race and they will practice that endlessly it is a skill you need the second you let it go it is

So tough so tough to get back into the Greek we’ve just got to let that Gap go on the back and all of a sudden you are in trouble and that critical modulation of power that getting the timing of that right is an absolute art form you find

That on the V drone something I’ve written plenty of when you’re it varies where you are on the stakes whether you’re on the bank whether you’re on the transitions how far up the bank what gradient it’s at on a Val that’s a fairly fixed course here it’s varing

Going up and down dramatically now I think we can drop in with Jeff Rooney so Jeff in here in category 4 he’s looking like he’s got that absolutely one I’m sure that’s a fan blowing on him from the back as well as the front there well you need as much air circulation as

Possible because it gets hot hot hot riding indoors that is the metal roof to The Container we were talking about earlier Jeff had indeed got in touch with this pre-race uh take a note from Jeff’s book and get in touch and let s send us a video send us a picture show

Us where you’re riding because Rooney is up and out of the saddle and pushing on on this little rise here as the group roll onto the downhill and you can see out of the saddle you see Jeff get out of the saddle they use his strength to

Push through over that little Riser then into the next downhill where he sat down again anyone who thinks this is if you haven’t ridden on an indoor B if you think you just sit there and turn the pedals around oh no no no no you’ve got

To use your muscles you’ve got to use your smart wraith brain to stay in the right place you’ve got to use absolutely everything reactions a key you only need one Rider to go on the offensive Tong Gates here and then you can see nickel canaro quickly reacting that so it’s

Could is you react slowly to this you could be out the back and then you’re in that danger zone again it’s really tricky in terms of tactics you know in terms of thinking on your feet do you go with someone attacking do you sit in the

Bunch and others to do the work you’ve really got to think about what serves you best you know do you sit there and conserve your energy and and trust that others in such a large group are going to shut this down now this is such a large group at the moment and they

Somebody else will pick up the mantle and shut it down but you have to trust in that and trust your own tactics and your own belief and your own knowledge uh in terms of the racing so this is the category three race they’ve just gone under the banner for the first Sprint

That’s the city beach Sprint this Sprint 300 M in length and in fact the Riders do this three times as well so the Category 3 race now really pushing on great to see so many riders sending in their messages into to us please do get in touch so there’s some critical

Tags we would love you to add to your post to your pictures number one it’s my wosh at my wosh on Instagram Facebook it’s my _ woosh on X well used to be known as Twitter tag in at biking air tag in ATM fix of pain even better give

All three of those a follow we promise you we don’t spam you we so we try and keep it totally relevant to everybody we cover a lot of different disciplines it’s great to see people getting involved with all of them and we get engagement from lots of our teams

Hubbards for example with Oya r v har C and Winfield chck with those guys we have the Hitman team in here cam whitfield’s for the Hitman he’s always one of the great rers who gets in touch UAE Falcons we got alagi arthri and hamen one of our ever present he’s

Always very very strong a Bitcoin gates for the wattage Warlock and they’ve got the wattage Wizards as well with bson crich May and Van he well the Wizards absolutely dominant uh third for bankon last week fifth for van heat as we see the green of go the green of Category 2

As they head out of the start pen today out onto the wool and gone course they start 10 minutes behind Category 3 15 minutes behind category 4 and 5 minutes in front of category 1 so our Riders away we are with Category 2 up and on to

The course the same start and this flat section from the pens to the first Riser is about 50% of the only flat section of course on the enre route when you do this route so I’ve I’ve ridden this route quite a lot because I actually really like this The

Climb is not too long it’s it’s it’s it’s it’s steep it’s steep but I can deal with the Steep bit just Thug it out and just close your eyes and know that it will end there if you want to know my policy on climbing and that all climbs

Will end eventually watched last week’s show but it is for me a route that is really hard because it never ever rests there’s nowhere the the downhills are hardly long enough to take a breath if they are long enough to take a breath and get some recovery they’re so long that

People have recovered and they attack on them and then when you are on those CLS they’re quick they’re short to punch you which is great but the desense is super short as well so you’re just not getting recovery in there it’s really hard and then you hit this long flat section and

There’s always somebody when you ride this that will go hard when you come around remember that this race route we have three Summit climbs to the top of well and gong and it’s the finish at the top of the third climb so we come down this straight we do this half straight

On lap one we do the full straight on laps two and three and on that straight on this flight and going in here somebody always rips it up on laps two I know when everybody else is thinking they’re going to be able to take a deep

Breath well if you like Matt want to ride in Australia head over to my.com download the app if you haven’t already and jump on board get riding across the myosh worlds if you want to join us on the Sunday race club head over to the events page click on the Sunday race

Club now is a good time to take a look at the information you’ll find on there the technical guide the information around verification the rules and the rule set because you’ve got we’ve got the finals for January next week which you need to have qualified for join us

In the first week of February I’m wondering whether we can get the men’s race to over 200 on a Sunday or will we see the women’s racing tick over 100 entrance every Sunday first going to be interesting to see which comes first who will join us who’s going to be in with

Us we can’t wait to do our homework on you so please do join please do get in touch whether you’re in category 4 3 2 or one Category 2 is brutal now this is very very quick we’ve got cam Winfield iOS sh Olivier Simmons Matias van James

Crnich cast May K who’s who of category two ripping it up on the front well sir came up from category three he took the winning category three in qualifier one on the Paso Alto and then progressed to category two what I’m loving is that he

Is not phased by the quality of the race field he’s absolutely going going out and going out hard because you’ve got to learn to mix it with the next category up when you progress you might not last the whole race distance but eventually you will and by racing with people who

Are faster than you riding with people who are faster than you it’s one of the key ways you will get quicker you will not get faster by riding with people that are slower than you it is an age old f it doesn’t work and it’s really I

It doesn’t work but I’ll tell you something just on occasion you need to go out for a cafe ride for cake with a tel yes I quite agree but it won’t make you go quicker no it might just make you have more fun okay right no cake for the

Year Boys in category one we have the Coalition Alpha jaw Squad in with us once again going for a full Squad of five Turk tber Vu jasin Kaminsky and Jones what a team they are humans team Danel Ricardo penit representing them we have the pain toasy Squad of an yobs Christo

TM we’ve got yakob buler Michel planto and yod yams and with category one team UAE Clancy Michael nson Mr X100 Pablo popovic and SS with three seconds to countdown those yellow jerseys are primed and ready to go the green light is is there and away go the race field in category 1 43

Riders on the start sheets today as they swing out onto the course now Vu Jin absolutely been having phenomenal form over the last six or seven weeks last week he was pipped at the post and I say pipped at the post because it was a six

