If you want to buy a wig welding machine, perhaps your first wig welding machine or a new wig welding machine, the market is extremely confusing these days and even if you have decided on a manufacturer, they usually have different models and then you think about it. I would rather take this

I prefer that one that’s why we’re making this video TIG welding is an absolutely brilliant welding process it’s clean it’s neat you don’t have any spatters you hardly have to do any rework Huge advantage you also have very very few fumes in the workshop when you

Weld with it TIG welding is simply brilliant none Question but the market for devices is extremely confusing because I get these questions almost every day. I of course know where your problem is, what you want to know and I’ll summarize it all in this video right at the

Beginning. I have my different brands that I always use Again, I recommend the ones I use myself and what I use myself, of course I also recommend, but there are also many other manufacturers, I have other manufacturers in the planning stages for the next few months, which I

Will still introduce, but these are my favorites, these are my devices that I work with and it ‘s not just about the device alone, it’s of course also about what the device should be able to do, which is the state of the art these days and I want to

Explain that to you in short form in this video so that you can really be sure If you buy a new device, I’ll definitely pay attention to this and that point and I’ll buy a really future-proof

Wig welding device and have an expensive bad purchase where I’ll say in ZD months, oh, I would have preferred to have bought that because that’s always the biggest problem you have Then in retrospect I would have said that it was my first wig welding machine, I bought it 15 years ago, so

I started this channel and it still works and you can still use it and weld with it, but it wouldn’t be possible anymore My choice when I buy a new device is very simple. It only has two control knobs. It really only has limited

Settings. It only has two-strokes. It doesn’t have a four-stroke. So it’s really a bit limited and that’s the first thing I recommend to you If you buy a welding machine, always buy a welding machine where you have a complete welding ramp where you

Can actually adjust this entire welding ramp. That’s a really important factor, it starts with the fact that you have something like a four-stroke that you really press the button on it then you are in the ignition current, the device should really have a correct ignition current and then you release the button

You go up to your welding current and then you press it again the current drops again and that is important that you have such a nice welding ramp This welding ramp can actually be adjusted by most people who buy devices and say I just want a

Rotary control or two setting options. They write to me after ZD months and say if I had listened to you and I would have bought a device with the complete welding ramp KfT now I want to weld thin material, I don’t have a proper starting current, so

My first recommendation these days is really state of the art a complete welding ramp and this complete welding ramp should also be able to be adjusted I advise digital control, which means that such rotary controls are never 100% accurate. With a digital

Control, I can really say, for example, I want a ramp of 0.5 seconds. This means that I have a high level of repeatability. I can always adjust my device precisely according to a table, which is here With rotary controls like this, it’s always much more difficult.

For example, I have 100 amps here, 130 if I want to have 105 amps or something like that, that’s going to be difficult. The basic distinction between these devices is now this is a DC device, they’re all ACDC devices Here, with welding I can only weld

With direct current, with the other devices I can also weld with alternating current There is another device over here that also welds with alternating current and this is also a direct current welding machine, which means with the we2 I can only

Weld steel, stainless steel, copper and so on in the form of aluminum. For this I need an alternating current welding machine. That is the basic distinction. There are also methods how you can weld aluminum with the same current but I can tell you it works really very poorly

It only works on individual samples if you really want to weld aluminum properly with it then you need an alternating current welding machine that works with direct current really is a thing , there are various videos there Welded small test sheets or something similar,

But it works, but actually using it in practice is very, very difficult, so if you want to weld aluminum then you need an AC welding machine, which would be the devices

Here, for example, or the Supertitic 200 or the WE 2003, which I can do that I would also like to mention that WE 2003 will no longer be available in this form, it is currently sold out. I asked because

Many people have asked me, it will only be available again next year, which means we made a video about it and you have seen the video many times Given that you bought this device and that’s why it’s sold out, it won’t be back on the market until 2004 but

With a completely new display, but if we make the difference here then it’s a DC welding machine in the form that costs around The 300 € is really very highly recommended, offers a lot for the price and is still about half as expensive as an ACDC welding machine, which means something like this

Here costs just under 600 €, which costs 300 here if you look at it here, a great Tick 200 still costs 600 € I don’t think the device is available in that form anymore. Maybe it still exists. I don’t know. I wouldn’t recommend it anymore. Something like that costs €800, but

Without a hose package something like that costs €700. We’ll go into the devices again in a moment, but that If you have such a house number if you want to weld aluminum at some point and aluminum is of course a great material, you have a great option then you need an AC DC

Welding machine. Another very important criterion for wig welding machines is, for many people, the duty cycle, i.e. how long can I use it? I use my wig welding machine to weld and many people are always afraid that the device will switch off immediately, that the device will break.

