Jascha Beuttler loves to tour Europe in his Velomobile. Today he share’s his adventure starting in his native Germany then traveling to Poland and Belarus. In Belarus he found himself required to ride his Quest on the sidewalk which led to an interesting interaction with local authorities. Next up we go to Mumbai, India where we meet Rajkumar Khatri. He and his family have created a unique motorized recumbent trike out of discarded upright frames. Needless to say they and their trike have become a sensation in India. Lastly, we catch up with Tom Flohr in Lincolnton, NC. Tom is the owner of Trident Trikes and will bring us up to date on his company’s activities during the pandemic. He will be available to answer any questions from you during a live AMA session as well.

Great show! Thank you so much.
Thanks Gary & crew for awesome show!
Amazing
Regarding the question about "the first" U.S. based velomobile manufacturer… there is a company in Oregon called Velocity Velos (https://www.velocityvelos.com/) that has been around for awhile. They look a bit ungainly, as compared to the Milan, the Quest and others, but these are bona fide velomobiles that are manufactured in the U.S. Another company, based in Midland, TX, is Velomobile USA (http://pedalyourselfhealthy.org/FAW.php). They produce an updated version of the Flevo Alleweder, which can be purchased from them fully-assembled, or as a kit. These are the two U.S. based velomobile manufacturers that I am aware of, but there may be others.
Funny that sales went up as many people have no job and no money right now.