Up Sprint in the category One race last week with half a second separating the top six Riders it was nson who came out on form uh but literally you could have thrown a blanket over the top six great racing great action and another of our regular animators on the move here early

Seven wats per kilo coming down from yaka buland who has taken it from the gun here this is going to make life difficult for all of our you tune he’s got plane in his ears let’s get this party started that’s all right when you were talking about going round and round

Again I had cie Mano with spinning it around again in my he because we’re in Australia well if you’ve got a theme tune that you think fits with a myw Sunday Race c let us know get in touch tell the team you never know what a secret fend tune may happen yeah guilty

Fles Kylie nothing wrong with that Kylie there you go right anyway enough talking about Kylie let’s take a look at yaka buan here because he really is pushing hard from the worko heading for the climb now out of the saddle here really is punching through the bottom of that

Pedal stroke pulling up with his hamstrings there on every stroke getting that circular movement really right and you can see really interesting he’s got a keyboard to the side as well there just for instant access but I tell you what he’s really putting the power down I’m thinking that uh you know they’re

Not interested in chasing that’s I’m thinking p and poic in fact popovic has just come to the FL and actually started to dig here because no one was taking up the mantle of CH of catching Borland sometimes out ofsight out of mind and if

They don’t expect you to go then it is a fantastic tactic because you’re the leader on the road for some time and that is what Borland has done he ridden away from the pack and an unexpected point on the race course popovic vasin Graves Tolbert all now starting to take

Notice of what is going on at the front because this is the type of course where you can stay away because the gradient continually changes and the draft has limited places and limited effect because remember of course draft is dependent on speed speed is something that yoyos up and down and it’s very

Difficult for the group also to get into a rhythm if you think normally that you move along in a group you get that movement you get that pace you get that Rhythm and that’s typified by people who are riding smoothly well looks like Michael nudson looking pretty smooth at

The moment he looks like he’s paying the price so for losing his hair he’s got the Hat on in the turbo room a man who likes to mirror his Avatar I yeah what came first shaving head on the Avatar or Michael nson shaving his hair the answer

Is it was his Avatar first I’ll tell you something he’s out of the subtle hit and in fact it may well be he’s actually got himself a red hat on today I’m just looking for him in the group he has look at that red hat on the Avatar I think

And red hat on him he’s out the saddle here just kicking a little bit over this gr you what you really notice here is it went to two and a half three and a half% there em and he was out the SLE just to keep take buland is still down the road

You know seven seconds clear he’s still clear and it’s nson leading the charge with safad uh in there as well so is Turk and great to see you and Macky in here new Rider from the UK now interesting fact there are two Racers bik races in the UK called

You and Macky and it’s not a super common name it’s not like John Smith is it but we do indeed have two Riders they are pretty much the same age both in their early 20s uh one from darbishire who is currently out and has been racing

In Belgium he is the younger of the two we also have a Yaki in the UK from Scotland SC name isn’t it origin so whilst you might think John Smith was a common name in the UK and we might see two John Smith we’ve actually got two Yan Macky riding and racing a

High level in the UK okay get in touch Yan at biking Em Out M face pain tell us which one you are uh because well I think we might be able to guess I think we’ve kind of worked out yeah but you know it’s because the you and Macky from

Darbishire I actually no there you go right okay let’s see how y performs on the clam he’s got a long way to go to get there because remember we had that big time Gap from category 4 to category one category 4 leaders going through and

Over the top of the climb this is the Category 3 pack uh and the pack at the moment are looking to close down on Riders In Front this is a big number of riders ever at the top of the climb here the W and G climb normally we don’t see

20 plus Riders but that has got to be 20 plus Riders there well we one of the things that I find really interesting on the my Sunday race club particularly in the men’s race and in the men’s race particularly because of the size of the race fields um is that the

Categorization the strength and the depth in the category and the I want to use a phrase but it’s not quite right how like the equalness of the Riders the similarities the strength and depth of the race field and how the categories put those categorizations together we see particularly on this

Course where it is a shorter shorter climb they stay together in big groups up and over this course and we often end up with a Sprint at the top of the climb now where would you end up with a Sprint at the top of the climb unless you’re on

The passo alto and the climb is only 3% well wool and gone yep I think that’s true and I think it makes it harder we can see Majin treski treski here is caught he went off he gets caught and I think in part that’s because of those

What you saying that the the packs are so close they’re so big the differential between Riders is so small it makes it more difficult to get a gap but this is a course that does encourage hard racing I think for me the Australian courses

Such as um uh the this one uh we’ve got the outer loop I think one of the Belgium courses also does the same produces very much aggressive racing well that’s a rider who’s been producing aggressive ring Rec been such on form throughout December and into January regularly in

The top five on the Sunday race cup and you can see the determination on his face at the moment not wanting to miss the move on the front here as the push comes on in fact it is vujin himself that takes up the mantle on the front of

The category One race Reuben da in two now don’t come up from category two recently with Phil Graves yeah Graves and D category two very strong Riders move up into category one and I think when we get to category one we see more periodization of training here we go

Should we do an in-depth geekery so what we find is that the tra the Riders have more periodization there’s more targeting events there’s more deliberate rest there’s more deliberate move up push through training blocks and I think we see that more in category W and it m

Means for me that Riders who perform week in week out like SS actually that is really even more impressive because you’re up against people who are often trading in phases Phil Grace will be trading for the triathlon season he’s he has a downtime he then builds his

Endurance he builds his base miles then he builds his strength and he builds his speed on top that pyramid of training and I think that means if you can compete all the way through that is really really hard I mean don’t here he’s come up and I think what he’s doing

Here he’s gone for that Sprint with SS he’s looking to get himself at home and the way to do that may well be that he can ride with them and you’ve said this plenty of times I haven’t you you get in you start off with the group and you

Stay with that group early on well and I think one of the things that’s really interesting is the different targets across the year so currently at the moment a number of the US Riders will have tried to Peak for the USA championships uh bjor Anderson is the current world champion in Esports now

The World Championships is not until October in 2024 so we’ll have Riders trying to Peak for that and putting in programs for that so it really does depend upon what the choice is and what that Target is as well and you may well have multiple targets well andreason at the moment

Tightly in this pack uh as we see the group continue to move there now 6 and 1 12 km into this 45 km race and let’s remember the category one Riders were the Last Riders out of the start pens today 20 minutes behind our category four Riders so look at that bjor

Andreason in those rainbow Stripes at the moment on the screen fantastic to see him wearing them on the Sunday race club can he maintain them this year well he’s got to wear them all the way through till October at least and he may be wearing

Them after that as well I think I’d have worn them from the moment I got them you’d have slept in them of course bjor let us know if you slept in your Rainbow stripes the night that you did uh that you took that win because I think I