I once managed to turn off the device here, but I burned a hole in a 6 mm stainless steel plate with the hose package with 200 amps It went out at some point, waited for a quarter of an hour, it turned on again, but what does this switch-on time

Mean in principle? The switch-on time is not the point at which this device switches off, the switch-on time is the value that the manufacturer specifies and says as long as you can work with my device then I’ll give it to you the guarantee, nothing will happen to the device and some

Manufacturers are very, very optimistic, others are rather very, very, very, very cautious, you could say, for example, these parkit devices have a very short switch-on time, so of course the manufacturer also protects themselves from the legends Device no, you can’t work that long on

The other hand if you stick to Parkside with the Mic Mac welding machines, there are people who tested them for hours and didn’t manage to switch them off to do the whole thing very briefly. For me it’s not a crucial value When you buy a wank welding machine, the

Duty cycle is usually much too warm with the hose package, so you can always retrofit a water cooling system, either you make one, there’s a video about it, I made it myself, it works really well, or you buy one that you can then use underneath or put

It next to the device and then you get a cooled hose package and that is really the central point. The hose package is always the point that fails and you can really only help with water cooling. There are also some people who get an air-cooled

300 Buying an amp welder is complete nonsense, especially in the wig area, but complete nonsense It’s also complete nonsense when it comes to the Mig Mac area, so I would always recommend a device with water cooling, which makes much more sense than buying such an upgraded device where

It then says that the device can handle the performance, but the hose package is not really a hose package a central point I always have these 26mm SR26 hose packages, so I’m really very very satisfied, especially with the hose package here I’m really very very

Satisfied. If someone asks me about the normal DC welding machine then I actually always recommend the we2 because it’s really very recommended it has a complete welding ramp that can be adjusted digitally two-stroke four-day it has a pulse it has everything you can imagine it is very affordable it has a very

Good quality and the feedback I get from you is always very good positive, a special feature that you don’t find in the price range, generally not found in the price range under 1000 €, the device has a controlled fan, which means

You start welding or you turn on the device then the fan turns on for about a minute then it switches on off and when you start welding again the fan switches on again the fan then runs the cycle the device is also monitored temperature so when

It has cooled down properly again the fan switches off again and when you start welding again the fan switches off again on is a very nice function, which means that most of the time you have something that you have prepared, at some point you start welding and then you have

Other things to do again and then the device turns off nicely and you can have some peace and quiet in the workshop with the ACDC wig welding machines It always makes a lot of sense that you

Buy a device that you can also operate a foot switch on. All the ACDC welding machines that I have presented here or shown here have the option of being able to operate a foot switch, which is the super Tick 200 Popular, very, very sophisticated TIG

ACDC welding machine and it really has a fantastically beautiful foot switch. You can usually always tell that you really have a multi-pole plug here, so a communication plug here is two-pole on this device. Of course, you can only switch it on and off.

Here you have more pin, you can connect the whole thing with a foot switch, but all the other devices here also have it, for example here we have five pins, here we have five pins and on

The device back here we also have five pins, even on this device on the WE 2003 you can have one Connecting the foot switch There are of course massive differences in the quality of the foot switches, which I don’t think is bad that here at Weldinger they are finally

Suitable for five-pin, otherwise you can see that here you have two-pin, five-pin, I have other devices over there from other manufacturers that have 13-pin or 11 poollig Here you have seven poles, a very exotic plug and as I said, almost all of the welding devices now have

Five poles and with the five poles there is also a nice foot switch, but that is also an important criterion if you want to weld aluminum then the foot switch has it The huge advantage is that I can regulate the welding current, which means I set 160 amps here, for example, I press

The full program through the device, I start welding with 160 amps, the material melts too much then I slowly reduce the power, yes I can do that really regulate here and that is of course a great function, especially for aluminum welding. When you buy a device you should make sure that you

Can use the device with the foot switch. The next big difference with the ACDC welding machines is of course the range of functions the device offers everything of possibilities what you can imagine that is also important a complete welding ramp two-stroke four-stroke pulse and that you can

