Love Devon, Working in Seaton ATM, The lanes are great for quiet rides in the evenings, Bunchy bloody climbs though
M o r n i n g !
How many of these are you guilty of?
Thanks for the tips Juliet! I think my biggest issue is too tense when riding… probably because of my anxiety… lol. I'm going to try and focus on relaxing more… and just enjoying the ride. 🙂
That turning tip, steering with body, is very good for all conditions, especially for winter, when riding on ice/snow! Cheers!
Omg right on time when I got back to gravel riding. Too much air pressure was my mistake.
Motor cycles steer with their head Juliet, where you look the bike goes, eg looking at a pot hole , you will hit it , and balance also helps use only the back brake to slow down or you learn to fly! Great utube channel😎
Guilty of some, not all. Luckily I have a couple years or motorcycling experience, so that helps.
Such a great video!!! Love your Energy and usefull knowledge too ☺️
Thanks Juliet very helpful.
All excellent points of advice!
Now that’s how you do a ‘how to’ video. Great advice, straight to the point, quick demo and your off to the races! Love it❤
Some really good stuff here, but i got more out of your what to do’s rather than your what not to do’s
Nice 🖖
Also do enough miles to condition yourself to be able to ride 100 mile rides, unlike JE, the great DNFer.
That's a good tip about using your body to steer. One thing I do to quickly dodge around obstacles in my path, is I'll give the saddle a bit of hip check with the inside of my thigh. I get the bike to move more quickly than trying to turn the bars.
you know what makes for a better gravel bike experience – a mountain bike…lol
Dont attack Me like that about the tire preassure 😭😂
All good stuff, thank you for this and all your videos 👍
Great advice J thankyou
What A4e the shorts or bibs you wearing?
Great tips. I'm still not confident on a lot of technical gravel trails so will bear these tips in mind.
Great practical tips, really useful. Nice to see a few brief demos too 👍.
Good tips across the board, especially on climbing position & minimizing tension
Brake before the corner and not during cornering is even more important when riding off-road. Being fairly new to gravel guilty of the last one for sure, some of that i hope will fade with confidence.
What is a good pressure for mixed tarmac / gravel riding on all round tyres?
good tips Julie ! Thanks
Thanks. Some great tips here.
What is the tyre pressure you recommend?
What kinda PSI you rockin?
Very useful thanks
If you practice weight distribution you can stand and sprint on the pedals on most climbs.
😎😎
I’m a stander rider😁