Would do the moment you got that Jersey presented to you you got those rainbow Stripes that has going to be a stay and sleep in the Jersey every single time uh I’ve had the pleasure of putting worst of a lot of World Championships over the

Years and I’ve got to say I think it’s really really good to see those icon ionic rainbow Brook bands make the way into eort and it shows you just how far we’ve come as a discipline was I was going to ask you how many world championships have you commentated on

But I bet you don’t know do you no I don’t it’s a lot um it’s what disciplines XE mountain bike uh so xce XC downhill trials BMX freestyle BMX flatland um Road cycl cross um how many times have you called Matthew vanderpol across the line uh probably several hundred how many

Times have you called pfp across the line not enough there you go Pauline Pauline for Amo let’s get some more world champion Stripes Under the belt in 2024 because Matt says he’s not called you across the line enough well you know what multidiscipline athletes and there is a

Fairly serious Point here actually when you you we talk about the Matthew vaner paes and we talk about people like Pauling Fano they are reiners Pauling fan Fano probably did back in BFB has was holding World titles in cyc across mountain bike and in row simultaneous four disciplines last year

Four disciplines last year she had gravel XC xcc I’ve done that as well uh indoor cycling forgot about that as well and pycho ball uh yeah told you I couldn’t remember them all but they are the sort of athletes who who TR work so well across disciplines and that’s what

I really love here is that we’ve got so many different Riders you know Johan Moreno is here we got Kil in here we see them on the Sunday race club but these are people who are so talented and I don’t it doesn’t matter whether you’re in the men’s field the women’s field

Categories one two three or four all our Riders are immensely talented riding in the Sunday race club I don’t think that you don’t have that the mix of backgrounds is phenomenal isn’t it because you get triathletes you get rowers you get get Road cyclists you get mountain bikers you get speed skaters

You get all sorts of different backgrounds coming to cycling and coming to Esports cycling and Esports racing and that for me is what is fantastic you get people who use this as a second wave of train so when you think about Formula 1 racing car drivers regularly using

Cycling as part and parcel of their training well we can see Yan Mareno here in his training you see that rout I think is in the background with all the cables leading out there hi you’re Johan I hope it’s all going a plan at the moment it’s certainly looking good we

Know Johan Moreno is one of our Riders who is always looking to make the racing tough he’s always on the attack he one of those Riders who I think we are going to see a lot of I’ll tell you something I’m looking I’m looking at the clock in

The background and I’m wondering whether that actually says qu a pass Five because we do indeed know that our Riders and Racers are complet completely everywhere around the world they are racing in different time zones for some of them it is the middle of the night we

Know our us Riders join us at 400 a.m. we know our Riders from the UK at the moment well I can tell you it’s quar past 10 in the morning in the UK at the moment wherever you are around the world they are all on the screen in front of

Us at the moment as this is our Category 2 race and they are working their way up the woen gong climb you can see on the bottom left hand corner of your screen the damage this climb has done to the category 2 race as on the other half of

The screen well that is the category One race and they are coming into the bottom of the climb so Category 2 over the top goes Henry East this is a drop down it rises up we’ve got a little Peak and then a big descent here this is the time to get

Some recovery done little kick you can see coming out of the saddle there to go over this little Peak and then into The Descent now this is a moment where you’ve got to decide he wants the back wheel in front you know he wants your

Wheel come on Henry you’ve got to get on there he’s got to take I’m loving the fact he’s let down lower so he can get better aerodynamic position come on buddy this is where you’ve got to push you need to be in the group here this is

The long run down and the problem with this is that people who’ve been taking it easier on the climb get that recovery done now coming up on his wheel comes Rodney loley who goes over the top you know loley is a area of Sheffield associated with Rob Robin Hood there you

Go so famous name there lole on his way down will he be taking away the prize money will he be taking away the gold will he be giving it to the poor I can I just well can I just say most people assume Loxley and Robin Hood is

Nottingham they do because of Sherwood Forest they but actually Loxley itself is region of Sheffield it is and Robin Hood is supposedly buried near brafford yeah in Kirk and little John is apparently buried in the haage church out in the Peak District in darbishire I

Love Miss and legends but and that is a whole different show not this one we could go down one of my favorite podcast uh is we’re on podcast my favorite podcast is a podcast called we have ways which is which is a historic one and they go down more more Sid shoots rabbit

Warren tunnels branches sideways to go have a look at now we’re gonna we’re gonna go back to the action because we’re going to dive in with say Sapp and I am loving the trophy cabinet behind him now s is a regular Road and mountain biker Champion Road and mountain biker

Uh and he’s riding he rides a lot of the tours great to see that they’re up there I hope that’s inspiring him today out on the course we know he’s strong on a climb on a long climb has he got the power think to stay on this on the kick

Well he was sixth last week in that Sprint unfortunately missing out um he was at the back of the blanket not at the front but regularly in the top five he finished third on the Y her in the men’s December final he is one of those Riders who you can never discount he

Climbs really really well now Woolen gong last time qualify at four in December saff rzad did indeed take second place from V jassin so he’s got form on this course he knows what he’s doing and here we go he just sitting him move up towards the front he is the rer

In the yellow hats just coming to the four alongside him with the blue hat is OE Jones with just in with that white helmet on these are the three Riders up near the front Thompson and Van demon moving up as well andreason everybody wants to be in this front third but

Riders now starting to be distanced out the back of the group you can see that in the center of your screen you can see those avar going backwards and on the left hand side of your screen you can see that we are in with our league group

But there are our bodies all over the climb now as Riders are unable to stay with the pace of the leading group an yobs is keeping Pace though at the moment CT climb a clanes here really is putting a lot of power down this uses your glutes it uses the muscles around

Your back into your legs it allows you to get a lot of power down I tell you something to say we are coming into this section he wasn’t really kicking out of the subtle I wanting to stay in the pack at the moment because this is the first

Time up the wol and gone climb for these category one Riders uh they’ve got to go up it twice more on the third time up in the race it is the checkered flag at the top but take a look at that look at the time it takes the category one Riders to

Get up this time SS setting the fastest time four minutes four minutes to climb the wool and gone climb that’s why the packs can stay together because it is just a short effort through Jin popovic safad norin Thompson Andreas n and x 100 rounding out the top nine uh great great

Climbing great climbing big pack together this front of the race though s safz has carried the momentum through I expect to see vtin and popovic close down on him and come up from behind into shot fairly shortly and that is here we in fact here they come SS leading them

Through then here comes the rest of the group onto his wheels this lead group should be able to form behind there are three Riders distance they’re just on the white line coming down and now it’s going to be critical to use the draft don’t forget steering 3.5.2 if you’ve