Of course make different settings for the alternating current, that means you can set the balance here you can set the frequency here you can also do that with the super titic 200 the big difference between the two welding machines and the two welding machines is

Of course here I have everything on the display here I have to go through everything here everything is always there and with the devices I now have a digital control I have a display and this display adapts and that’s also something that you really

Find in high-tech or industrial devices now that you have a screen that adapts and that ‘s really very, very advantageous otherwise super Titic 200 is still a device that I’m very happy to recommend, a very sophisticated one Technology but you have to say that the device has

N’t developed that much in the last few years. I would have always wished that there would be a spot function or something similar, but that didn’t happen with the device, which means that the device is a rated device and that remains the case at the moment I’m not aware of anything that

‘s going to be new somewhere, that is, if I now have the WE 2030 here, then I now have the complete welding ramp here, I can go through the welding ramp, it’s a very simple DC process and if I do it now, for example I take the Pulse in and then the function

For the pulsing is set or the values that I can set there, which means that the device is much clearer and that is also the modern form that you see with the REM Tiger, for example, that you see with a Tetrix and the WE 2030 was by far the first device that really

Offered something like that. I currently only know that the we24p, which is next to it, offers the same thing and now various people have asked me. Can you explain the differences again? a little bit and of course I want to do that in this video,

But basically you can see how a control system develops and how it becomes clearer, which is why I have always told many hobby users that a device like this is normally enough and doesn’t have a spot function like this one super Tick 200 the devices

Really offer everything for the price you can weld steel with it you can weld aluminum with it you can work with a foot switch the super Tick 200 does not have a temperature controlled fan the device here also has a temperature controlled fan as I said The device will

No longer be available in this form, there will be a new version, I’m very excited. If I have the opportunity, I will of course also introduce it. Many people have asked me about the devices here whether I can compare them with each other a bit

I can work out the advantages, which means that the WE 2030 is from the winger professional line and really offers incredible options in the settings. For example, I have a spot function here and with the spot function I can also set the entire ramp. I can really

Influence every parameter and that’s natural an absolute professional level that means I also have a controlled fan. The fan works at the beginning, I think it doesn’t work at the beginning, it only comes on when I start welding, it is

Regulated differently on different devices, then a cycle runs and then goes again off and you have the device nice and quiet again like here, which is why I like to use it to explain the setting positions. Otherwise you have a complete display that adapts again and again, you

Have all the settings you could wish for in one form or another and the WE 204p also has a screen that adapts again and again, the screen is also completely Germanized so it also offers a lot of great options, but for example when I set a spot

I can’t define the spot or include the pulse in the spot So it ca n’t go that deep, the device doesn’t have a temperature-controlled fan, but otherwise it ‘s really an exceptional jerk welding device. I’ve used it for years I ignite the welding machine and the device still ignites and

The entire needle has been burned. The device detects that there is no protective gas or is present and Then the device says no, then we don’t weld either, it’s all little things, but the little things add up and you have a really great tool, so it would be

Difficult for me to really say which of the two devices I would use if I had one If I had to buy one now or wanted to buy one, I would recommend a WE 2030 to everyone

If I want a device that is really very close to a professional device and a WE 204p for every ambitious hobby welder and as I said a WE 2030 or a super Tick 200 is for them For beginners who now want to buy an ACDC welding machine,

It’s completely sufficient, so I hope I’ve provided a bit of information and I’ve cleared up a bit of the confusion in this case, even though there were a lot of questions here, all of the devices that I presented here in short form There are of course detailed videos for all devices and

Of course I link the link here at or the source of supply here at for all devices. Otherwise I wish you a lot of fun with welding. I hope that was interesting. Many people have always asked and I also get so many questions I’m always happy to answer everything, but

I hope I was able to clarify things a bit and chat a bit for 5 minutes. I think it’s gotten a little longer now, it’s usually better than having to write two or three short sentences

Somewhere in an email number like that If you write here you can show it much more vividly where the differences really are. Otherwise I wish you a lot of fun welding until your mania

      Nun meine Bitte an dich…:

    9. Hallo 👋
Sehr feines Video.

Mach bitte weiter so … 😉

    15. Vielen Dank für das Video! Leider bin nun leicht verwirrt 🙂

Hochfrequenz bedeutet doch, dass da was schwingt, also wechselt.