Got something like an elite Riser the jet black block or a waroo bike or you can use the keys on your iPad or on your keyboard on Windows to steer getting into the draft now is absolutely critical it saves energy it improves the speed and those three Riders behind that

If they don’t work together they’re done for well these Riders at the front really backing off the pace at the moment and I’m watching SS’s heart rate drop like a stone at the moment 26 Riders still in contention going over the one and gone climb for the first

Time as we drop in with the category 2 racefield they are further up the road they have come down over the climber now on that flat section on the run back into the City and it’s Nicholas Sprat who’s in the lead at the moment Simmons is the rider crossing the bridge over

Behead is in three with Ritter at the front of the chasing group it’s not a big gap it is just three seconds and then there is you can take a look actually on the bottom left hand corner of your screen we’ve got uh Simmons Sprat well Simmons just joining on

Sprat’s back wheel the chase group behind and then further behind just out of shot on the bottom left hand side of your screen is the third group on the road you can just see them coming into sight now so two leaders chaseing impa then another big chasing group behind as

A bitco tries to come across that Gap picks the pace up Gates does the same bangster does the same as well so we’re starting to see action to try and close this gap down before we get onto the climb we’re in with the yakob at the moment and yakobo on the offensive

Trying to get across this C now this should be bit of effort he’s looking pretty calm at the moment he’s not sucking in the oxygen there’s not that sort of massive massive sucking in the oygen no look at him he’s he’s spinning he’s really this really smart R because

He’s spinning the power up he’s not forcing it round brute force and ignorance style that is great technique because what he’s doing he has spun his way up there and he’s used his revs to increase the power to get him there rather than just thugging it out well

He’s indeed using his revs his has been fluctuating between around 90 and 100 on that section as they’re now on the bridge on the run into the city this is the bridge off of the start where we saw the Riders come in with the attacks early on up The Punchy climb in fact

Sprat just coming round Simmons on the run in that is The Punchy climb ahead you can see Spratt Simmons have now got eight seconds on the lead on the chase Group Winfield now coming to the four but immediately coming off the pace cranic coming to the four now but

Staying on the pace with van and r now that is about teams and Teamwork because Winfield The Hitman Simmons and Sprat who do they ride for uh normally they nor yeah they do yes good point good point that’s one of the things that really is going to come into play next

Week so this is our last qualifier remember the structure of the Sunday race club is really simple every Sunday as the name would suggest Sunday race club do put it out there cuz I have been in the obvious I stay in the blinking obvious that’s the one I went to that

School however uh I have been asked before what day is it on so it’s not that obvious clearly to some people every Sunday we have a qualifier kicking off on the first Sunday of the month running through to the penultimate Sunday of the month the last Sunday in

The month is Sunday race club finals when we don’t just have individual prizes we have the team prizes as well and our start sheet uh will become a sea of color a massive coloring in as we identify all of those riders in teams three Riders to count in

The team competition five Riders the maximum vuin without a doubt will be in a team of No Doubt of that you would not want to leave him unsigned with it was well he’s part and pass of Coalition Alpha they’ve got to be one of the most

Dominant teams at the moment on the myo Sunday race cup because they took the win in the December final Coalition Al J had riders in second Sixth and eighth place uh so Turk Talbert vujin Kaminsky and Jones and great to see Michael Kaminsky showing us his p g s a pitch

Through don’t forget tag in at my wosh taging biking mat fix pain pain cave for Kaminsky on uh Instagram Jack boras pain cave here he is on the front with what it’s great brilliant to see Borland here my takeaway from today’s cameras in people’s pain CES is that I

Clearly um look like death warmed up I look like I’m about to explode on the bike the guys here I mean they are I know Club you’re not a world class Esports Rider I would like to think I could get into the bottom of category D category four yeah four well I don’t

These Guys these guys in cat one will be will be competing at the worlds they will but everyone’s looking at the same category 4 when we see in category 4 RS Category 3 two and one everybody is looking super cool and super compost I’ve thought that all day all all day

We’ve been covering I have just you know what I bet they’d look super cool and super composed in the commentary Booth as well I bet you they wouldn’t well we’re in not sure I do we’re in with the leaders on the road on the right hand side of your screen

They’re at 26.8 km and that’s the category 4 race at the screens on Luke allport at the moment and I’m taking a little bit of a look down the screen there it’s looking like we’ve still got quite a large group you know in this category 4 race they are on the climb

For the second time about to come over the top of the first kicker they will then drop down and the second part of the wool and gone climb will be in front of them and I think that’s seven riders in Touching distance if you include zavier mayard I think Matt Smithson is

Now distance in eighth position but remember we have Riders being caught so left hand side of your screen you can see the category three leaders are starting to catch category four Riders the category 4 Riders are going to stay with them as long as they can easier done on flat sections and downhill

Sections where the draft gives you some help however the moment you hit this CL that is not going to be the case right hand side of your screen you can see that the leaders in category 4 are onto the climb and Har has taken a roll at

That he’s G up the road the man with the polka dot skin suit there just off the back of the just climbing back up and into the group but for me this group is going to be a really interesting one as say keep making the way around there on

The Second Ascent of the climb remember that we cover this climb three times finishing at the top category three on the way in to the climb I’m looking at the riders in this group at the moment OS Juliano Moreno hoes canara Bara GES Neville Ross all of these Riders have

Been top five in category three really pushing on this race course really suiting them they are working their way through the category four race field the bottom left handle of your screen you can see that really really clearly the category 4 race field scattered up the

Road and down the road behind them as this tight-knit group continues to tap on the pedals up the wool and gong climb it’s currently pushing on we’re in with Serio hoes in fact you can see hoes there on the left hand side of your screen concentrating looking at that

Screen ensuring he’s staying in that group he does not want to let them go he wants to sit in that pack he wants to go over the top with that pack pack he really needs to concentrate and stay in there as the Riders continue to push

Montell is there Bara cigua is in there kusano is there so is lgo in fact we’ve just got the category four rider that’s Jeff Rooney who we saw earlier just off the back of the group he’s too is trying to dig in and go with them but that’s

The category three race field in front of him riding away up the wool and gone climb this leading group starting to feel the pressure starting see ones and twos coming off the back of the group a quick reminder that we will have a dip and a climb up again because we lose

Some of this height that we have climbed as we drop down they’re going to go over the top they take the right turn they drop down and then go onto the second part of the wall and go climb which includes that steepest section up at the

Top they’re on the climb for the second time at the moment our category one Riders are not at that point yet they’re at 19.6 kilm so they are just about 2/3 of the way from the summit from the first time they’ve done the Descent they’re 2/3 of the way along heading in towards

The climb for the second time we have two leaders clear yakob Borland and line of Jass in their time Gap at the moment is 8 to9 seconds the chase behind is being led by the UA Clan team in conjunction with a real multitude of riders there just saw SS roll through

The front at about five wats per kilo but you’re now seeing Andreas and tur Thompson yobs Grace planto has all starting to squeeze they won’t want to get two big dangerman like L of Justin like yakob Borland let them go too far the 8sec Gap that’s where it’s at at the

Moment in category one on the left of your screen on the right right hand side of your screen Nicholas Sprat Olivier Simmons your two leaders they have a slightly bigger Gap they are at 12 seconds at the moment James crnich T Kon and cam Winfield yianis B head as well

As car SP all poring to try and get that Gap potentially down a little but I tell you something Olivier Simmons along with Nicholas Sprat are putting in a big shift on the front just like we’re seeing from Vu jasin and now we see a response coming behind vujin and Borland

Because Pablo popovic has decided enough enough 10 wats per kilo we saw just come out of Pablo there nine wats per kilo at the moment he’s putting a big kick to come across on this climb he’s a rider who knows when to put the pace down when

To put the pressure on the pedals he’s been pursued now pin van demon 11 and a half wats per Kil kilos coming out from Pim that power to weight ratio so critical on the climb norin now comes you see the figure with the yellow helmet coming behind him he’s now

Kicking clear and as Riders come across in ones and twos this is going to make a long string they’re going to use some of the draft from the category two Riders are catching and you can see the steering in effect here pan going off to

The left hand side to pick up the draft that’s coming off the back whel safad at the moment he is the rider he’s the last Rider who’s left the group but he’s going to get picked up again he hasn’t got enough Gap oie Jones comes through

With that blue cap he is going to use the momentum down and up over the top he will make at least one back wheel but will it be the ones he wants all of these skirmishes all of these moves off the front are all driving the chase on

The Gap in front to vasin and Co come down5 seconds I tell you something this is absolutely brutal racing they are working so so hard to close these GS because they know what’s coming they know they’ve got to go up the Woolen go climb again and they’re not there yet

This is an attack between the first ascent and the Second Ascent and this race really wants to get lit up because Fu jasin bovic and Borland are clear it’s nah who’s leading the chase with norin and pan kinsky is in there as well with Jones they are Vu Jin’s teammates

From the Coalition Alpha jaw Squad they won’t want to do the catch but they will want to sit on the other Riders and make them work if they want to transition over to this leading three Borland doing a phenominal job today he went hard he went hard from the gun and he’s

Continuing to go hard still you can see the air circulating from those fans those fans are absolutely crucial to this effort at the moment as bjorland gets up out of the saddle and continues to push on those pedals he’s up here with vasin and popovic three Riders

Leading this category One race at the moment 22 and a half kilm done wow absolutely brilliant action here today buland with bovich and Co as they make the way through the city sorry the city beach Sprint at number two the time checks there remember this is not about

The first across the Line This is the fastest time through the line and therefore the Chasers tend to have the fastest times very interestingly SS and Mr X100 from the UAE Clan team clearly moving through there very quickly with Mikel planto the three Riders chasing hard trying to make the way right up

Into cont but with the pressure being on we are starting to see groups fracture s safad looks like he’s going to make contact with the group in front we can see the effort WR on his face that is a ride he has made made that that’s now

Four on the front and this is becoming more and more dangerous as more Riders get across because the Gap has gone back to 10 to 13 seconds so averaging about 12 seconds at the moment and if you look at the pace of the Riders behind they

Are not well I’ll tell you on a chase and also these are Riders who are capable of staying away up the climb you know quite often the expectation is that the pack will catch during a climb but these four Riders are more than capable of staying clear Pablo popovic second

Last week Vu jasin third last week you know these Riders completely capeless thank saffari was sixth last week but it was just half a second separating the top six Riders these Riders know they can stay clear the guys behind you know we’ve got May noren van demon Turk they

Are now back down the road and really need to start thinking about tactics if they want to be in the mix here they’ve got to think about tactics they got to think how hard they chase though because how hard do you go knowing that you’re

Going to hit the base of the next time at 26.3k Chase too hard into the base of it and you’re going to pay the price because there’s plenty of other people in that group unlike these two on the front now Simmons and Sprat uh we saw these Riders breakway through the city

On Category 2 they are still clear so two Riders clearing Category 2 pretty similar tactics to the four Riders who are clear in category one but Spratt and Simmons do ride as teammates at the end of the month these two Riders tapping their way now up the Woolen gone climb

They’re 21 seconds clear of the chase group R is in the chase group van opina bangston all in the chase group these Riders cranic is in the chase group now these are top five Riders week in week out and they are chasing Simmons and Sprout at the moment 21 seconds clear

Now like the category One race these two Riders are capable of staying clear for the whole climb they are they’re definitely going to be clear let’s take a look at these Riders as they’re on the climb so just looking at those riders that there we’re just having a little

Look in detail at them they’re going over the top the Gap has opened in front yes the Riders In Front could stay away but it’s two Riders versus well many it is it’s two versus many but it’s accurate because it does vary and you can’t guarantee that the number that’s

There going over the top of part one of the clim will be the same number that go over together at the top of part two looking across of the category one and two races they’ve got Riders way categories three and four we can see on our screens here the distances between

Them are coming down as we would expect I think the pace of the racing has eased in this part of this this is very controversial at times but I feel that the pace has come down on the third second sorry the second of three sectors if you imagine this is three sections

This towards the end of part two people of EIT montel’s now starting to wind but look at these numbers 3.8 we know that our Category 3 Riders can do that no problems at all well they have just backed off the pace because they just but they’ve just gone up and over that

Kicker um you know now backed off the pace to take a bit of a breath but I do think you’re right Matt I think when we get to the transition through the city into the final wool and gone climb Ascent which takes us to the Finish I do

Think you’re going to see two things one you’re going to see Riders taking a deep breath and setting themselves up for the finish and then two you’re going to see a brave Rider try and go for a long effort yeah particularly when you’ve got a group like this you’ve got one two

Three four 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 you got nearly 20 riders in that leading grp I was just noding in agreement and then realize that yes whilst we’ve got cameras on us uh no one else can see them but you and me and the team behind

The scenes well talking about that and having cameras on him kigia at the moment has got a camera on him as he continues to tap in this leading group in category three it’s in the mix with this group as they work their way through now on the final lap of this

Course I think he’s just put on board some fuel there I think that’s food and I think you may well be talking to his teammates as well you can see though number of riders that are in hats I don’t think I’ve seen as many riders in hats because a lot of our Northern

Hemisphere Riders because it is absolutely if you’re not in the northern hemisphere at the moment lucky you because it is pretty Baltic pretty much away all the way across the Northern Hemisphere as we in the dep enormous hemisphere winter if you are in the southern hemisphere you’ve got the tour

Down under on the goat which is absolutely amazing and if you like the kit quick reminder before we dump back in the action if you like the kit of the new UAE Emirates team or the UAE adq team you can get the kit and the bikes

On my wish and inspire you maybe to do another ride go inspiring you to do a ride there was alesio from the Italian espresso Squad he was second last week can he go one better has he had enough coffee on board do you think paneton was having there I don’t know about

That what would you what would your choice fuel be please get in touch don’t send this one to M you send this one to me at Matt fix P what is your choice fuel that is not a Sports Nutrition well my sister always sends me Turon from

Spain oh now okay explain very quickly what ton in is about sort of like nouar but Rock Solid and doesn’t go sticky in your back pocket on the bike it’s like a Britt sugary nutty mixture that’s like a solid bar that if you hit somebody on the head they crack yeah they might

Crack rather than the t now yod y comes there with the chamser Jersey I think that is in the background hung up proudly with his race numbers love to see then people have some inspirational uh bits and pieces in their room some paraphernalia maybe some apparel and

That’s what we’ve got yod y comes there with that Dutch Champs Jersey the red white and blue looking forward to seeing uh the Dutch Riders In Action in the women’s cyc cross coming up if you are watching this you’re wondering what else we do we do lots of other bases I’m

Going to be on International cyc cross Duty when we get to the end of the show so I’ll be moving over uh not quite literally but figuratively on to the UCI cycle across it is round 13 of 14 it’s really Hing up you can get that on the

UCI worldwide feed please do that remember of course my Woo is a UCI partner it’s hotting up here as well you know it is and I’m looking forward to transferring the UCI cyow cross and the mountain bike to the UCI Esports cuz My Wish of course the Esports partner for

The UCI for 2024 25 and 2026 this is the second time up the will and gone climb for these category one men vjin popovic safad and well I was going to say and Borland but those three Riders now 10 seconds clear Borland just dropping back not able to stay with them

On the climb just passed Now by Kaminsky cuz Kaminsky is kicked at 10 watts per kilo to try and make the juncture now Kaminsky is the teammate of Vu jasin both of them on that Coalition Alpha jaw Squad uh popovic from the U Clan team is

Up there nudson has got to be marking as well because I cannot believe nudson is going to let two Coalition Alpha Riders go he’s going to want to join his teammate Pablo popovic right at the front of this race four Riders pushing on here Kaminsky vasin and very dangerous Duo

Popovic we know momentum Master himself big kick in there and I think the UAE Clan team are basically keeping the other riders in reserve they know it’s a long way to go still remember the top of this climb is at 28.2k before they go into the Run round

The whole Loop and then back up the summit again yeah it’s nasty isn’t it because the polka dot Banner that signifying the end of the segment comes 200 M before the end end of the climb and after the polka dot Banner it kicks to

145% so it is nasty this one it is now in the prim segment look at that that was that was so much quicker now let’s remember s fastest time up here last time or was it SS I just you double check but it was four minutes dead from

SS from the UA Clan team the first time up so this is 18 seconds faster because Comm Minsky has gone up there in a 342 and that’s because he went from the chase group to the front group and Mr X100 also chasing there second fastest

Time up that climb he has got the second fastest time because he is also chasing and the chase Riders time and time again do that they’ve set the fastest segment times because the Riders were going through they know that they’ve got to get in touch really quick this is the

Little rise that comes after some we come over the summit you drop you come over here if you kick and Carry Your momentum you’ll come through here really really fast indeed and you can get on the wheels this is a big chase group this group has got such class riders in

Here you got Johan norin in it Anie yobs Zack n Michael planto we got OE Jones jackob Borland this group has the potential to close the leaders down in one lap with ease if if they put the mind to it and they work wow if they’re carrying passengers

Anybody who’s a passenger that will disrupt that chase and that will make it more difficult they are on the way down we’ve just gone around the Michael Vin turn here in Wallen gong that is the overpass this is looking very interesting well Simmons and Sprat have been caught you know in this category

Two race they were on that clim they were 20 seconds clear Spratt and Simmons were clear but krnic vane have caught now we’ve got a leading group of four in fact take a look at that that is the effort required to make the catch V is on

The line at the moment you can see him with the fan keeping him cool as he gets up and out that saddle to kick and kick again but Sprat cranic van Simmons the four Riders clear osina and Obito are the two Riders leading the chase behind

And it is indeed a chase behind but four Riders is clear now with a 6C Gap in the category 2 race so four clear it looks like it’s four chasing so four clear in category two four chasing but it’s then only another 3 seconds back to the group so

Everything to play for in Category 2 it’s everything to play for in category one as well M 100 on the Move 9 and 1 half watts per kilo as he tries to break clear the group behind he’s got 5 Seconds gap on that chasing pack you can

See behind he’s got to make 14 seconds up well if anybody can miss X1 100 can we have seen him Chase back onto leaders before on the self same section of tarmac these are the Riders he’s trying to get across to First V Jas in safad in

This group they have got Kaminsky in this is really class Trio of riders but Mr X100 will want to be there he want to get there very quickly I’m looking at this thinking what happened to papovich you and me both that’s two of us but has popovic gone clear on the front of

Momentum or has he gone out the b just looking at the dots left hand side I can’t see him up the road he might be out in the back it may be that he’s had the Esports equivalent of a puncher and the line dropped because that is that’s

That let’s face it we’ve all done races where we’ve had Mechanicals happen to us and you don’t get to finish a race or is he just out of camera shot is he out of the way we will see meanwhile as we go round this is the turn well the

turn but it’s with Justin and Kaminsky it’s the two Coalition Alpha jaw Riders who are pushing on they’ve got saffra ad 4 company saff rad absolutely motoring here as well as we’re looking at Michael Kaminsky in here as Kaminsky pushes on he made the juncture he made the catch he joined his

Team M Vu Jin they are two up on the front sa safad is the rider in the mix and take a look back down the road 25 seconds now these three have to X100 who was trying to chase and bridge the gap Borland who was with them is now in the

Mix with nah and penita and Jones they are 30 seconds back can this be the winning three mat no it could but I’m going for a no and the reason I know it’s I disagree with you well it’s always good to have a disagreement live on air if right in the

Commentary box it’s always makes for to say list in uh I don’t it could be but I just think that the everyone behind we so far out we got the climb to come of Wallen gong Hill it’s a climb we all know well I think they could come back

But if you ask me about another five another 5K maybe even another be 100 met by the line no ask be maybe 200 meters down the road I might give you a different answer because it’s dependent on the reaction that we get now now great to see we’re back in with Luke hot

The man that we saw coming out at the start the very start of the show like an absolute Cannonball out of the cannon he has made his way very comfortably into this group I say very comfortably because he set off early he’s looked like he’s got a game plan he’s carried

It out seven Rider leading group it’s going to be what can they do on the climb because completely if you’ve got this far and this group is still together there is no reason why anybody’s going to go hard now they have got four kilometers to go if you go too

Soon you will not have chance to recover and go again at this distance and with what you’re facing this is going to be critical I would not be pushing hard now till I get to W and G well this is what we said earlier on wasn’t it at this

Point in the race it’s either slow down take a breath everybody Dro their heart rate for a frantic Final 5 minutes or can you can you take a bet on the fact that no one’s going to chase you if you attack them because they want to drop

Their heart rate before the climb but can you guarantee you can stay clear well it is a really good question and one of those people looking at that type of question moment is indeed line ofj and he’s in the mix here with his teammate Kaminski and S safad these are

The three riders in the category One race who are clear and I’m trying to take a look how far back the group are behind uh but they’ve got category two Riders In the Mix as well uh we’re looking now at a gap of 30 seconds so Kaminsky Vu jasin and safad are 30

Seconds clear as they go into the city they are coming over the bridge they will go up the kick for the last time this is now the run through the city towards the Woolen gong climb that comes at 42.9 kilomet it’ll take them to 200 M before the Finish Well the segment will

Take them to 200 M before the Finish it’s another 200 meters of climbing to The Checkered Flag it is and if you want to know just what it’s like out on the road don’t forget the tour down under has been up Wonga Hill which is the uh

Outside version of w and gong climb the Riders have been up there you know what that climb has being absolutely electric and Michael in fact who we were just talking about great picture of him climbing that hill in the toor down for the UAE Emirates team on his Instagram

Feed do give Michael Vin and the UAE team and the the men’s and women’s team a follow because we’re expecting lots of great action and lot lots of fun watching them through the course of the Season as well of course as the full Esports season’s going in now let’s take

A little look at the climbing the run to the finish so let’s bring you up to date of where we are on the course at the moment so category one set off last they are over the top of the second Peak second climb of Wong gong Hill they’re

Going in to WS the final one Emma this running you said at the start of the show there’s more climbing outside of the climbs in the climb but we are I think going to see the decisive move in terms of race Victory being made surely on the wall and gone climb yeah 306

Meters of climbing if you add those three category four climbs together that is less than half of the total climbing on this course today thanks for the mass lesson I needed it I know I just thought I tell my m is utterly rubbish but as

You can see our Riders now are up and over the one and gone climb for the second time time they are now on the run into the Finish as you can see from the screen in front of you it is not a flat run it is continually undulating as they

Go through the city and the final climb well it’s only 1.9 km long and our category one Riders are sub four minutes up it it is steep so the first part of the climb the kick up part of the climb tops at 10% you then drop down into the

Galy and then the momentum is what you need onto the second part cuz the second part of that climb hits 177% well it is our category four Riders who are going to see the start of the climb first that’s the polka dot Banner for the final wool and gong climb we

Have got all Port half cman mayard kenad dadson and Peno they are all in this leading pack seven riders in who’s going to be at the top first category 4 hit the climb Category 3 little bit further out they have currently covered 42 of the 45 kilomet to cover so they are

About 1K behind the category 4 leaders if they come together on the climb there’s not going to be much draft to be had from the three coming through but the category three leaders on the left of your screen are also carrying category four riders in the group and

That could change the dynamic I think let’s go for another map prediction here the realistically I think that the Gap is too big for the category four Riders who are hitching the lift with the category three to make the junction back now up to category one four

Categories that we cover category one is the furthest out from the finish and category one leaders we still have our Breakaway our Trio of triers who are currently taking this out it is vasin it is going to be Kaminsky and saf rzad and at the moment they are catching Riders

Who are able to stay with them loley and Winfield the two Riders digging deep here to stay with the leaders and now that Gap is at nearly 40 seconds do you want to ask me that question again do they no because I think I said I thought

They were going to stay clear and they’re doing a beautiful job thank you very much the triumphant uh leaders at the moment rather than a trio of triers a triumphant of talent M that is a legendary hu porism The multi-time Olympian uh BBC trained broadcaster is never felt to remind me

And absolute inspirational commentator Hugh Porter well Anie yobs is the rider pushing on here from the chase group because the Gap is Now 49 seconds so yacob’s pushing on pushing into fourth place uh we’ve got category two Riders mixed in the mix here but van diamond is the ride at 7 seconds behind

Jacobs panit is there so is planto so is noren so is Jones they are the riders in the chase group so Jacobs now pushing into No Man’s Land well clear of the chasing group but not near the leading three yet but he does have category two

Riders he could use um it does this for me what oh he’s got out the saddle put the date in your diary Anie yobs gets out of the saddle he’s been climbing sat down he’s been racing he’s out of the saddle here and it’s his steep kicker

It’s 8% in places as you hit this it’s nasty watch him straight back down and look at that you can tell he spends a lot of time on the bike in the wind because you look at his forearms they’re level he’s got a nice Bend to his arms

Lovely bike position there on the bike and he’s putting it to good use but and it’s a big but they’re coming after him Gap is coming down I think he may have revoked the response that puts Emma’s prediction to shame and gives me back the chance of them getting caught not

That I want them to get caught I just love a great aggressive race well it’s 6.5 kilomet pretty much left of this race for the category one Riders will our three leaders stay clear or will we see this attack from yobs Van demon van

And eow X100 is there so is n are they going to push onto a level where our c one Riders get caught well a little bit further up the mountain the category four Riders they started 20 minutes before the category one Races they have 700 meters to go we have very little

Distance to go zavier mayard has put the Gap in on the early part of the climb he surely has done enough kind of in any any Universe parallel or otherwise see him coming back to the group behind but the group behind they are so close Six Riders

Behind four prizes six Riders and a few hundred meters to make it count this is going to be really interesting mayard has gone he was at Revelation during the myw championship of last year please do have a watch back into May of last year you can catch that back on the YouTube

Channel on uh Twitch TV uh that’s my wish live please do have a watch now right hand side look at the contrast mayard doesn’t need to dig in the red he’s keeping it smoth left hand side attacks are on this allport is up there H is up there peno’s up there

Cowman’s up there Kanga Danon looks like he is just about losing touch but allart’s kicked here this could be the move from allart will he get back here they go it is savier mayard leading you’ve got Luc or Port coming up in the second place they’re coming to the top

Well they are indeed coming to the top and mayard is pushing he’s got 200 M to go but it’s 200 MERS of climbing all Port is closing down you know he’s down to 12 seconds but mayard has dug and kicked again he’s lifted his Pace to

Seven watts per kilo because he knows he needs to motor he needs to push on the gradient is 14% under his wheels but he cannot let that phas in because he has got the win in sight you can see the UCI Banner the finish line on the Sunday race club as

Mail in category 4 comes round the bend and takes the win on qualifier number three on the Sunday race cup well all po who we have been in with a number of times during this live feed cakes second place to Mayor dadson is coming through from third cman should be finishing off

In fourth unless Pino just took that on the line so cman takes fourth Pino takes fifth that is the category four racing this is Nick sari he’s going to be the first category three Rider underneath the polka dot Banner signifying the end of the segment of the final will and

Gone climb so sari leading this category three up he’s got a 7 second Gap from the group behind behind those was pilo are starting to lift we’re starting to see eights starting to see nines they’ve got to get the timing right here and they are closing down on skari skari is

Now at two seconds has he got anything left he needs to kick he’s going to have to do it first if he looks up he can see the finishing Banner that UCI Banner behind the myosh banner and that is the Finish Line they’ve got to make it to

The blue UCI Banner as kersner goes K’s gone over the top in category three and takes the win from sari but da I think rolled him on the line as well wow what a finish there a fantastically time Sprint from Paulo Kirchner to take away the victory in category

Three category 4 well that was an absolutely blinding finish as well so Category 3 and category 4 with explosive last minute nail biting action for those top five positions head done and dusted in the lead we still have of course category three and four Riders out there if you still have

The guys keep digging it in get those positions done great work out here remember that this climb it does come to an end unlike the endurance climb that has just been launched on the 3.5.2 Edition that is a 57 kilomet climb it’s made up of seg got to say a massive

Congratulations to Julian Antonio Fernandez I think think he’s the first Rider to complete the endurance climb his time he wait ready for this 3 hours 34 minutes 52 seconds Julian Antonio Fernandez big Kudos hats off to you I think you’re the first if you do conquer it please let us

Know at my wish at my wish and at M fixer pain and at biking am if you complete that will we see Michael Kaminsky I think Michael Kaminsky got himself uh did all but the last section he almost got there and I think he just missed off the last section I think it

Was 3K shy of the finish and then he ran out of time well whether he’s running out of time or not he’s running out of time to win this race today because there is 2.2 2.1 kilometers now to go V jasin Kaminsky and safad the three Riders who have been clear for pretty

Much half this race course now on the left hand side of your screen in category 1 they are 500 M 600 M behind the leaders of Category 2 on the right hand side of your screen and Nicholas Sprat has come back into the lead but it’s Simmons it’s Sprat it’s cranic it’s

Van R now 22 seconds back so we now have four Riders clear in the category 2 race field they’ve got the second part of the climb well who is going to make it to the top Sprat van he Simmons and cranic four Riders we know who are phenomenal

Riders in this category two race field for my mind any one of those four Riders could take this this is James cranic who goes off the front first Sprat van and Simmons are all pushing hard behind they have got 900 M to go so 900 M the upper

Section here the red Chevron start kicking in indicating the Riders are going into that Red Zone they’re starting this as said it’s a long it’s steep at the start of part two it eases in the midsection then you get that nasty kick into the finish it is a real

Tough climb they’ve got the Gap though that Gap at the moment 37 seconds to oo Ken o a little bit further back he’s about a minute but we can see those time gaps coming down because they are all starting to compress as they come together behind our leaders at the

Moment Simmons and Van he just started to open a little bit of a gap I think on kic and Sprout let’s take a look look how hard look how hard matus van is working to get up this climb he’s battling with Olivier Simmons for first spot in this Category 2 race he’s got

Six 100 MERS to go it doesn’t sound like a lot but I’ll tell you something it’s going to feel like a lot because the pain of this last 600 meters to win this race it is going to take one big deep dig because there’s three Riders side by side in Category

2 brutal racing brutal brutal climbing here on the myw Sunday race club the final qualifying chance for our finals next week and the races are starting to split in category two on the right and in category one on the left as Kaminsky puts in an attack he has opened three

Seconds on Vu jasin and a 3 second Gap back to sath Res from Mel Kaminski behind them I think the chasing group are starting to close the gap down but this is going to be close it is indeed as Michael Kaminsky goes to try to replicate what he did in qualifier race

Number three in December that was his last win on Sunday race cup he took the win from his teammate Vu jassin can he do it again as we drop back in with the category two now these three Riders neck and neck at the moment it’s Nicholas Sprat who’s

Been dropped from this fourman leading group now six seconds back down the hill as Simmons and Van he continue to push on they look up and they can see that UCI Banner signifying the end of this race as van he kicks again he’s at nine wats per kilo Simmons is trying to

Respond but he just can’t get there as mattius van he kicks again in Category 2 to take the win from Simmons on the myw Sunday race cup so we can just see Maas van going down into a super Tock there he’s come straight off the wats no surprises there as we see Michael

Kaminsky he has look at that 10 seconds he’s broken them kaminsky’s kicked there halfway up this climb at 11 wats pilo has broken the group but his teammate vujin is kicking at 13 wats per kilo behind he’s got a swing round this corner can he take the win so Kaminsky

Takes the win in category One V Jon is going to come through for two saff rad is going to sit up and tap in for three all credit toid Saad sticking with those two teammates in that Breakaway staying clear of the chase group in category one and rewarded with third place today some

Fantastic riding by our Riders making the way up over the top side Saad on your screen it shows you how hard he’s been working there well done to S it’s a great Race by him you can see him loosening the shoes there so the Riders will tighten the shoes for that final

Sprint just get the maximum amount of power through they’ll ease them off when you come through the line will it be B van ano easing off he will be just ahead of Zack n who comes through aead of panita and noren with yobs then Mr X100

I think the next Riders on the way to the line so Anie yobs goes through the line Mr X100 is going to make his way he has about 20 more meters to go and he rolls his way in through the line he comes through clear of pin van demon and

Miguel planto who have chased all the way to the summit fantastic racing in Australia fantastic riding here on the Wallen gong circuit with the three CLS of Wen gong Hill finishing up here at the summit on the third time of Asin well that was a Sunday race cup and

What a race that was in all of our four categories so Michael Kaminsky taking the win in one hour 5 minutes 29 seconds in category one from lonel Vu Jas in his Coalition Alpha geord teammate Just 4 seconds back side saff rzad coming in in

Third B van an e count in in fourth Zach n in fifth panita in sixth norin in seven yobs in eighth X100 in ninth van he taking the win from Simmons in category two in category three it was Kirchner from dut and in category four well it was mayard from allport so all

Of those results will be confirmed eventually was all of our Riders come through the line they’ll turn from live to unofficial to then verified you can catch those on my wish.com slrs don’t forget please do tick the Subscribe button to stay watching to keep on watching whenever we go live it’s always
